I just popped into the pharmacy to grab a Vicks inhaler. I stood at the till for 5 minutes without being served, even though I saw at least one lady and two chaps rummaging through items. The customer service was absolutely dreadful.

The location was not good, and the staff were impolite and unhelpful. I had to visit three times to collect my antibiotics, as they were insistent that they hadn't received the prescription from the doctors. Later, it was discovered that the prescription had been sent and dispensed at Abbey Pharmacy, which has now closed without any notice. This has resulted in me being more than four days late in starting my antibiotics, and I am in agony.

I went to the pharmacy and it was absolutely brilliant. The staff went above and beyond, they even opened up just for me when I needed something urgently. The service was top-notch and the team, including Ellie, Andrew, Rosie, and Fax, were so helpful. If this was a hotel, it would definitely be a 5-star experience.

Contacted the chemist, was informed that I needed to return my previous prescription medication in order to receive the new prescription medication. Went to the chemist and was essentially accused of fabricating when I last collected my medication due to incorrect dates on the boxes. After requesting them to contact the lady who usually dispenses my medication, they confirmed the collection but claimed they did not have the new prescription for me, despite both my GP AND one of their OWN staff members confirming that the prescriptions had been sent and were at the chemist. Waited 30 minutes only to be informed that they were in fact preparing the prescriptions at that moment. No apology or acknowledgment for insinuating that I was dishonest and mishandling my prescription.

Regrettably, this is not my sole issue with them. They frequently misrepresent visits to my GP. This was evident when they falsely claimed that my GP stated there was no prescription under my name, yet upon contacting my GP, I discovered that it had been available for days and had not been collected by anyone.

Truly a TERRIBLE chemist that exacerbates the already challenging process of obtaining and filling a prescription from an NHS GP.

I went twice for a simple item, mouthwash and chamomile tea. As for the mouthwash, I was informed that it was not available, and for the chamomile tea, it was also not in stock. I asked six different salespeople, but none of them were able to help me.

The service was very quick and the staff were so polite. I always feel well taken care of when I use the Minor Ailment Service at this pharmacy. The pharmacists and staff are always willing to help, and they go above and beyond to assist. I would rate them A+ for sure.

However, upon my return 15 minutes later, I encountered a younger dispenser who lacked the same level of professionalism.
