A Broad Range of Amenities

This supermarket is well-organized and clean, providing excellent service options such as no-contact delivery and in-store pick-up. For those keen on sustainability, Sainsbury's also features a solid recycling area where you can return items like glass bottles and receive 5p for each returned item.

Shopping Experience

While Sainsbury's is recognized for its great produce, including a good selection of organic products, some shoppers have pointed out that prices can be higher than competitors like Asda. However, many believe that the quality justifies the cost. The store boasts multiple checkout points, ensuring that crowds are managed effectively, especially during busy hours.

For a seamless shopping experience, Sainsbury’s supports various payment methods, including credit cards, debit cards, and NFC mobile payments. Customers also appreciate the convenience of having an ATM on-site for any cash needs. In conclusion, Sainsbury's in Aberdeen serves as a comprehensive stop for groceries, household necessities, and more. It continues to evolve and improve its services, making it a valuable part of the community despite occasional feedback regarding pricing and inventory management.

Andrew Kim (06/09/2025, 12:14):
A splendid selection of wares and amenities all under one roof. Neat and orderly, the staff are quite amiable. However, the only drawback is the car park adjacent to the storefront, which is riddled with rather substantial potholes (Jun 2023). Therefore, it would be advisable not to drive too briskly in that area. While I surmise it's a cost-effective alternative to speed bumps, it undeniably detracts from the overall charm of the establishment. Remarkably, they've delineated the potholes with paint, so hopefully, this issue will be rectified expeditiously.

Update: It appears my feedback didn't fall on deaf ears, as the car park underwent repairs shortly after I shared my observations.

A bit on the pricey side, but they tend to have a good selection of products.
Abigail Myers (04/09/2025, 21:19):
Better than Asda, just across the street, and the most convenient store to grab snacks from. The scanners you can use to tally up your purchases are not only practical but also entertaining to toss around like boomerangs.
Elizabeth Rodriguez (03/09/2025, 09:11):
Just snagged meself some veggies and a lighter. Managed to spot both, I did.
Julia Cruz (02/09/2025, 04:35):
The quality is quite good, but I've noticed that the prices can be a bit steep. The clothing department is decent and they often have days with a 25% discount. If you can splurge, their filet steak is really fantastic!
Adam Phillips (01/09/2025, 04:33):
This Sainsbury's is quite the large one, packed to the brim with items for sale.
A friendly heads-up, creating a "fort" in the aisles using unpaid items may attract some unwanted attention from the staff and even the bobbies. Seems like some folks are lacking a bit of an adventurous spirit, eh?
Mia Adams (30/08/2025, 23:22):
Big shoutout to those 2 COVID police at the entrance of the store! These absolute legends have about as much compassion and logic as a pile of bricks. Rules are not the law, mate! Especially when they spring them on you out of nowhere while you've been queuing up for ages. Yeah, arthritis might not be a visible disability, but cheers for not giving a listen to any explanation before shuffling me through the barricade of shopping baskets. Cheers, guys!
Edward Taylor (30/08/2025, 14:30):
We ain't from around here and just popped into this Sainsbury's to grab a few bits for our travels. Managed to snag about 3 or 4 items out of 10 on our list, as several were out of stock or we had to make do with substitutes.

They've got solid social distancing measures in place and it wasn't too crowded.
Christopher White (29/08/2025, 03:14):
Sainsbury's has really disappointed me this year. The prices have doubled from last year, and for the first time in 5 years, I ended up spending £120 on a few items, with some essentials not even in stock. To top it off, there were no cashiers open at 8pm.
Danielle Myers (27/08/2025, 16:06):
This is a fantastic supermarket with an extensive selection of items.
Madison Jones (27/08/2025, 11:18):
The store has just had a fancy upgrade, and I must say, it's well worth your while to pick up the nectar card. It'll score you some great deals at the till.
Riley Jordan (18/08/2025, 21:06):
Make sure to review your receipts! I visit this store every Sunday and it seems like I'm constantly being overcharged. A few weeks back, I was charged an extra £7.00. I went to customer services and asked if they could compensate me for the trouble of having to come back (which I didn't want to do). They said they only provide compensation if you've bought something that's past its expiration date. This has happened several times now, with me finding taramasalata, cream cakes, and shortcrust pastry all expired. I did receive something in return when I brought them back, but it's just not good enough. I talked to a cashier I know personally, who is very skilled, but even then, I was overcharged for two items and only one was rectified. It makes you wonder!

Despite these issues, there are some incredibly helpful staff members who truly enhance my shopping experience. Huge shoutout to Kevin, Chelsea, Euan, Lucas, Catherine, and especially Joseph! Sainsbury's should be proud to have such wonderful employees like you all.
Timothy Bailey (16/08/2025, 19:51):
It was quite bustling for a morning shopping trip, there were a few unexpected deals available that I didn't think you would find at this hour. I would certainly return for another visit.
Nicole Perez (16/08/2025, 09:29):
It is pricier compared to Lidl and Aldi.
Kevin Perry (15/08/2025, 17:38):
Food is alright, but I have never witnessed a supermarket being poorly restocked. If you pop in after noon, a lot of the fruits and veggies are already gone. Simple items like strawberries are nowhere to be found, even during this season when they should be plentiful. They really should improve their stocking efforts, as it's rather frustrating unless you shop there early. I often find myself having to head over to Asda across the street to grab the essentials, and they never disappoint in having what I need.
Victoria Hill (14/08/2025, 20:29):
This is the perfect spot to grab your groceries.
Edward Green (12/08/2025, 16:29):
Argh, nestled within this Sainsbury's, which I must say is rather handy. The parking situation is quite good, and they have some top-notch nectar offers available in-store.
Leonard Foster (10/08/2025, 22:14):
Top-notch service from the staff, always willing to go the extra mile. Prices were quite reasonable too. While the food section was a tad smaller than anticipated, it had all the essentials for my weekly shopping. Impressed by the homeware and clothing departments, and having an Argos in-store is a fantastic bonus.
Beverly Cruz (10/08/2025, 20:20):
The store has undergone a rather drastic rearrangement of products. I still find myself struggling a bit to locate the occasional item. Nevertheless, it remains a fine supermarket. Additionally, a new Starbucks has recently opened, adding to the overall appeal.
Thomas Diaz (09/08/2025, 13:50):
Due to the lack of dining options at this store, unlike Berryden, my son mentioned that there used to be talk of a Starbucks opening here before he left his job. Surprisingly, there are still no places to grab a drink or a bite to eat.
