Discovering LloydsPharmacy in Glasgow: A Quick Visit

If you're in Glasgow and in need of pharmaceutical services, LloydsPharmacy is a popular choice. This pharmacy aims to cater to the diverse needs of its customers while maintaining accessibility and a welcoming environment.

Service Options and Accessibility

LloydsPharmacy offers a range of service options including in-store shopping, delivery, and in-store pick-up. Despite some reviews indicating busy periods, the staff are often noted for their resilience. The pharmacy features a wheelchair-accessible entrance, making it easier for everyone to access medications and health products.

Payment Methods

Convenience in payments is essential. At LloydsPharmacy, customers can use various payment methods including credit cards, debit cards, and even NFC mobile payments. This flexibility allows for quick and hassle-free transactions during your visit.

LGBTQ+ Friendly Space

LloydsPharmacy proudly identifies as a transgender safe space, promoting an inclusive atmosphere for the LGBTQ+ community. This commitment helps ensure that all customers feel comfortable and respected while accessing necessary services.

Community Feedback on Service

While many customers appreciate the friendly demeanor of the staff, several reviews highlight the challenges faced during busy hours. Comments suggest that the pharmacy can become chaotic, impacting wait times significantly. Many patrons experienced delays, with some reporting waits of over 20 minutes for service. One customer remarked on the crowd present during peak hours, noting the staff's effort to remain professional despite the pressure. Another customer mentioned that while they were told prescriptions would be ready in 48 hours, the communication could be improved regarding planning and service availability.

Room for Improvement

Feedback indicates that while LloydsPharmacy has friendly and helpful staff, long wait times and unclear communication about operating hours and services can lead to customer dissatisfaction. Some patrons have reported frustration after arriving shortly before closing time without receiving their medications. Moreover, the pharmacy's online presence may not always accurately reflect current service options, leading to confusion during visits.

Conclusion

In summary, LloydsPharmacy in Glasgow serves as a vital local resource, providing prescription services and healthcare products to its community. While there are notable strengths in customer service and an inclusive environment, there's room for improvement in handling busy periods and ensuring clear communication. For anyone needing pharmaceutical assistance, a quick visit to LloydsPharmacy might still be worth considering, keeping in mind the importance of patience during peak hours.

Just popped into the new pharmacy down the road and it's absolutely lovely. The layout is fantastic and the staff were so helpful. Will definitely be coming back!
Harper Myers (18/07/2025, 15:15):
Great range of toiletries, cosmetics, and vitamins.
Bruce Taylor (17/07/2025, 18:33):
The team at this pharmacy is truly fantastic! The head honcho is particularly outstanding, always going above and beyond to inspire me with his great personality. The rest of the staff are just as friendly and helpful.
Carol Taylor (16/07/2025, 08:16):
The staff at this pharmacy are simply amazing. I was truly impressed by their resilience today. Some random guy came in and started swearing at them (definitely needs to get that checked out), but they remained calm and professional throughout the whole ordeal. Nobody should have to deal with that kind of behavior. Kudos to these ladies, they were exceptional.
James Gomez (15/07/2025, 19:34):
I've been trying to reach them for the 51st time today but no luck getting through.
Kathleen Morgan (04/07/2025, 19:48):
I popped in for a flu shot at this pharmacy so that I could use the flu vouchers provided by my employer. The team there was really friendly and helpful.
Patrick Watson (03/07/2025, 02:50):
Top-notch service and the staff are extremely helpful, I must say.
George Campbell (27/06/2025, 14:15):
I must say, I found it quite peculiar that they are selling products in their physical store for a higher price than what is listed on their website. They do offer a click and collect service, which adds to the confusion. For example, I noticed that a 200g Nivea product was priced at 1.99 on their website (at the time of my visit), yet was being sold for 2.99 in the store. Initially, I assumed it was an honest mistake and they honored the online price when I brought it to their attention. However, upon returning a week later to purchase more, I encountered the same issue. Their excuse that they were "waiting for labels" seemed rather feeble to me. It appeared more like a strategy to take advantage of customers who may not have checked the online prices. This behavior strikes me as deceptive on the part of the company.
Andrea Ward (27/06/2025, 05:25):
This pharmacy is absolutely fabulous! They have a wide range of products and the store is well-lit and inviting.
Christine Butler (26/06/2025, 21:42):
I had a dreadful experience at this pharmacy. There were at least four staff members in the rear, with one attending to a woman's prescription and another nearby handling slips and small baskets. I waited to make a purchase for 15 minutes (no exaggeration) completely ignored. Finally, I had to raise my voice to get their attention and inquire if anyone was available to assist me. The staff member nearby let out a loud sigh as he set down his small baskets and sluggishly walked over, reminiscent of a disgruntled teenager. He didn't acknowledge me, keeping his head down and remaining silent as he quickly processed my items at the checkout. I made a sarcastic remark about apologizing for interrupting him, to which he mumbled a half-hearted "s'alright."

