I have been using this pharmacy for a number of years to get my repeat prescriptions, but I've had enough. It's always a gamble as to whether they will actually process my prescription as a repeat or not. Most recently, they failed to do so once again and blamed the doctors. The doctors confirmed that it is the pharmacy's responsibility to request the repeat prescription, something I remind them of every time I pick up my medication. To make matters worse, I couldn't collect my prescription on Saturday because the pharmacy closed early due to staff shortages. Then today, it was closed again because all the staff were locked in a room and unable to get out? Seriously?! There was a very impolite and unhelpful security guard outside who didn't look like a security guard at all. I ended up experiencing withdrawal symptoms over the weekend because I ran out of crucial medication due to this pharmacy's incompetence in properly staffing their facility. I have retrieved my repeat prescription and will be taking it to a different pharmacy. I will never step foot in this terrible place again.

I must say, this place is quite the gem. The team here is simply delightful, save for one individual who shall remain anonymous. I tend to steer clear of them during my visits as they seem rather aloof, lacking in the friendly department, and exude an air of inconvenience or disinterest in assisting me. Quite peculiar, you would think I was referring to a youthful staff member... but no! I initially gave them the benefit of the doubt, but after several encounters, I'm inclined to believe they might be better suited for a different line of work. Hence, my rating of four out of five stars. On the opposite end of the spectrum, there's a very jovial gentleman (no names mentioned) who goes above and beyond to assist customers. He adeptly guides on online ordering procedures (given the limited stock at the Saltcoats store) and facilitates in-store pickups seamlessly. His knowledge on products within the store is truly impressive, offering valuable tips and recommendations. It's like comparing night and day between the two.
The store itself boasts a diverse range of products. My only wish is for it to be larger to accommodate more items on sale or special offers.
