I've had experiences with two female doctors at this medical center who seemed uncomfortable when addressing male medical issues.
The first doctor's reaction to a symptom was, "I'm not sure what that is," and the discussion ended there.
The second doctor seemed reluctant to conduct an examination and instead suggested waiting for the results of a blood test. This test was done in 2019, and I'm still awaiting the results.
The last straw was how they handled the extremely poor service from the pharmacy on their premises. I have decided to switch to another medical practice.
Regarding the response about the pharmacy, when the practice declines to issue another prescription to replace the failed attempt at Lloyds, that reflects poorly on the practice.
The brand new, custom-designed facilities have brought this local medical practice right up to date.

I am deeply disappointed in the way this Medical Center operates! They failed to provide me with a prescription and didn't bother to notify me about it. I wasted my time driving here for no good reason at all!

They don't seem to care much about people. I haven't used their services for 2 years and when I tried to schedule an appointment, it was impossible. I don't understand why I have to pay for the NHS when it's so difficult to get an appointment. They told me the doctor would call me, but after that call, I was really disappointed. I suspect I have otitis (an ear problem) but they just mentioned the possibility of a common virus like omicron 😣 It's sad that doctors seem afraid of treating people properly and just prescribe pills like paracetamol, nurofen, ibuprofen to cover the pain without actually healing you.

Despite my previous rating, the next day things got worse for me. Fluid started coming out of my ear and I was in a lot of pain. My husband called the GP again and explained it was an emergency. This time, a different doctor called me back and when I described my symptoms, she asked me to come into the practice. She examined my ear and diagnosed me with a cracked eardrum. This time, the doctor was really helpful in explaining what was happening and provided medication to aid in my recovery.
Such an amazing medical center that truly looks after their patients. After 13 years of battling MS, I was diagnosed with Terminal Cancer. The level of care and attention from the staff has been exceptional, from my doctor calling me weekly to check on my well-being, to the friendly and welcoming front desk staff. I've been to other medical centers in the past, but this one stands out as the best by far.
I must say, my experience at this Medical Center was quite disappointing. The encounter with one of the staff members, Fiona, left much to be desired. When I politely inquired about her name for a complaint form, Fiona's response was rather curt. The doctor also neglected to provide me with a prescription, suggesting that the medicine was inexpensive enough for me to purchase on my own. It's disheartening to see such lackluster service from both the medical center and the pharmacy. Additionally, it's concerning that the owner seems to dismiss the numerous negative reviews without addressing them. Overall, my visit to this facility was far from satisfactory.
I endeavor to steer clear from hospitals and medical practices as much as possible, but recently I had to undergo my 5-yearly medical check-up to renew my heavy goods license. It was quite a surprise to discover that I had high blood pressure, which understandably left me feeling apprehensive. However, I was able to calm down and achieve a decent reading. The new medical center is outstanding, and the staff are incredibly helpful. I would like to express my gratitude to Nurse Thea and Doctor Helen McGuire for their professionalism and for putting me at ease during my visit. Thanks to them, I was able to renew my license for another 5 years. I am very impressed with the revamped practice, and I extend my heartfelt thanks.
A truly efficient medical practice. The reception team is not only pleasant but also extremely helpful when fielding phone calls.
I must say, I have been a loyal patient of this Medical Center for many years now, and I can confidently give them a 5-star rating. The staff and doctors are truly excellent, always providing me with the best care and assistance. No matter the symptom, they have never been a hassle and have always been there to help. I want to extend my gratitude to the entire team for their hard work and dedication. Keep up the great work!
I must say, this Medical Center is absolutely top-notch. I cannot fault the practice in any way. Every member of the team is incredibly friendly and helpful. We are lucky to have the added perk of it being within easy walking distance from our home.

Absolutely brilliant practice all around. Top-notch experience, I must say. Everyone at the practice, from the receptionists to the nurses and GPs, truly makes you feel listened to and valued as a patient. With the NHS staff under tremendous pressure across the nation, it's incredibly refreshing and deeply appreciated to still receive such an exceptional level of care. Thank you for looking after our community so well :)