Later that day, I visited the Boots pharmacy further down the road. Despite the staff initially being engaged in conversation in the back, someone promptly came out and served me while being friendly and sociable. This experience was far superior to the previous one, highlighting the need for immediate customer service training at the first pharmacy.
Amber Edwards (26/06/2025, 17:10):
Impolite pharmacist. Seems like she doesn't usually work at this branch, which is quite a relief.
Thomas Phillips (26/06/2025, 15:48):
If you decide to visit this place, be ready for an extensive wait as there is only one person managing all customers.
Jean Kim (25/06/2025, 16:42):
At yonder Pharmacy, all thy prescriptions art ready in but 10 minutes. The staff is most helpful and cooperative, verily.
Albert Ortiz (23/06/2025, 08:55):
After arranging for childcare to pick up my medication, I arrived at the pharmacy only to find out they open after 14:00, despite Google stating otherwise. I returned around 16:00 after making childcare arrangements once more, only to discover a sign indicating they do not accept walk-in prescriptions! Why isn't this information provided on their website??

Their website clearly states that walk-ins are accepted for prescriptions!
Angela Reed (21/06/2025, 10:40):
I went to the Pharmacy today, but surprisingly it was closed when the signs indicated it should have been open. This was quite frustrating as I had specifically made the trip there to pick up some much-needed medication. Hopefully, they will have better consistency with their operating hours in the future.
Jose Reyes (20/06/2025, 07:37):
The staff are ever so friendly, but there tends to be a bit of a wait, usually around 20 minutes.
Richard Hernandez (18/06/2025, 23:25):
Had the pharmacy open from 12pm to 2pm but couldn't help customers as I was on my lunch break. Should have just closed the shop and updated the hours on Google. I even mentioned that I needed the medication urgently or else I'd have to wait until tomorrow, but there was a total lack of empathy shown. Truly terrible service.
Roger Howard (18/06/2025, 00:05):
The staff at this pharmacy was absolutely fantastic and so helpful. They went above and beyond to assist me with all of my needs. I highly recommend this pharmacy for anyone looking for excellent service and knowledgeable staff. A+++
Edward Baker (17/06/2025, 23:24):
The staff here are so friendly and helpful. It can get absolutely mental around 4 o'clock, but then again, which pharmacy doesn't? I'm chuffed I chose this chemist for picking up my meds every week. Cheers!
Ryan Watson (16/06/2025, 19:55):
The personnel are delightful, but regrettably, the waiting times have extended beyond 15/20 minutes. Currently, one must anticipate a 2-day period for the prescription to reach the pharmacy from the GP, followed by a further 2-day wait for the medication. Lloyds should address this issue promptly as it seems to be a recurring problem in numerous of their local pharmacies.
An amendment to my assessment is that this pharmacy shuts for lunch and closes its shutters at 5:30. This does not bother me if Lloyds could ensure they provide accurate online information regarding their operating hours and the limitations of services available at this location, such as not accepting walk-in prescriptions.
