I am utterly appalled by the recent experience at this Pharmacy! I have been a loyal customer for years, until this new individual, Alison Williamson, took over. As someone with a high-risk pregnancy who has undergone IVF, I relied on purchasing aspirin and paracetamol throughout my journey, as they were only £1 after the initial prescription. However, tonight I was informed that I couldn't have either, and was even advised against taking paracetamol while pregnant - which is the only thing I'm supposed to take! Now, I am left without aspirin for tonight and feeling incredibly stressed because of her unpleasant attitude. I have decided not to return and will be filing a formal complaint against her. She is a truly dreadful person! So disrespectful!
I was inquiring about eye drops for relief from pink eye. The mystical lady, who I could picture being at home by a bubbling cauldron, advised me to simply rinse my eye with tap water. Not the solution I was looking for, but I appreciated the suggestion nonetheless.
The pharmacist was extremely helpful and provided excellent service. I would highly recommend their expertise to anyone in need of medications or health advice.
The former pharmacist was top-notch, while the new one leaves a lot to be desired.
I inquired about medication for nausea and was informed it required a prescription, exclusively for managing migraines. I was essentially barred from obtaining it and even subjected to ridicule for my pronunciation of the medication's name.
Upon seeking assistance elsewhere, I discovered that it is actually an over-the-counter medication available for various conditions, not just migraines.
It has become evident to me that she frequently exhibits rudeness and condescension towards individuals requesting prescriptions, and her interactions with both staff and patients are quite appalling.
I popped into the pharmacy yesterday and had a chat with a really friendly chap. I described my symptoms, he took a look, verified my information in the system, and just like that, I was set up with a prescription. The staff were lovely and the pharmacy was spotless. But what really stood out for me was how fast and efficient everything was. Definitely deserving of a 5-star rating!
Extremely helpful and prompt in assisting you with whatever you may need
The staff here are so friendly and accommodating. The store is absolutely spotless!
If you're constantly too busy and customers are left waiting, perhaps consider hiring more staff! Having to come back and being informed that the medication isn't available, but will be in tomorrow when you're closed, is very frustrating. Thank you for causing me to go without my mental health medication for days. If something were to happen to me because of your inadequate service, the responsibility would fall on you.
I popped into the pharmacy for some help with my swollen tonsils, but the older lady pharmacist didn't even take a glance at them. The previous male pharmacist I saw was much more professional and friendly when I visited with my son, so I have to give him credit for that. Overall, I would rate my experience as 2 stars, mainly because of his excellent service.
Would rate this establishment a solid 0 stars if it were possible to do so. My experience was marred by the unprofessionalism, hostility, and utter lack of cleanliness displayed by the Practice Manager, Alison Williamson. Following her refusal to provide my mother with her medication on a previous visit, she proceeded to lose my mother's prescription and feigned difficulty in reading and pronouncing her name in an apparent attempt to avoid fulfilling the prescription. Fortunately, my mother had retained half of the prescription from the prior day, complete with the necessary details. Despite this, Alison Williamson opted to confiscate this half, dispense the medication, and then flat-out refused to return the original half to my mother, claiming it had been misplaced. Such disregard for the well-being and trust of vulnerable individuals is completely unacceptable.
I would honestly give it 0 stars if I had the chance. This is the second occasion where the pharmacist has provided inaccurate medical guidance. Thankfully, my mother was able to receive the correct cream she needed with the help of her GP and another pharmacy.
The entire staff is absolutely lovely.
For some reason, they couldn't locate my baby's information in their system, so I wasn't able to get any complimentary Calpol or other medications, and had to purchase them instead. Fortunately, when I visited another pharmacy, they provided those items at no cost.
This has been by far the worst experience I've had at a pharmacy. I went in to inquire about getting an eye drop for my son's hay fever, and instead, they gave me a liquid medicine. The lady at the counter then proceeded to rudely tell me to leave with my kids. I've never experienced such hostility towards children before. When I returned half an hour later to request the eye drop once more, the girl claimed I never asked for one initially. Eventually, she came out with my prescription which she had kept from me, despite seeing me waiting. She then went back inside the shop for another ten minutes, chatting and laughing with her colleague. They both looked at me, laughed, and only then did she finally give me the prescription bag. I try not to judge people, but their behavior was truly awful and appeared to be racially motivated. There used to be a kind lady working there, but things have changed since the new girl arrived. I hope that better management takes over this place soon.
I've been using this pharmacy for around 5 years now, and I must say it's been absolutely brilliant. The team is incredibly friendly and helpful. Sure, there may be some who don't see eye to eye with me on this, but let's be real - everyone deserves a bit of patience, especially when things get hectic. In my personal experience, the service has always been top-notch, and I've never encountered any issues whatsoever.
