Rowlands Pharmacy Renfrew: A Comprehensive Overview

Rowlands Pharmacy located in Renfrew is a notable establishment that serves the local community with various service options. Despite its busy atmosphere, it has received mixed reviews from customers regarding its accessibility and overall service quality.

Service Options

Rowlands Pharmacy offers several service options, including in-store pick-up for prescriptions. Customers can also benefit from convenient payment methods such as debit cards, credit cards, and NFC mobile payments. However, the efficiency of these services has been under scrutiny due to reported delays in prescription fulfillment.

Accessibility Features

The pharmacy features a wheelchair-accessible entrance and a wheelchair-accessible car park, making it easier for individuals with mobility challenges to access their services. Yet, the overall organization within the pharmacy has led to frustrating experiences for many customers.

Customer Experiences

Many patrons have expressed dissatisfaction with their experiences at Rowlands Pharmacy. Long waiting times seem to be a recurring issue, with reports of customers waiting over 25 minutes just to hand in a prescription. One user noted, "Sick of standing waiting on staff having to hunt for prescriptions," highlighting the operational challenges faced by the staff during busy periods.

On the flip side, some customers appreciate the polite and hard-working team present at Rowlands Pharmacy. One reviewer mentioned the staff's ability to manage a busy environment while maintaining professionalism. This indicates a potential for excellent service, although it often gets overshadowed by long queues and organization issues.

Communication and Follow-Up

Another concern raised by customers pertains to the pharmacy's communication practices. Several individuals reported not receiving text messages informing them when their prescriptions were ready, which adds to the frustration of managing their medication needs. Additionally, customers have noted difficulty reaching the pharmacy via phone, often finding it unavailable.

Conclusion

While Rowlands Pharmacy Renfrew boasts a range of service options and accessible facilities, consistent complaints about long wait times and communication issues indicate room for improvement. As a vital resource for the community, enhancing the customer experience should be a priority to restore faith and trust among its clientele.

I've noticed that the staff at the counter are rather sluggish. They used to provide fast and efficient service, but it seems to have deteriorated recently.

Hello there, mate! Just a heads up for all you lads out there looking young and picking up prescriptions at the pharmacy. While it's not strictly necessary by law, it seems like the new pharmacist has taken a liking to verifying the identities of those blokes who rock tracksuits. So, if you fit the bill and want to avoid any hassle, make sure to have your ID handy when you swing by to grab your meds. Cheers!

I wouldn't recommend this pharmacy at all, it's an absolute joke! The staff there seem clueless and the waiting times are just dreadful. They promise to text you when your prescription is ready, but they never do. And when you try to call them, the phone is always off the hook. I never experienced these issues when it was under the previous management. Something needs to change here. I only gave it one star because I couldn't give it zero. I suggest you investigate this matter further.

Avoid this place if you're in a rush. It's a very busy pharmacy. I recommend using the orderline if possible. It's frustrating that your prescription gets sent off to be filled, which can take up to 10 days, and the patient has no input in the process. It almost feels like they're doing you a favor. Let's hope our pharmacy goes back to just being a pharmacy. I've been a customer here since Eddie Blythr, so that's quite a few years. All I'm looking for is a pharmacy that can properly handle my diabetic needs, fill my prescriptions, and provide advice without making me feel like a second-class citizen before even talking to the pharmacist. And when you do speak to the pharmacist, it's usually a locum who doesn't know you at all.
