In-store Experiences and Service Options

While the store itself offers an extensive range of health and beauty products, many customers have voiced concerns regarding the pharmacy section. Searched high and low for this particular medical item I required. Ended up in Kirkcaldy and popped into Boots the Chemist where I managed to find it with ease. The staff were incredibly helpful in this pristine, well-lit store. It will definitely be my go-to place from now on.
Ralph Peterson (17/08/2025, 08:43):
I must say, quite disappointed this year with the beauty supply store. The prices are sky-high as usual, yet the products remain the same. To make matters worse, I hadn't swiped my card since the beginning of Covid, only to find out that I had lost all my hard-earned points. Absolutely gutted about that, I must confess.
Sophia Anderson (17/08/2025, 00:14):
Ah, everyone is familiar with Boots, isn't it? They offer a vast array of products for all your self-grooming needs, from head to toe, including medicines to address various health concerns. They have an extensive selection of beauty and baby products available. Additionally, they have a fantastic team of medical experts on hand to assist with any health issues. It's imperative that we continue to support this shop as losing it would be a great loss. We will surely regret it, mark my words.
Amelia Myers (13/08/2025, 19:56):
After waiting in line for ages to pick up my prescription, they informed me that they did not have the inhaler I required. I had to return two days later to collect it, only to discover that it was the incorrect inhaler. I was truly unimpressed. Additionally, I found the demeanor of the female staff member who assisted me to be quite lacking. Subsequently, I visited another pharmacy in town and they were outstanding, treating me with respect and not talking down to me.
Terry Martin (12/08/2025, 11:32):
I must say, this beauty supply store is always so serene and impeccably maintained for COVID safety measures. However, I do find the prices to be a tad on the higher side. On the bright side, they were incredibly helpful with my prescription needs.
Sean Ross (11/08/2025, 19:37):
The staff here are absolutely lovely every time I pop in for a bit of shopping. I just adore this store - it always offers such a wide array of products to choose from.
Abigail Torres (11/08/2025, 01:44):
I popped over to Boots and I must say, the chaps there are quite helpful. But let me tell you, as a chemist myself, it was an absolute circus. I sauntered in on a Thursday, handed over my scrip, and was told it'd be ready in an hour. But when I returned on Friday, they seemed puzzled, thinking I was coming by on Saturday. Good grief! They then said I'd have to wait a bit longer 'cause they needed to order in my bits and bobs. I dashed off to Sainsbury's and came back later, only to learn they hadn't even put in the order yet. Blimey! Had they sorted it out on Thursday, we wouldn't be in this pickle. So off I went again, back and forth, like a game of ping pong, just trying to get my meds. It took 5 days and 6 visits before I finally got everything. Thank the stars none of it was urgent, or I might've found myself in a spot of bother. Best steer clear of the pharmacy, mate, but the rest of the shop is grand, with a jolly good staff.
Emma Reynolds (06/08/2025, 14:22):
This pharmacy's queues for handing in and collecting prescriptions are just dreadful! I thought the wait at the Lloyds on Whytemans Brae was bad, but this place is really giving them a run for their money!
Nancy Gomez (06/08/2025, 09:43):
Great variety of health and beauty products, although prices do tend to be a bit on the higher side. The pharmacy service is a bit sluggish and disorganized, with staff who could benefit from further customer service training.
Lucy Martin (03/08/2025, 13:12):
The staff at the drugstore were so rude and made me feel foolish when I was clearly explaining my prescription to them. Their attitude towards customer service was appalling!
Brandon Morales (30/07/2025, 09:49):
This has to be the worst beauty supply store for service. It's not the first time I've had to wait to purchase products and nobody even acknowledges you. Yesterday, after 10 minutes, I simply left and went to a different store.
Jeffrey Foster (29/07/2025, 08:32):
The store is well-kept, the staff are friendly, but there's a long line at the pharmacy.
Joan Murphy (28/07/2025, 22:06):
The lady at the beauty supply store was so friendly and efficient, she went out of her way to find the perfect product on the shelves that would correspond with my medicated prescription.
Johnny Gray (25/07/2025, 19:51):
Is it too much to ask after ringing from 9am to 3.30pm for just one person to answer the blooming phone.....

What's the point of having a line if no one picks up.
Andrea Scott (24/07/2025, 21:29):
I absolutely loved the sales, but it was such a pity that they closed at 6 because I couldn't purchase the items I had forgotten earlier. The store makes it incredibly easy to locate exactly what you're looking for, offering a wide variety of foundation shades from very fair to deep skin tones. It's a shame they close so early in the day!
Eric Reyes (23/07/2025, 00:18):
It's a jolly big boots, innit? Right there in the retail park, you can practically park right at the doorstep. They sort out prescriptions until 8pm. The head pharmacist is a good sort and the crew generally try to lend a hand instead of making excuses. I'm not overly fussed about the eyeliner or bikini wax kits - but sometimes you just need a proper stash of calpol or a decent cough syrup and everywhere else is shut (Asda always seems a bloomin' trek away - like climbing Everest base camp). Convenient and friendly, all in all.
Joshua Torres (22/07/2025, 17:30):
The staff at the pharmacy are rather slow, there seems to be quite a few of them. They lack politeness and appear unbothered by customers. There is a shortage of floor staff as well. Overall, they are not very helpful or friendly.
Diane Harris (19/07/2025, 22:21):
The store itself was lovely, but I must say the customer service I received during my visit left much to be desired. The staff seemed rather aloof and uninterested in assisting me as I browsed for a specific product. Their attitude made me feel like I was an inconvenience rather than a valued customer. Overall, my experience was disappointing this time around.
Barbara Parker (19/07/2025, 13:26):
Sarah, over at the beauty supply store, was absolutely fantastic. She really went above and beyond to help me out. Her customer service skills were outstanding, and I can't thank her enough for all her assistance!
Louis Richardson (18/07/2025, 10:41):
This beauty supply store is an absolute shambles. It's taking well over a week to receive your order, and they blame it on Covid. However, in the previous town just 6 miles away where I used to live, it only took 48 hours. It's truly baffling.
