Andrea Clark (09/06/2025, 07:32):
I've been isolating due to illness and fall into the high-risk category, so I was placed on the priority shopping list. Initially, they were offering these slots for free or at a reduced price, but they have gradually increased to £3.50 - £4, which is the standard cost for a one-hour slot. I usually spend over £100 on groceries, so it lasts me a while. However, my last slot cost me £3.50, but the time frame given is from 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm. If you're unwell or disabled, you typically go to bed before 10 pm. Additionally, there's a limit of 95 items in your basket, like three baguettes for £1 counted as three items, which no other store does. Tesco's food quality is good, but issues like these are where they and I feel let down.
Gary King (08/06/2025, 17:08):
I stopped by on my way home from work tonight at 10:20 PM. I entered and started browsing, picking up a few items. After about 10 minutes, a staff member informed me that they were closed. I pointed out that there were no closed signs at the open door, but she not so kindly insisted that there were. I left the items and exited the store. To my surprise, I couldn't find any signs outside.

I decided to go back in and asked another staff member about the signs. She checked and mentioned that they were on the other door and the opening hours billboard, which had been there for months. Fair enough, but here's the kicker - there are TWO doors, and the one near the cash machines had no signs or notices at all. When I made a complaint, I was told, and I quote, "I can't put signs everywhere." Poor customer service on your part.
