I must say, the service was quite poor at this pharmacy. Had to wait a good 5 minutes while the staff finished up their chat before even realizing I was waiting in the shop.

For the past week, they have consistently posted a sign on the door each morning indicating closures or significantly reduced hours. While I sympathize with the challenges of understaffing, it has proven exceedingly difficult to pick up the medication I requested a prescription for over a week ago. I had a rather unpleasant experience with the staff at this pharmacy, as they were unhelpful and seemed quite abrupt. The pharmacist went so far as to provide my wife with inaccurate information over the phone regarding the availability of medication. Even our GP recommended against using this pharmacy if we needed something urgently.

I am so grateful for the new owners at this Pharmacy. Their service is truly outstanding. The entire community of Queensferry is fortunate that Lloyds has been taken over by these new individuals. I heard that one of them is a specialist prescriber, which allowed my mother to obtain antibiotics without having to schedule a doctor's appointment. I can't thank them enough.

Queensferry is fortunate that Independent Pharmacy has acquired Lloyds, the management is excellent and they dispense medication promptly without any issues. Speaking as a former community pharmacist, I am impressed by their service. Recently, my daughter was given only one bottle of antibiotics for a 10-day course instead of two. I thought I would have to return to the GP, but the pharmacist provided me with the additional bottle without any hassle.

The pharmacy seems to be adequately staffed now and it is well-run. Independent pharmacies are always superior, unlike chain stores that prioritize profit and targets.

Every time I walk into this pharmacy, I observe customers shouting at the staff and then being surprised when the employees lack motivation. If the entering customers could be kinder, perhaps there would be a sufficient number of staff members who actually enjoy working here instead of dreading it due to being shouted at whenever a prescription isn't ready. Some of the staff at this Pharmacy are downright rude and unfriendly. From the moment I stepped foot in the shop, I felt like I had committed a crime. Despite waiting in line for a good 10 minutes, multiple staff members simply walked past me without a second glance. Eventually, one staff member begrudgingly attended to us, sporting a face like thunder. When I mentioned that I was there to pick up my prescription (this was my second visit to the pharmacy, as I had returned an hour later to avoid waiting), the staff member responded with a sour expression and informed me that I would have to wait another 10 minutes. Upon questioning why, she raised her voice and rudely suggested I go elsewhere if I wasn't pleased. Truly unbelievable. I have no intention of returning to this establishment, as their "customer service" standards have evidently been lacking for quite some time.

I must say, I am quite disappointed with this pharmacy and its lack of organization. The customer service here has been consistently poor, even before the pandemic hit. It seems to me that the management needs to take a good hard look at how they are running things, rather than just relying on their proximity to the GP practice to keep customers coming back. Whenever I've tried to pick up my repeat prescriptions in the past, I've had to wait almost an hour for them to be ready, even when I've requested them days in advance. Today, I arrived only to find that the store had closed 4 hours early. There was a group of unhappy customers outside, some of whom said they had experienced the same thing last weekend and earlier in the week, making it difficult for them to get their prescriptions. There were staff inside the store, but they chose to ignore the customers outside. I had called multiple times during my long walk to the pharmacy to check if my prescription was ready, but no one answered and there was no voicemail explaining the unexpected closure. It was a very frustrating experience. I will definitely be taking my prescriptions elsewhere in the future.
