Both Toni and Connor were absolutely brilliant today. My husband is disabled and having a tough time. The dog gobbled up his glasses, but thanks to Toni and Connor's expertise, they managed to work their magic by fitting new lenses into frames. I requested an appointment as I had a bleeding in my eye. I was seen within 10 minutes, underwent numerous tests, and was prescribed eye drops. The young gentleman who examined me made me feel at ease with his caring demeanor. The service was excellent.

I say, I happened to be visiting a mate without an appointment, you know, when suddenly I got this pesky foreign body stuck in me eye, right? Blimey, it was proper painful, making me eye all watery and red it was. So, I explained the situation to Farah, a lovely lass, who was ever so understanding and took note of me symptoms and personal details, she did. She goes on to say they were ever so busy, but if I could wait a tick, she'd have a chat with an optician. And wouldn't ya know it, she did just that and said they'd squeeze me in when they could. She takes me number and says she'd give us a bell when a spot opens up. Lo and behold, ten minutes later, me mobile rings and I'm set up for a consultation with Karen. Karen, bless her, explains she couldn't do a full consult but would have a go at figuring out what's up with me eye. She runs a few tests and takes a thorough history, she does. Puts some dye in me eye and finds and removes a wee bit of plastic causing the pain and bother. To top it off, she hands me a wee sample bottle of drops for me eye. Top-notch service, I must say!

We 'ad two opticians takin' care of us and they were both very professional and 'elpful. My 'usband 'ad another eye exam and a decision was made to put new lenses in 'is current frames. All the staff were busy but 'elpful and there's a lovely atmosphere in this 'ere department.

It used to be top-notch, but things went downhill after Boots took over, and the service suffered.
It's shut down now, and all customers have been switched over to the Thistle Centre Boots.
