Regrettably, my experience with this pharmacy hasn't been the best. The staff can be quite rude, especially one lady who tends to speak to customers in a condescending manner, almost as if they were children, and she often dominates the conversation without allowing any input.
They also have a tendency not to answer the phone, despite claims of being busy. On two occasions when I was the only person in the shop, I resorted to calling them from my mobile, only to be met with complete disregard. It's frustrating to see four staff members present and not a single one willing to pick up the phone. When the aforementioned lady finally did answer, her attitude on the call was far from professional, involving eye-rolling and other unprofessional behavior which is unacceptable.
The pharmacy itself seems outdated and out of touch, and the staff seem disengaged and unhelpful. Sadly, my overall opinion of this place is quite negative.
Oh, dear! I must say that the staff at this pharmacy are always so polite and helpful. At times, it seems they are quite busy, with only one person behind the counter when you can clearly hear three more in the back. Nevertheless, they have always been quite efficient with me. Good job!
This chemist has been the go-to pharmacy for my family for years. The staff is incredibly kind and always willing to go above and beyond to assist you. They have provided invaluable support to both my father and myself on numerous occasions, and I wouldn't trust my prescriptions to any other pharmacy. Thank you so much for all of your help!
The staff is very welcoming, and the accessibility for disabled individuals is top-notch.
Murrays pharmacy truly goes the extra mile, whether in person or over the phone. I can't fault them at all as they provided 100% assistance to both myself and my Mrs. The team at Murrays is outstanding, courteous, and incredibly helpful. Two thumbs up from me!
I am extremely disappointed with the service I received at this pharmacy. I went in to purchase calpol for my 2-month-old baby who had just received her injections and it was essential for her well-being. The woman behind the counter, Jayne or Jane, I don't care how it's spelled, refused to sell me the calpol, stating that they do not sell it to babies under 2 months old. I tried to explain the situation and the importance of the medication for my baby, but I was still denied and told to get a prescription.
I decided to call my GP to confirm, and they informed me that it was not right for the pharmacy to refuse my request and that they had never heard of such a refusal before. When I called the pharmacy to complain, I was told that either I didn't explain myself properly or there was a misunderstanding. I strongly disagree with this response. This level of incompetence is unacceptable. It is appalling to think that a new mom like myself would be treated in such a manner.
I cannot recommend this unprofessional pharmacy. The behavior I experienced was absolutely ridiculous and left me feeling very upset. It is important for pharmacies to understand the urgency of situations like these and to handle them with care and empathy.
The team at this establishment tends to be quite impolite and appears preoccupied with idle tasks.
The store is filthy and some of the employees are quite noisy, impolite, and seem to enjoy hearing themselves talk. It appears that Murrys must be in urgent need of new staff. I would suggest looking for an alternative option elsewhere.
I can't fault the pharmacy at all. The staff is top-notch and very helpful.
Awful service, they never seem to have the full prescriptions and give out IOUs instead. When you try to pick up the owed medicines, they claim they've expired and have sent them back, leading to a new charge for a fresh order. Complete scam. Stay away.
I have been frequenting this pharmacy, and I must say, the staff is absolutely wonderful. They always go above and beyond to cater to both myself and my lovely partner. Even if they don't currently stock what I require, they always make the effort to source it for me. The customer service is exceptional. Kudos to all the staff and the driver, and thank you all for the excellent service so far. I highly recommend this pharmacy.
This pharmacy ain't the top choice, mate. The lass at the counter is clueless about patient privacy – she goes around shouting your business for all to hear!
When I visited this Pharmacy, I was quite surprised to find that the staff seemed to be occupied with other tasks and were not readily available. I arrived around 6pm, only to discover that the doors were already closed and locked, even though the posted closing time indicated 6.30pm. It was rather puzzling to see no one at the front desk when I tried to enter, and it appeared that the employees were hiding in the backroom upon hearing someone attempting to open the door. It left me feeling a bit confused and unsure about the level of service at this establishment.
The store staff was absolutely brilliant and incredibly kind.
I recently came across some reviews that mentioned the staff at Murray's Pharmacy being rather unfriendly. It seems like the quality of service has declined significantly since the 1990s. I've only visited a few times due to their poor service. I can't help but wonder how Clive Murray, the founder, would feel about the current state of the pharmacy based on these reviews. It appears that Murray's only responds to positive feedback and ignores any negative comments, which speaks volumes about their customer satisfaction practices.
