Exploring Asda Armadale Supermarket in Bathgate

Asda Armadale Supermarket is a convenient shopping destination located in Bathgate, offering a range of products and services to meet the needs of local shoppers. While it has its highlights, customer feedback reveals areas needing improvement.

Payment Options

At Asda Armadale, customers can make payments using credit cards, debit cards, and NFC mobile payments for a quick and efficient checkout experience. However, many have reported frustrations with long queues at the only staffed checkout and malfunctioning self-service tills that are not user-friendly. It's essential for the store to enhance its service options during busy times, particularly on Fridays when shoppers encounter lengthy wait times.

Accessibility Features

Asda Armadale is designed with accessibility in mind. The supermarket features a wheelchair-accessible car park and a wheelchair-accessible entrance, ensuring that all customers can conveniently access the store. Despite this, customers have noted issues with the overall organization and stock levels, including limited availability of certain products, which can be frustrating for those planning their visits.

Shopping Experience

Many customers appreciate the friendly service from staff, who are often willing to assist with locating items within the store. Unfortunately, some shoppers have encountered poorly stocked shelves, leading to an unsatisfactory experience. Regular assessments of stock levels would greatly enhance customer satisfaction.

Delivery and Pick-up Options

For added convenience, Asda Armadale offers delivery and in-store pick-up options. However, there have been complaints regarding the reliability of delivery times and order accuracy. Many customers have had negative experiences with late deliveries or incorrect items, which could deter potential online shoppers.

Recycling and Sustainability Initiatives

Asda has made commitments to sustainability by promoting recycling programs, such as encouraging the return of glass bottles and batteries. This initiative aligns with consumer demand for environmentally responsible practices, although execution at the store level may vary.

Highlights of Shopping at Asda Armadale

Despite its challenges, Asda Armadale provides several advantages, including: - A wide selection of great produce. - Accessible public amenities, including toilets. - Parking facilities that cater to the community, including electric car chargers.

Conclusion

In summary, Asda Armadale Supermarket is a fixture in the Bathgate area, known for its convenience and range of products. While improvements are needed in service efficiency and stock management, the commitment to accessibility and customer service remains strong. Customers are encouraged to consider Asda for their grocery needs but should be prepared for a mix of experiences.

Asda Armadale is in a prime spot, perfectly situated for the locals. I've heard rumors about a possible expansion, fingers crossed they pull it off. The staff are delightful and ever ready to lend a hand.
Benjamin Peterson (08/08/2025, 01:50):
The Click & Collect service is absolutely dreadful. I tried calling the number but no one bothered to pick up the phone. After wasting a good 10 minutes making calls, I ended up having to queue just to enter the shop. It seems like Asda is completely missing the mark when it comes to "click & collect."
Nathan Graham (07/08/2025, 22:23):
This Asda isn't as large as the others I've visited. I popped in for some last-minute shopping and found myself pausing to take a closer look. Do you ever have those moments when things just don't add up? Or is it just me?
Evelyn Price (07/08/2025, 21:14):
Not much variety in the selection of meats or cheeses at this grocery store in Jockistan.
Timothy Miller (06/08/2025, 14:58):
Had a decently quick visit to the supermarket, found the staff to be friendly and helpful. Cheers!
Victoria Coleman (05/08/2025, 01:49):
Conveniently located supermarket right next to the train station. The selection isn't the most extensive since it's a smaller ASDA, but it's perfect for quick shopping after work.
Roy Hughes (03/08/2025, 21:52):
Absolutely brilliant, top marks for Supermarket!
Teresa Ramirez (02/08/2025, 14:25):
This supermarket is quite big and has a wide variety of products available.

I used to buy 3 packs of Angel Delight from there for a pound, but they have increased the price to 60p per pack now. It's costing £1.80 to get a pound's worth of Angel Delight.

No wonder people are resorting to shoplifting now.

Nobody has the money for things anymore.
Scott Baker (02/08/2025, 13:17):
It ain't too bad, not too vast either.
Joseph Jones (02/08/2025, 09:01):
I placed an order on Just Eat a couple of nights ago. The delivery time was all over the place, and then they were out of cigarettes. Two hours later, they claimed my order had been delivered when it hadn't. I didn't get a full refund! When I tried to get my money back, I couldn't locate my order! However, my bank confirms they charged me and only reimbursed me for the cigarettes.
Jessica Hughes (01/08/2025, 19:02):
Quite a quaint little Asda local, isn't it?
Danielle Gutierrez (29/07/2025, 02:39):
Plenty of options at this quaint little supermarket, with the added bonus of complimentary parking!
Rebecca Richardson (27/07/2025, 04:08):
Absolutely smashing spot for a bit of shopping.

Matthew Young (23/07/2025, 03:00):
The staff at this Supermarket are so friendly and make it really easy to get what you need. Plus, the checkout process is super quick! Such a great experience.
Deborah Johnson (20/07/2025, 22:29):
Decent variety on offer, wouldn't mind a few more options to choose from though.
Grace Barnes (20/07/2025, 17:23):
The staff here is so lovely and welcoming, and the store is operating normally. I'm not quite sure how tonight's changes will impact things, but I don't anticipate any significant differences. The only minor hiccup is that there's no table salt left on the shelves, but that's pretty much par for the course given the current weather conditions.
Gabriel Bailey (20/07/2025, 01:00):
Plenty of parking available at all times, and you rarely encounter long lines at the checkouts, which is always a plus. While it may not be a massive ASDA, you can usually find everything you need.
Elizabeth Hamilton (17/07/2025, 03:25):
I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at the supermarket! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making my shopping trip a breeze. I highly recommend this place for all your grocery needs.
Brian Allen (16/07/2025, 17:50):
It's a bit restricted in terms of variety due to its location, but otherwise not bad at all.
