I'd give 0 stars if I could because the staff member who assisted me today was the rudest person I've ever encountered! I walked in to browse their perfumes, wanting to try something different they hadn't brought in before. I waited for this staff member to become available as she was currently behind the counter in the pharmacy area attending to something at the time. I patiently waited at the register for a few minutes when finally the staff member yelled, "Are you waiting to be served?" I explained I'd like to see the perfumes and she responded by asking me to wait a moment. Absolutely no problem. Moments later, she took the cabinet key and we walked towards the perfumes. It was then that she became very rude and made me feel like I was a huge inconvenience to her! She was not happy to help me at all. I asked if I could smell/try different perfumes to decide which one I'd like to buy. She didn't open the cabinet doors until I told her which one I wanted. I explained I didn't know until I smelled them. She said it made no sense to spray more than 2 or 3 because it would affect the scent and be too overpowering. The way she spoke to me made me tell her to forget it, and I left to buy perfume elsewhere. I have visited Boots in Cannock, where they have displayed perfume testers and scent strips for people to smell the fragrance and allow them to choose which one they'd like to buy, so I will never step foot in the Boots Rugeley store again! Very rude and unhelpful staff member. I wish I had known her name, but she was working this morning, Saturday shift on June 3rd, around 10:30 a.m.
