I would have to leave zero stars if that option were available. The lady at the counter this morning made my partner cry after entering to inquire about calpol for our 10-month-old daughter and to seek advice from the pharmacist regarding a rash on her skin, only to have the lady snidely remark, "excessive use of calpol can lead to ADHD and autism in children," without any provocation. I might have grasped her point if we were frequent visitors requesting calpol, but we had never purchased calpol from that pharmacy before.

The staff was incredibly rude and unhelpful.

I must say, the service is rather lacking, with interminable waits. Waiting 45 minutes to collect a prescription with only 3 people ahead of me in the queue seems excessive. This seems to be a recurring issue. The pharmacy points fingers at the surgery, while the surgery redirects blame to the pharmacy. I understand we are 18 months into the COVID outbreak and this has undoubtedly impacted services, but it appears that other pharmacies manage to avoid the 10-12 person queues.

My significant other recently received medication from this pharmacy, and it turned out to be twice the prescribed dose. It's fortunate that the situation didn't pose a life-threatening risk, although it very well could have.

I was put in an uncomfortable position at the checkout with others around, having to discuss a sensitive issue that they were already aware of due to written notes. Instead of offering a private conversation, the embarrassing topic was brought up publicly, and a diagnosis was given without any actual examination. Interestingly enough, the diagnosis turned out to be completely incorrect.

I would recommend steering clear of this place if possible, although options are quite limited in this area.

Recently relocated to Mintlaw and I must say, everyone has been absolutely lovely, especially the pharmacy staff. They are doing a fantastic job, especially during these challenging times with COVID. It's important to remember that it's not just doctors and nurses, but also pharmacy staff who are working tirelessly. Kudos to everyone involved!

Absolutely scandalous. I am now having to order my prescriptions two weeks in advance because they take so long to process, and even then they are still often incorrect. We have begun to gather our prescriptions whenever possible and take them to other pharmacies.

I 'ave to say, the new textin' service ain't workin' properly. Twice now we 'ave received a text on separate occasions claimin' our prescription is ready for pick up, only to drive over and find out it ain't ready yet. What's the point of this service if it ain't makin' things simpler for customers and staff? Clearly, somethin' ain't right. Waitin' in line for 'alf an hour just to be told it ain't in can be frustratin'. The staff are always pleasant, but this new text service needs some sortin' out.

The pharmacy has been receiving some negative reviews in the past. However, over the last year, there has been a noticeable improvement. About a year ago, things were quite chaotic, but the store has since been organized and is operating much more efficiently now.

I had to cancel my at-home medication delivery due to the lack of support from this pharmacy. It was taking 2-3 weeks for my medication to arrive after placing an order, with no notifications about the delivery schedule. The medication was incorrect on multiple occasions, and the last straw was when I received someone else's prescription for HIV and AIDS medication. The delivery driver entered my home without proper authorization and left such sensitive medication inside, despite me not needing it. I have lost all trust in this pharmacy due to these incidents of incorrect and delayed prescriptions.

UPDATE 29/4/2025: I started experiencing severe side effects, including hair loss, inability to leave my home, and constant vomiting. When I called the pharmacy about my medications, they informed me that they would no longer deliver to me following my complaint and review. What a great team they are.

Update 2/5/2025: The pharmacy confirmed that they would indeed cease delivering my medications as a result of my negative review. I have now switched to a new pharmacy, and I am pleased with this resolution as I never felt comfortable relying on the previous pharmacy. It's concerning that they would restrict my medication deliveries simply because I shared my honest feedback about their service.
