In-Store Services

Well Pharmacy is known for its in-store shopping experience. A few patrons expressed frustration over delays and issues with medication availability, leading to significant inconvenience.

Delivery and Efficiency Concerns

Several customers mentioned instances where prescriptions were either not ready or not stocked adequately, resulting in unnecessary trips and delays. One customer remarked on the unprofessionalism and disorganization, stating they wasted hours trying to obtain necessary medications.

Crowd Management and Service Quality

I must say I am quite displeased with the service I received. My prescriptions were sent from the doctor to the chemist, but upon realizing that the chemist would be closed on Friday, I called on Wednesday to inquire about my controlled painkillers. I informed them that I would run out before the weekend, and they assured me I could pick them up after 2pm on Thursday.

However, when I went to collect my painkillers on Thursday, they did not have them in stock and advised me to take my prescription to another chemist. I ended up visiting two different chemists only for the last one to inform me that my prescription had already been dispensed. I informed them that it was supposed to be canceled.

Now, I find myself without my painkillers and unable to resolve this issue until you are open again. This situation has caused quite a bit of distress and inconvenience.

I absolutely detest this establishment. Those with the means to shop elsewhere would never set foot in this place. The staff is the most incompetent I have ever encountered, inventing rules on the spot and treating customers like dirt. The behavior I have witnessed and been informed of is simply appalling. I urge you to opt for Boots or any other pharmacy besides this one.
Sarah Martin (03/07/2025, 16:47):
I must say, I was absolutely appalled. The customer service at this establishment was simply dreadful - so rude, and more interested in their own meals in the back than attending to the customers patiently waiting in line. To top it off, none of the 5 medications prescribed to me were in stock! Not even a simple nasal spray. This has got to be the most abysmal pharmacy I have ever encountered!
Jordan Sanders (30/06/2025, 21:12):
Absolutely dreadful service. They consistently claim to not have received prescriptions, despite them being faxed over by doctors. This has happened repeatedly for years, not just once. They refuse to handle emergency prescriptions if it's close to closing time. The staff are incredibly unfriendly and unhelpful, with the exception of a few.

I'm relieved to have switched pharmacies. Most of the staff seem ill-suited for customer-facing roles due to their terrible attitude. If I could give them zero stars, I would.
Evelyn Alexander (27/06/2025, 03:38):
The staff at this pharmacy are incredibly helpful and dedicated. They really go above and beyond in their work and deserve to be compensated more for their efforts. They are on the front lines just like our nurses and doctors, and their hard work should be recognized and rewarded accordingly.
Grace Sanders (25/06/2025, 19:05):
The male pharmacist seemed a tad brusque.
Beverly Graham (24/06/2025, 07:18):
I just want to express my gratitude to the amazing staff at the pharmacy. I called about an issue with my child's school uniform, and the lady there was so kind and helpful. I am in Glasgow and couldn't reach the store by phone or email, but she offered to go to the shop and pass on my message. A big thank you to them for their wonderful assistance!
Aaron Simmons (20/06/2025, 09:06):
Oh, what a delightful experience I had at the pharmacy! The staff was so cheerful and ready to assist. One day, I wasn't feeling quite right, and the pharmacy team noticed. The pharmacist even came out to check if I was okay, but my taxi had arrived. It was heartwarming to see them looking out for me until I left for home. I truly appreciate their care and attention. There might be moments when they are busy and you have to wait a bit, but we must understand that they are working as swiftly as possible. Keep up the good work, ladies!
Ruth Carter (09/06/2025, 17:37):
The team at this pharmacy is simply splendid and incredibly effective. If an issue arises, they will promptly inform you and provide various solutions. They are more than willing to verify if any medication available in-store could potentially interact with your current prescriptions. I have never encountered a more exceptional group of individuals.
Anna Foster (08/06/2025, 15:09):
I shall not be frequenting this pharmacy again. The staff are rather impertinent and lack proficiency, making minimal effort to aid in obtaining medications that others can readily provide. If I could, I would rate it with zero stars.
Kelly Kelly (06/06/2025, 19:04):
The team is so friendly and always keeps us informed when we need to stock up on new items.
Patrick Walker (06/06/2025, 04:36):
I rang up to check if my lad's prescription had been dispatched by his doctor's office as it should've arrived a few days back. The woman who picked up was rather curt and impolite, informing me that she was swamped with work and short of staff, and wouldn't look into it for me at that moment! My boy requires his meds!
Joseph Coleman (05/06/2025, 22:34):
I've had a few minor issues with this pharmacy, but I must say the staff are fantastic and really know their stuff. It does get quite busy at times, so if you don't mind a little wait, then you'll be alright.
Gary Peterson (05/06/2025, 06:07):
The staff at this pharmacy is just lovely. They are always willing to help and provide great customer service. A+++ for their friendliness!
Diane King (30/05/2025, 22:08):
It would be a real disappointment if it were possible. Once again, I find myself at this pharmacy waiting for a long time to be served, only to discover that my prescriptions are not ready, not in stock, or at another branch. There have been several mix-ups with my husband's prescription since last week, and when I picked up mine yesterday, I was not informed that it was incomplete and would be available today. We both work and don't have the time to chase after these issues. To make matters worse, they prioritize people with appointments, who can sit around all day, while the rest of us suffer. This is unacceptable. I will be raising this matter with my MSP because something needs to be done to ensure that those of us who pay national insurance contributions receive better service, especially from this particular branch. After this experience, I have decided that I will not be returning to this pharmacy. The service provided here is truly lacking.
Matthew Williams (30/05/2025, 08:33):
These employees were absolutely useless. I shall be going somewhere else for my health needs.
Emily Henderson (28/05/2025, 23:39):
The pharmacy is absolute rubbish. Incredibly inefficient! They either don't have the medication I need in stock or I have to wait ages for it to arrive. I had a terrible encounter with the new cocky manager. I had to brave dreadful weather just to collect my son's essential medication, which should have been ready when I picked up the new prescription. And to make matters worse, they overlooked another item that was also prescribed, so I had to go without important medication. Their system must be faulty if they can't get their customers' prescriptions right. Needless to say, I won't be going back to this pharmacy again. I've cancelled my prescription with them and moved on. Should have done it years ago!
