Just had a hearty breakfast, but sadly most of it was quite hard and stale. The only exception was the eggs, which were made fresh to order.
Jordan Foster (15/08/2025, 13:51):
No electric car charging points available, which is quite disappointing. The car park is absolutely filthy, with rubbish scattered in the surrounding landscaping. Prices are quite high compared to other supermarket chains, and the rice at the sushi bar is consistently undercooked.
Paul Morgan (13/08/2025, 22:09):
The staff at this establishment are always pleasant and accommodating. Kim, in particular, was an absolute delight to converse with this evening.
Margaret Cox (10/08/2025, 04:44):
If you’re planning to display a Google Reviews QR code at your checkout counters, it’s essential to complement it with top-notch customer service.

Today during lunch rush, I found myself in line with only one staff member at the counter and three others seemingly busy but not assisting. Consequently, the line extended all the way into the Asda store.

This level of service is simply not acceptable.

I was absolutely gobsmacked yesterday after popping into the ladies' loo at your store, it was absolutely filthy! Half of the loos weren't flushing, some cubicles were running out of loo roll, and in others, the roll was jammed in so tightly you couldn't even peel a sheet off. And don't even get me started on the state of the floor—it looked like it hadn't seen a mop in ages. Come on, The Jewel, take a page from Asda Dunbar's book, their toilets are always spick and span. 5 stars for them! Cheers!

Hello there, me and my mum were at your store yesterday, and my mum got accosted by 2 security guards. I thought you only needed one security guard per customer to explain what was happening. When the security guards approached my mum, the alarm went off, and neither of them did anything.

The staff at this supermarket are quite efficient and friendly, not to mention the competitive prices and quality merchandise. However, I can't seem to warm up to the store itself. It feels rather untidy and oppressive, with an illogical layout and an overwhelming number of self-service tills. Apologies, Asda, but it seems like you might be falling short in providing a pleasant shopping experience due to these shortcomings.

A couple of moons ago, I found myself facing an accusation of being under the influence at 11 in the morning... When I explained to a supervisor that I have a disability and the meds I take can sometimes affect my stability, my words fell on deaf ears. The very next day, the same scenario played out despite me presenting my disability card and medical evidence... They even claimed they could detect alcohol on my breath, a blatant falsehood. I've never faced discrimination for my disability before, let alone from a store...

Out of sheer curiosity, I quizzed seven of them if they had ever been on holiday and entered a store post-consumption of alcohol or perhaps had a drink at the pub before shopping. The response? Seven resounding "no's." 🤔

I'm currently in the process of seeking legal counsel for this matter, but I've been warned that it's an uphill battle... I anticipate receiving the same standard computer-generated response as everyone else...

This spacious Asda store boasts ample parking and a range of convenient amenities.
Aaron Watson (31/07/2025, 09:56):
Scampi and chips with peas for a mere 5 quid. The café boasts a tidy and charming ambiance, the staff are ever so friendly, and the gents' loo is quite proper. The scampi was a tad on the well-done side, making it a bit of a challenge to spear with a fork, but not too shabby otherwise. Though pricier than Morrisons, the café's charm and speedy service make up for it. Cheers!
Grace Graham (30/07/2025, 13:32):
I was gutted when I popped by the Supermarket at 9pm on a Saturday, only to find it shut. It's a shame they're not open 24 hours!
Riley Gutierrez (30/07/2025, 10:43):
This store has all the things you need in one spot, absolutely brilliant!
Joseph Morgan (30/07/2025, 02:37):
I ventured into the ladies' toilets and was appalled by their state of filth. I brought this issue to a manager's attention and even showed him a photo of the unsanitary conditions I encountered. He assured me that he would contact the cleaner, but to my dismay, no action was taken during the 15 minutes I spent with my daughter enjoying a sandwich. I have been raising concerns about these toilets for nearly two years now. I even had a conversation with the store manager, Collette, who claimed that the facilities were regularly checked. However, based on my recent experience, it seems impossible that they have been inspected as they were filthy with dirt buildup everywhere. This lack of concern is unacceptable, as it appears that they believe it is appropriate for customers to use such deplorable toilets. The accompanying photo depicts the discomforting sight I walked into.
Joseph Reynolds (29/07/2025, 14:30):
The older lady at the customer service desk can be a bit brusque and sassy, and it's always a bit of a mystery which self-serve section is actually open when I pop in later in the evening. You end up doing a bit of a hokey-cokey dance back and forth! Plus, if you need a hand getting an item approved, there's hardly any staff around to lend a hand.
Brenda Gonzalez (23/07/2025, 16:44):
The pizza counter is a complete shambles, always short-staffed and with no ready-made stock available. You end up waiting a good 30 to 40 minutes just for your pizza to be prepared, and sometimes you're not even in the store that long! I've raised this issue directly with Asda, and they've promised to make improvements, but I've yet to see any changes. While I understand they want to avoid wastage from unsold pizzas, surely they can anticipate popular orders and have some pre-made to speed up the process.
Vincent Perez (23/07/2025, 05:39):
The staff at this Supermarket are always so helpful and polite, I must say. However, one thing that really grinds my gears is the lack of stock availability, especially on fresh food special offers, when I pop in during the late afternoon after work. It seems like the shelves are only replenished overnight and not during the day. This issue could potentially be costing you a significant amount of sales. I used to do my entire weekly shop at this store, but now I fear it's more likely to be just the essentials like bread and milk.
James Thompson (22/07/2025, 14:43):
Roll back is making a comeback.. It's still my favorite for the weekly grocery shopping.
Gabriel Barnes (20/07/2025, 22:13):
This store is absolutely brilliant, mate! They've got a post office, a cozy little café, and a shoe section that's top-notch. But the real winner here is the creche facility they've got going on. Parents can drop off their little ones to have a blast in the soft play area instead of dragging them through the aisles during their grocery run. It really eases the pressure of shopping and it won't break the bank either, as all the staff are fully trained. Hats off to Asda for considering parents and their kids by offering this service.
Arthur Collins (14/07/2025, 11:01):
This ASDA is massive! It's packed with all the items you're familiar with, adore, and anticipate. Definitely worth a visit for a speedy shopping trip or larger hauls depending on your requirements.
Christine Parker (14/07/2025, 00:44):
This supermarket is absolutely massive and fully stocked. I must say, it's quite handy being open round the clock. The prices are fair and they offer an extensive selection of food items to cater to every whim.
