When it comes to beauty supply stores, Boots in Livingston stands out as a reliable destination. With a range of service options, including in-store shopping, in-store pick-up, and convenient delivery, this store aims to meet the diverse needs of its customers.

Accessibility and Convenience

One of the key features of Boots is its dedication to accessibility. The store boasts a wheelchair-accessible entrance and a wheelchair-accessible car park, making it easy for everyone to enjoy their shopping experience. A quick visit is hassle-free, allowing customers to navigate the aisles and find what they need without stress.

Payments Made Easy

Boots accepts various payment methods, including credit cards, debit cards, and NFC mobile payments. This flexibility ensures that customers can pay in the way that suits them best, enhancing the overall shopping experience.

The Experience of Shoppers

Feedback from customers reveals a mixed bag of experiences at Boots. Many have praised the excellent customer service; for instance, one customer expressed gratitude towards the optician staff who promptly fixed glasses with a smile – all at no charge. However, other feedback indicates room for improvement, particularly concerning the self-service tills which some find frustrating when they only wish to purchase a few items.

Staff Interactions and Service Options

While many shoppers appreciate the friendly and helpful staff, there are mentions of inconsistency in service quality. One customer experienced rudeness from a staff member, contrasting with other reviews highlighting the attentive assistance provided by pharmacy staff. It’s important to keep an eye on these interactions to ensure everyone leaves satisfied.

A Range of Products

The Boots store in Livingston offers a well-stocked selection of beauty and health products, catering to various customer needs. However, some customers feel that the variety could be improved, especially regarding vegan and cruelty-free products.

Conclusion

Overall, Boots in Livingston is a solid choice for those seeking beauty and health supplies. With a focus on accessibility, payment convenience, and a broad selection of products, it continues to serve the community effectively. However, paying attention to customer service experiences and improving areas like self-service efficiency will further enhance its standing as a top beauty supply store. Whether you need prescription services or beauty essentials, Boots remains a notable option in Livingston.

Always find the staff very helpful. They even had one of the pharmacy team come out with meds when we had no one to pick them up due to a Covid scare. Thank you again!
Carolyn Turner (25/08/2025, 15:30):
Lovely shop, with a great selection of products and the staff are so helpful and friendly!
Gary Brooks (24/08/2025, 17:59):
I 'ad an appointment with the optometrist. The service was top-notch. I was feelin' a bit nervous and anxious, but they gave me a proper examination, scan, checked my peripheral vision, and explained everythin' to me. They really made me feel comfortable, and I can't praise 'em enough.
Angela Johnson (24/08/2025, 17:00):
Just 'ad me flu jab for this year. I booked the appointment online, turned up on time, and was seen on time. Great service from the staff.
Ashley Green (24/08/2025, 00:10):
Impeccably organized and well-stocked store with a tranquil ambiance. The staff is incredibly accommodating and knowledgeable. Don't forget to visit the optical department for anti-fog solutions for your eyeglasses while wearing masks.
Dennis Campbell (22/08/2025, 21:26):
Impressive array of products, tidy and spacious store layout, amiable staff, located in a bustling shopping center so not ideal for quick, grab-and-go visits.
Sandra Collins (21/08/2025, 17:34):
I never really have any bad experiences in stores because I like to treat the retail staff with kindness, knowing that their job can be tough sometimes. However, on this particular occasion, I visited this Boots store to purchase a NYX liquid lipstick.

I was searching for an untouched lipstick as it seemed like other customers had been going through the products. After inspecting the wands to ensure they were clean, I finally found one at the back that was still sealed and took it to the checkout.

The audacity of the staff member was quite amusing! 😂 The young man decided to adopt a condescending tone and asked, "Have you been opening all these lipsticks and trying them on?" I was taken aback and responded, "No, they were already opened. I've been searching for a fresh one since it seems like you haven't been monitoring the makeup counters lately, and clearly, I'm wearing a completely different lipstick shade." (I hadn't even swatched any of them).

The whole interaction was rather rude, and I awkwardly said "thank you" before feeling quite uncomfortable. The staff member didn't respond or even look my way. It left me perplexed, thinking, "What just happened?" 😅

Boots is absolutely top-notch, always so polite and helpful. In-store guidance and support are readily available. I just adore No7 products!
Deborah Clark (19/08/2025, 06:45):
I went to the pharmacy counter to buy some medication that's kept behind the counter. I picked up a card from the shop floor and headed towards the till next to the pharmacy. There was a sign that said, 'Closed for lunch 1-2pm, no behind the counter medicines or pharmacy pickups available.' While I understand that staff need their lunch break, it makes me wonder if there's only one person working or why they don't stagger the lunch breaks. It's frustrating. Many people who use this service might be on their lunch break, so finding a big pharmacy chain closed was quite confusing. Disappointing service from Boots, I must say!
Albert Evans (18/08/2025, 15:18):
I visited Livingston yesterday and was attended by some delightful folks, both young and old. They were chatty and had a smile on their faces. I made a few remarks during my visit. However, things took a turn for the worse when Caroline at Boots barely made eye contact. She seemed grumpy, didn't crack a smile, and was downright rude. If it weren't for the £49 worth of items I needed to purchase, I would have walked out of there.
Ralph Martin (18/08/2025, 07:44):
A rather sizable Boots store, easily accessible within the shopping centre. It carries a diverse range of products catering to all health and beauty requirements. The staff are friendly and exceptionally helpful.
Jason Thompson (18/08/2025, 06:29):
The chaps at the optician's shop were jolly helpful when my wee lad, who is 6 years old, broke his spectacles right before Christmas. They managed to fit us in for an appointment and swiftly ordered a new pair of glasses. Cheers to them!
Grace Reed (15/08/2025, 22:40):
The Boots store is quite vast, offering a wide array of essentials alongside popular makeup and beauty brands. It may not boast an extensive selection of clothing and accessories compared to larger retailers, but it certainly covers all your beauty needs.
Daniel Stewart (15/08/2025, 19:13):
The only reason why I'm not giving a lower rating is because most of the staff at the pharmacy try to be helpful. However, the male pharmacist comes across as unhelpful, dismissive, and arrogant.
Mia Turner (12/08/2025, 04:23):
This store always has a good selection of products.
The majority of the staff members are very friendly.
It's a decently sized Boots compared to others.
Mark Jones (09/08/2025, 13:31):
I recently popped into the store to grab a prescription. The staff was incredibly attentive and always ready to help.
Randy Sullivan (08/08/2025, 11:15):
This store is in dire need of a makeover! They've been carrying the same brands for years, and their prices are way too high compared to competitors like Superdrug. It's disappointing to see that they don't offer any vegan or cruelty-free options either. It's no wonder they're struggling. Perhaps they should bring in someone like Alex Polizzi to turn things around.
Kelly Price (08/08/2025, 10:39):
This store is quite spacious and well organized, making it easy to navigate. While some products may be on the pricier side, it offers a good selection of medical supplies. Keep in mind that gifts for Christmas can add up in cost, so plan accordingly.
Christina Butler (05/08/2025, 06:56):
I wouldn't venture elsewhere for gifts for the missus. Top-notch assortment of aftershaves and fragrances in town. The staff is always jolly and ready to assist. And don't even get me started on the rewards card – a total win-win situation!
Dennis Gray (05/08/2025, 05:20):
In general, it's not as reliable as it used to be. Brexit has definitely had an impact here. Prices are quite high as well.
