Well, I must say that this blog is quite the find for anyone interested in Pharmacy. It covers a wide range of topics and provides valuable insights into the latest trends and developments in the industry. I thoroughly enjoy reading the well-researched articles and informative posts. Keep up the good work! Cheers!
Frustrated. I was in need of cream but was met with refusal at this pharmacy. Amid three consecutive days of heavy snow due to storm Emma, on a Saturday the pharmacist's response to a woman inquiring about Canesten was insensitive. The woman had been on antibiotics for 7 days and had been using a heated seat, yet she was interrogated about her symptoms. When she questioned why she hadn't seen a doctor, and how she knew it was a yeast infection, it felt condescending. As a 35-year-old mother of two, I expected better treatment. My review and advice for this pharmacy? Walk across the road and visit the other one. They understand that you can't overdose on topical cream and provide more supportive service. Truly disappointing experience. Steer clear.
This chemist is a gem! Always well-stocked and efficiently run. You'll rarely wait more than 10 minutes from dropping off your prescription to picking up your meds. The staff are super helpful, whether it's the pharmacist offering medical advice or the customer service team assisting with everyday needs. They have a great selection of products at reasonable prices. Highly recommended for both shopping and prescriptions. Two thumbs up!
The team is fantastic. The pharmacist is really easy to talk to and helpful.
I was initially impressed when Bathgate Pharmacy took over Lloyd's, as they were efficient, fast, and accurate with my complex prescription. However, there were suddenly errors with my medication being placed in the wrong slots of my dosette box, and the deliveries started arriving late - so much so that my friend had to pick them up for me. The same issues were happening with my neighbor, J****, who also takes multiple medications. On top of that, one of the delivery drivers had a terrible attitude.
J****'s son introduced us to Dears Pharmacy and walked us through their system. I was skeptical that anything could be as perfect and simple as he claimed. But once I registered and started receiving my medication from Dears, everything became clear. The reason Bathgate Pharmacy had declined was evident - CELIA, the lovely and attentive pharmacist, had moved to Dears in Armadale. With Celia back in charge, there were no mistakes, and the new delivery driver was the kindest and most cheerful person I've ever dealt with. His punctual deliveries and warm smile always brighten my day.
Although there is no "I" in team, that delivery driver's positive attitude truly stands out. The rest of the team at Dears Pharmacy also work diligently. The ability to text the pharmacy when I need medication is a lifesaver, eliminating the need to call the surgery and deal with grumpy receptionists. I wholeheartedly recommend Dears Pharmacy to anyone in need of exceptional service. They offer innovative solutions like a 'safe box' for medication collection, similar to an Amazon locker, which streamlines the process and allows the staff to focus on preparing prescriptions efficiently.
Thank you to Celia and the team at Dears Pharmacy, and a special shoutout to our wonderful delivery man for always bringing a smile to our faces. 😃✨👌🏻 xxx
This pharmacy is always buzzing with activity, but luckily they have a great team in place to assist. I've found the staff to be incredibly helpful whenever I've needed anything.
Just got back from Pharmacy, mate. I submitted my prescription online to the doctors on Wednesday, popped into the chemist today to pick it up, and what do you know, they didn't have it. I told them the medication I needed and explained that I'd been without it since Tuesday. They told me to go back to the GP and ask for another one. So off I went to the GP, who informed me that the chemist did have the prescription but wouldn't fill it because of some daft policy that makes you wait 72 hours. And here's the kicker – I struggle with proper bad social anxiety, so it takes me a good 3-4 days to pluck up the courage to leave the house. Now I'm left without my essential blood pressure meds until sometime next week. It's absolutely disgraceful, innit?
Always very helpful, I must say!
There's a bloomin' army of staff, yet there's always a ruddy queue and it takes an absolute age to get served.
Super convenient being just across the street from the doctor's office. They offer a wide range of beauty products, shower gels, and more at great prices.
This spot is always bustling with activity.
The staff at this pharmacy is really friendly, they are always willing to help and provide excellent service.
Quick service and highly informative. Very friendly staff.
Absolutely appalling service. I visited the pharmacy seeking assistance with my mental health and social anxiety medication, only to be met with a dismissive attitude. I was instructed to see a doctor, which I promptly did, but upon returning to the pharmacy for my medication delivery, I was met with discrimination by the manager, Daniel. He questioned why I couldn't come in today when I had been there last month, displaying a lack of understanding and empathy towards my condition. My privacy felt violated as he insensitively inquired about my personal struggles, making me feel like a villain for needing my prescribed medication.
Despite my efforts to explain the importance of having my medication, the manager refused to accommodate my needs, showing a clear disregard for individuals with invisible disabilities. I am now left with no choice but to rely on others for transportation to collect my medication, as the manager refuses to offer delivery services. His inability to acknowledge and respect my mental health challenges is both disheartening and discriminatory.
I have only visited this pharmacy twice, and it is solely due to the appalling behavior of the manager. His disrespectful demeanor towards individuals with mental disabilities is unacceptable. He was rude when faced with questions he deemed inappropriate and even suggested sending my dying father to collect my medication, showcasing a complete lack of compassion and professionalism. This manager's arrogant and disrespectful attitude towards customers, especially those with mental health issues, is disgraceful. I will not be returning to this establishment as long as he remains in charge.
