I had a bit of a struggle trying to acquire methylphenidate because of the national scarcity. I made a few calls around and when I reached out to this particular pharmacy, they assured me that they could certainly place an order for a different brand directly from the manufacturer and have it ready for me in two days. This was crucial for me as I was set to go on a trip just three days later. (This all unfolded after a whole week of being bounced between GPs and pharmacies.) I had to urgently book an appointment with the GP to switch my prescription to a different brand. I was given reassurance twice that it would be obtainable in time. However, when I called two days later, I was informed that it would likely take around a week. They weren't aware of who had promised me that it would be ready in two days as all staff members were supposed to be informed about the timeframe. Additionally, they couldn't offer me any alternative solution apart from taking back the prescription and contacting other pharmacies to check if any of them had my medication in stock. While I understand the nationwide shortage situation, I find it completely unacceptable that I was misled twice and left in a position where I had only one day to hunt down another source for my pills.

I often pop into Wells Pharmacy and find the staff to be quite helpful, when they are able to be. My husband and I both rely on several medications, so it can be frustrating when a medication is not available upon arrival. However, I don't believe this is Wells' fault, but rather a problem with the delivery service. I sympathize with the staff as they have to use a small handheld device to check if prescriptions are in stock, which seems like a time-consuming issue. Despite always being busy, they make an effort to maintain a positive attitude. Much appreciated, everyone!

I frequent this pharmacy often. I pick up medications for myself and my husband's CMS PRESCRIPTION, as well as other items for his home care needs. I can call and talk to the staff to inquire about and discuss different medications. They are always helpful and offer a sympathetic ear. I would highly recommend this pharmacy to anyone in need of pharmaceutical assistance.

The pharmacist was dreadfully unprofessional! The staff also made me feel incredibly awkward. It was a dreadful experience, I shan't be returning. It's simply a shame how they can escape with treating folks in such a manner. 😑
