I had a mixed experience at that pharmacy, I must say. The A1 side, top-notch service all the way. However, the other side left much to be desired. I inquired about a product and was told it had been discontinued, only to find out two weeks later that it was back in stock (clearly not true). Not the best situation, if you ask me.

The majority of the staff are pleasant to interact with, and there's one pharmacy employee who is particularly kind and helpful, although I don't know her name. It would be great if the other pharmacists were as lovely as she is. Kudos to Superdrug Robert!

I was on a bus heading towards Largs in the blistering heat, thinking to myself, "I could really use a fan right about now!" I quickly searched for fans and stumbled upon Superdrugs in Largs, which had a handheld fan at a fantastic price. Upon arriving at Superdrugs, I eagerly browsed the store but couldn't find any fans, so I decided to ask for assistance. A helpful staff member directed me to the manager, who informed me that they didn't stock fans at that particular location and suggested I visit one of their larger stores in Glasgow instead. I inquired about the reason behind this decision, but even the manager seemed perplexed. Overall, it was not the most satisfying experience for me.

Despite giving several days' notice over the phone, my prescription was still not ready. Last time I called to renew it, I was put on hold to check the stock availability, which was understandable. However, when I arrived to pick up my medication, I was informed that there wasn't enough stock and was asked to come back the next day. It seemed like no one remembered my initial phone call, which was disappointing.

After expressing my dissatisfaction to the pharmacist, they promised to send the remaining medication to me. It did eventually arrive after 4 days, so that was a positive outcome. However, the whole situation was more hassle than I needed. The attitudes of the staff were quite indifferent throughout the process.

If this could be rated a zero, it definitely would. My heavily pregnant partner had the unfortunate experience of visiting Superdrug in Largs to purchase a mini fan (currently 32 degrees outside). When she asked a store colleague who was stocking shelves for help, she was shown where they were located. Shockingly, the colleague then decided to take the last two "good" fans to the back for herself.

To make matters worse, the remaining fans left on display were in poor condition with tangled hair in them. Having worked in retail for 18 years, I can confidently say this is by far the worst customer service experience we have ever encountered. Who in their right mind would behave in such a manner?
