I pick up my monthly prescription from the chemist, and I must say, they have been absolutely splendid in attending to all our needs promptly. Much thanks and keep up the excellent work!
Patrick James (25/07/2025, 11:33):
The staff at this pharmacy are incredibly friendly and always ready to help, they even remember your name! However, the only downside is that they are closed all weekend, which can be a bit of a challenge if you're not very organized.
Angela Foster (19/07/2025, 15:00):
AVOID!! Constantly missing medication for my 80-year-old mum, always claiming to be out of stock and consistently delivering her weekly prescription late, resulting in her going without her tablets for days! Clearly, they have no regard for their customers! I have since switched to Boots on Langworthy Rd and the service is infinitely better with no issues whatsoever. This particular pharmacy should definitely be shut down!!!
Christian Cruz (18/07/2025, 18:34):
So I've been sitting here with my 89-year-old gran for what seems like ages, just waiting for her cream prescription. Seriously, how slow can you guys be? The service is absolutely awful. And don't even get me started on trying to call them – it's like playing phone tag with zero winners. Absolutely dreadful. Monday 7th Oct 2019 at 6pm.
Evelyn Jordan (16/07/2025, 16:10):
They never pick up the blower, and my lad's prescriptions take ages to come through. Somebody ought to get a grip on this pharmacy, I tell you.
Willie Brooks (11/07/2025, 01:51):
I switched to this pharmacy after experiencing numerous issues with the staff at a pharmacy in Monton village. There was a young man working there who appeared to be on a power trip, so I was apprehensive about dealing with staff from another pharmacy. However, this pharmacy was a breath of fresh air. The staff are friendly and empathetic, always willing to assist with any medication-related issues. There is a young female pharmacist who is incredibly pleasant and helpful, completely different from my experiences at the Monton village pharmacy and Boots pharmacy in Manchester City Centre.

I must mention that I encountered difficulties with my prescription and GP again, which caused me a great deal of stress as my health is not optimal at the moment. Once more, the wonderful staff at this pharmacy went above and beyond to resolve the issue for me. No other pharmacy I've dealt with would take the time out of their busy schedules to do this for me. The staff at this pharmacy are truly exceptional.
Richard Coleman (10/07/2025, 05:32):
The staff at this pharmacy are top-notch - really helpful and knowledgeable. They work well with the GP's and I would definitely recommend them.
Henry Ford (08/07/2025, 17:23):
The pharmacy folk are quite lovely. They even remember you, don't they? No need to utter your name at all.
Christopher Perry (07/07/2025, 15:08):
If you're relying on regular prescriptions, I'd suggest looking elsewhere. I've found myself without essential pain medication due to delayed deliveries and lack of concern. In light of new information blaming my GP surgery for the prescription delays, I realize my review was written in haste. My sincere apologies to Cohen's for any misunderstanding.
Henry Phillips (07/07/2025, 09:23):
I must say, I'm completely shocked and appalled by the lack of urgency displayed by the pharmacy staff when it came to arranging the delivery of crucial medication. Despite the dire circumstances, they insisted on obtaining approval from the manager before taking any action, rather than prioritizing the immediate needs of the patient. This delay in response and the disregard for the seriousness of the situation is deeply concerning.

It's worth mentioning that the doctor recognized the urgency of the medication and promptly provided a prescription upon contact. However, the pharmacy failed to demonstrate a similar level of urgency or care in handling the situation.
Joe Green (05/07/2025, 10:12):
The staff at this pharmacy were incredibly polite and helpful during our visit all the way from London. They assisted us in finding the medication we required with the support of our GP. A big thank you to them for their assistance!
Kelly Martinez (05/07/2025, 05:12):
I have been with this pharmacy for a year now and I am currently looking for a new chemist. I have had huge difficulties trying to reach them by phone, as 80 out of 80 calls I make are unsuccessful. It takes them days to order my medications, and when they finally arrive, they do not stick to the agreed delivery times. My medications end up sitting on their shelves for a week because I cannot contact them to ask for a delivery, despite reminding them each time that I am disabled and live in a bungalow, relying on their delivery service. I have to wait for my family to visit me weekly from Liverpool to collect my medications, and then wait another week if they are out of stock because the pharmacy forgets to deliver them. This chemist service is truly dreadful.
Rose Gray (02/07/2025, 17:36):
The service provided here is truly top-notch.
Kevin Foster (01/07/2025, 08:03):
In the 5 months since I started using their services, they have consistently failed to deliver my disabled friend's asthma inhaler on time. Absolutely appalling! 😡

Once again, they have missed the promised delivery of my disabled friend's blister pack. As a result, he is now left without his medication until Tuesday or Wednesday. We will be returning to Lloyd's chemist.

Cohens has had a history of delivery issues even before the challenges posed by Covid and Brexit.
Nicole Roberts (30/06/2025, 03:14):
I am quite appalled by the service I experienced today at the pharmacy. After waiting for 30 minutes to consult with the pharmacist, as instructed by the lady at the counter, I decided to leave the establishment due to the sensitive nature of my visit. I ended up seeking assistance elsewhere.
Henry Simmons (29/06/2025, 09:07):
I am a registered disabled patient who is on the spectrum, I also suffer from epilepsy and have had a TBI since birth. Today, I called Cohen's Chemist to inquire about why my medication delivery was changed to collection without any prior consultation or notice. They informed me that their policy had changed and failed to inform me beforehand. I explained why I am unable to collect the medication, but I was met with condescension and a patronizing tone. They said, "many people who work can still make it." Despite explaining my condition as an epileptic and discussing my inability to collect due to work constraints, I was told, "we can deliver it this time, but you will need to find a new chemist who can deliver in the future."
Kyle Jones (26/06/2025, 07:44):
The staff at this pharmacy is absolutely brilliant! They were so knowledgeable and friendly, making my visit a truly pleasant experience. I highly recommend this pharmacy for all your health needs.
Cynthia Kelly (18/06/2025, 18:21):
WARNING! They always confuse my prescription, blaming the doctors, but outright telling LIES between Pharmacy and Cohen's head office. They even gave me Amitriptyline instead of Amlodipine once, only realizing when I took them. Thankfully, there are Lloyd's and Boots nearby where I'm transferring mine.
Noah Lee (17/06/2025, 23:24):
I would highly recommend steering clear of this pharmacy. They consistently let down a palliative care patient with their repeated failures in delivering their weekly medications. Important items were frequently missing, such as delayed antibiotics. When I raised my concerns with the staff, they responded with laughter over the phone. Their lack of professionalism is truly disappointing, which is why I have decided to switch to a different pharmacy. It's disheartening to see such low standards in a healthcare setting.
Lauren Murphy (15/06/2025, 01:34):
This pharmacy is an absolute disaster!! The staff are clueless and incompetent. I've been using their services for a few months now for my repeat prescriptions, and I ALWAYS have to remind them when it's due. They've lost my prescription, overcharged me, and I'm always left waiting around. My partner has had a similar experience too. Definitely not worth the convenience of late-night service.
