I've been experiencing issues with prescription dispensing at Rowlands. My medications have been delayed multiple times and there have been instances where some of them were missing. It has been quite a challenge to get the missing medications sorted out. This Pharmacy really needs to implement a more efficient system soon.

Unpleasant front desk service, yeah? Just needed a wee prescription for antibiotics and was told to hang about 30 minutes for it. There wasn't a soul in the place apart from me, mind you. Tried to pay with a £50 note, but was told they couldn't take it. Eventually the pharmacist had to step in and tell them it was OK. First, they suggested I pop over to Tesco next door to get change. Then, when I returned for my prescription, they said they didn't have it under my name. Proper mess, that was.

Awful pharmacy. They're always misplacing prescriptions, and when they do find them, it takes nearly two weeks before they're ready for pickup. Strangely enough, if it's not a repeat prescription, you can get it in 15 minutes. Absolutely absurd.

I simply can't fathom how they've managed to secure a 5-star rating. A new pharmacist greets you with each visit, and they come across as rather cheeky, impolite, and unprofessional. Their knack for making errors is simply astonishing.

I must say, my missus, who happens to be a primary care pharmacist, had requested that I pop down to the local pharmacy to pick up a cream for our little 14-month-old lass on pharmacy first. To my surprise, they told me that the cream wasn't available on pharmacy first due to some age restriction and insisted I needed to go through our GP instead. I left thinking the age restriction must be quite high, considering they didn't even bother asking how old our wee one was. When I informed my wife about this, she did some digging and found out that the age restriction had actually been removed in 2022. So, I phoned the pharmacy to explain the mix-up and mentioned that I wanted to return with our daughter to get the cream. The person on the other end checked with the pharmacist and returned to inform me that the pharmacist was now refusing the consultation and advised me to go through the GP.

My wife decided to call the pharmacy herself and requested to speak directly to the pharmacist. She questioned why he had turned down the consultation, to which he simply stated there was an age restriction. She pointed out that I had clarified there wasn't one and wondered why he hadn't verified the information. His response was rather flippant, saying he'd take her word for it and suggested that if she informed me to come back in, they could provide the cream. Not a single hint of an apology was offered.

Subsequently, I managed to visit a different pharmacy and obtain the cream without any hassle through pharmacy first. It's truly disheartening as the original pharmacy is conveniently close by, but we've decided we won't be returning due to the abysmal service we experienced.
