The advertised opening time was 9am. I arrived and waited outside the pharmacy until 9:20am, only to find out that the staff did not have the keys to open the door. Eventually, a lady with glasses arrived to let the staff in, but then she asked customers to wait outside. A delivery man with a security lock box also had to wait outside until the business opened. Once inside, we were informed that we had to wait for the staff to log in before being served.

I was the first person to be attended to at 9:30am, only to be told that the almond oil ear drops prescribed by my doctor were out of stock or discontinued. The staff suggested I try another pharmacy. As a local business owner, I expressed my disappointment at not being informed about the stock issue at the advertised opening time. The lady responsible for opening the store mentioned that it was not her fault that they didn't have the stock.

I tried to explain that my concern was not the lack of stock but rather the lack of empathy in serving me significantly late at 9:30am. The lady insisted that it was also not her fault for arriving late. Due to the delay, the pharmacy lost around 15 customers who had arrived after 9am but decided to leave as they were not willing to wait for the staff to show up for work.

The shop keeps closing early, shutting down during lunch breaks, or even not opening at all. This has been happening several times a month for over six months now. I can sympathize with unexpected staff shortages due to illness in these times, but the management of this place is just terrible at this stage.

(This is evidently a managerial issue and in no way reflects on the delightful individuals employed there)

I must say, I have never encountered anyone as impolite as the individual behind the counter was to me just now. They completely disregarded my needs and instead pushed their own agenda. Rather than listening to my concerns, they tried to diagnose me on their own. This experience has left me so upset that I am compelled to leave a Google review, which is something I have never done before. Furthermore, I observed them condescendingly interacting with a sweet elderly lady who was struggling with an app while in line ahead of me. The level of customer service was simply appalling.

I must say, I was quite disappointed by the rather unkind behaviour of a certain female staff member during my recent visit. The way she handled my query at the counter left me feeling hurt and somewhat embarrassed. I am not inclined to return, particularly if my issues will be disregarded in such a rude and thoughtless manner. It is my sincere hope that your establishment can make strides in enhancing its customer service standards.

I just have to give a massive shoutout to Boots at St Patrick's Square for their exceptional service, compassionate care, and personal touch. Brian and the lovely ladies at the pharmacy always go the extra mile to make sure my prescriptions are ready, even when I forget to order on time or need something urgently. Brian once took care of a minor health issue I had with such care and dedication. I couldn't be happier with my pharmacy experience.

I visit this pharmacy on a weekly basis for my medications, and the staff here have assisted me with challenging issues numerous times. Today, there was an issue with my prescription (not their fault), but the young woman went out of her way to quickly obtain the necessary medication for me. The male pharmacist has been more helpful with my allergies than my general practitioner, recommending medication that significantly improves my daily life. He always welcomes me with a friendly word and a smile. The entire team has been incredibly supportive and never make me feel like I am bothering them.
