I had a really dreadful experience and vowed never to return to this store, but I ended up stopping by in a rush. I was treated so terribly that I decided to leave my items in the cart and head over to Superdrug across the street, where the staff are much friendlier and attentive.

The pharmacy is a bit on the small side and not very efficient, to be honest. It can get a bit chaotic with no clear order, and people tend to jump the queue or just linger at the counter waiting for prescriptions. It's all a bit disorganized, really. And let's not forget, their prices are quite high and their own brands are of rather poor quality.

I was on the hunt for a generic or Boots brand alternative to a popular product. I approached Helen at the checkout and she promptly escorted me to the exact item I was looking for. Despite a hiccup with the discount not registering when I scanned my (vintage) Advantage card, Helen quickly inputted the card number manually and solved the issue. She even suggested informing other Boots colleagues of this workaround for future transactions. Helen's assistance was not only helpful and friendly but also very customer-oriented. Although the discount amount was small, her effort to ensure I received it was greatly appreciated. Thank you once again, Helen!

I must say I had quite a baffling experience today at the beauty supply store. I popped in around 3:30 in search of my usual pharmacy items and was met with rather poor customer service. To begin with, the lady attending to me was not wearing a mask and failed to offer any sort of greeting. When I provided my name, she proceeded to muddle it up entirely... nowhere near close to what I had said. After correcting her, she tersely claimed not to understand me and needed to double-check my prescriptions.

I can't fathom what I may have done to warrant such a brusque manner of speaking. It's my belief that if employees are grappling with personal issues, they ought not to let it spill over onto customers. This incident left me feeling quite disheartened, especially considering my previously pleasant experiences at this store.

The employees at this establishment are quite pleasant. However, I find it disconcerting to be constantly monitored by the security guard as if I were a criminal. At every corner I turn, he is either following closely behind or lingering nearby. What he fails to realize is that such surveillance tactics are highly intimidating and make me feel incredibly uneasy. As a woman, I am always on alert, particularly when a male presence is shadowing my movements. This marks my second visit to this store, and regrettably, due to the behavior of the security guard, it will be my last. It is reassuring to know that I am not alone in experiencing this discomfort, as echoed in another review. Despite being a law-abiding taxpayer, I am appalled that such invasive monitoring is permitted. Should this unwarranted behavior occur for a third time, I cannot guarantee how I will react.

As a loyal customer to this pharmacy for many years, I must say that it has become my go-to place for all my beauty supply needs. Although the selection of products is decent, the store's size is a bit lacking for its location on the main shopping street. I find it quite surprising that Boots did not seize the opportunity to move into the old Woolworths site, now occupied by Tesco. The current setup of combining two small stores is not very appealing and leads to congestion and poor customer traffic flow. Additionally, collecting prescriptions can be a bit of a hassle. Nevertheless, the staff members are always friendly and helpful, which makes the overall experience more pleasant.

This spot is my go-to Boots store, and I pop in quite often, so I can only sing its praises.

I’m a regular at the pharmacy here, as I have several prescriptions to fill. The pharmacy team, especially Abbia, the current pharmacist, are top-notch and really know their stuff.

I also collect many of my online orders from this store, and the staff are consistently friendly and on point with their service.

Just wanted to give a big thank you for the excellent work you all do.

This shop is absolutely brilliant! Even during the pandemic, they continued to provide exceptional service. Whether you need something from the beauty counter or the pharmacy, this store is a delight to visit. I must give a special shoutout to the pharmacy team - over the years, some have moved on while others have been promoted, but the consistency in high standards remains. The staff is patient, caring, and incredibly knowledgeable. In my opinion, this Boots store is exceptionally well-managed.
