Exploring Well Pharmacy in Glasgow: A Comprehensive Review

Well Pharmacy, located in Glasgow, offers a variety of services and products for customers. While the pharmacy has some strengths, it also faces several challenges based on customer feedback.

Service Options and Accessibility

Well Pharmacy provides various service options, including in-store shopping and in-store pick-up for medications and health products. Customers appreciate the wheelchair-accessible entrance, making the pharmacy convenient for everyone, including those in the LGBTQ+ community who find it to be an LGBTQ+ friendly environment. However, the pharmacy's accessibility in terms of staff availability and service efficiency has come under scrutiny. Many customers have reported long wait times and disorganized service, indicating room for improvement.

Payment Methods

Regarding payments, Well Pharmacy accepts both credit cards and debit cards, allowing for more flexibility during transactions. Additionally, they are equipped for NFC mobile payments, which caters to tech-savvy customers seeking quick and efficient checkout experiences. Unfortunately, customer experiences vary significantly, with some expressing frustration over the sheer length of wait times during busy hours.

The Pharmacist's Expertise

One positive aspect highlighted by happy customers is the expertise of particular staff members, such as pharmacist Mhorven. She is frequently described as well-educated, polite, and always willing to provide recommendations. This dedication is essential for ensuring a quick visit for those who need assistance with their medications.

Customer Service Concerns

Despite some favorable comments, overall customer service appears to be a significant issue at Well Pharmacy. Numerous reviews indicate problems with prescription accuracy and the lack of responsiveness from staff. For instance, customers expressed disappointment in not receiving necessary medications on time and noted the absence of communication regarding store hours. Some patrons have even found themselves in situations where medications for serious conditions were delayed due to poor management and insufficient staff training.

Conclusion

While Well Pharmacy in Glasgow has its strengths, particularly regarding staff member expertise and accessibility, it faces ongoing challenges with customer service and organization. The pharmacy's ability to improve wait times, communication, and overall efficiency will be crucial in enhancing the customer experience. With a commitment to addressing these issues, Well Pharmacy could transform into a more reliable healthcare resource for the community.

Wayne Thompson (30/05/2025, 20:56):
Absolutely disgraceful, the place has gone completely downhill since the rebranding to Well pharmacy. It's impossible to get anyone on the phone. I've since switched to a different chemist.
Kelly Roberts (30/05/2025, 12:20):
Absolutely dreadful customer service, no one ever picks up the phone, medications not being delivered, perpetual queues with no staff attending to customers. The operating hours are erratic with no prior notice. If I managed a business in such a manner, it would be swiftly shut down. If it were possible, I would give it zero stars.
Helen Evans (28/05/2025, 12:34):
Firstly, why would they claim to be open until one and then close at twelve? Secondly, what's the point of having a phone number if nobody picks up? I can't even verify their opening hours because nobody answers the phone.
Jean Davis (26/05/2025, 04:12):
I stood there for ages, waiting for them to come out and tell me they were closed - they weren't when I entered through the door.
