The staff were ever so helpful and as a first-timer, I felt quite at ease as everyone was ever so friendly. The entire process was rather thorough, all the staff who assisted, including Jordana and another lass whose name escapes me at the moment, were kind and quite skilled at their craft. The optometrist, Karen, was just lovely, incredibly thorough, and took the time to explain everything she was doing. I am ever so pleased I decided to give this place a go after my previous opticians shut down. I've already recommended it to other family members who are also on the lookout for a new opticians.

On the 16th of December, 2024, Gillian was absolutely fantastic, extremely professional, knowledgeable, and adept at elucidating things for me. It was an incredibly comforting encounter. Huge thanks to Gillian for delivering such a superb customer experience.

Fast forward to Friday, the 10th of May. I had an appointment due to an issue with my left eye. Jemma was the Optician who examined my left eye, and she was simply outstanding. I underwent a series of assessments that were explained to me with great professionalism, and the entire process was very reassuring. Chris also conducted an assessment on my eye. All in all, it was a top-notch customer service experience. Big thanks to Jemma and Chris. You folks are the best. Many thanks from Chris Newton. (I will definitely be returning!!)

Quite disorganised.

My first visit had me waiting for an hour before I was seen.

Today, I scheduled another appointment and took the day off to pick up my prescription and glasses. Upon arrival, I was told there was an issue with my appointment and asked to wait while they sorted it out. After 45 minutes, I was told they couldn't see me that day and I needed to reschedule.

Despite having a previous prescription, they suggested I get glasses with the old one, which I declined. I explained that my vision had worsened, but they refused to conduct another eye check. They also wouldn't let me book online but urged me to schedule an appointment to review my prescription.

I've decided to find another optician.

Ana, I can't reply to your message here so I'm providing an update. I'm not seeking a discount; I simply have limited time, and Boots Stirling didn't meet my expectations.

I booked my eye test with Specsavers, and it went smoothly on the designated day. I received my eye tests, assistance in selecting glasses, and ordered two pairs as part of a promotion. A week later, I received my glasses.

The folks at the branch are absolutely lovely. The service is quick and efficient, with a wealth of knowledge to boot. Even those in training give it their all. I haven't come across a team member that I could fault in any way.

I popped into Boots on the 11th of April as I'd been experiencing some bother with my peepers, feeling all gritty and uncomfortable-like. The optician there managed to pluck out three rogue eyelashes and carried out a few other checks too. I must say, that young lad was quite the professional in his dealings.
