Amenities and Accessibility

This Tesco location boasts wheelchair-accessible entrances, a wheelchair-accessible car park, and facilities, including a wheelchair-accessible toilet. The store layout promotes easy navigation, allowing customers to enjoy a quick visit without hassle. However, there have been mixed reviews regarding the accessibility experience, with some customers expressing concerns about staff behavior in sensitive situations.

Quality Offerings and Shopping Experience

Shoppers appreciate the great produce, fresh fruits, vegetables, meats, and household essentials. Customers noted that the store carries items often not found elsewhere, making it a valuable resource for various needs.

Payment Options and Technology

Tesco Extra supports modern payment methods such as NFC mobile payments, making transactions quick and convenient. Additionally, the store accepts debit cards and credit cards, ensuring flexible payment choices for customers. Automated payment machines streamline the checkout process, although some visitors commented on the need for more human-operated checkouts.

Customer Service Highlights

There are plenty of products to choose from here, just like any other Tesco in Aberdeenshire.
Janice Hamilton (29/07/2025, 20:56):
Absolutely smashing, mate. This blog about Supermarkets is a real cracker, innit? I'm proper chuffed to have stumbled upon it. Keep up the brilliant work! Cheers!

The other day, I popped into Tesco for my usual shop and I must say, it was a bit of a disaster. The staff were sneezing over the food, there were no baskets to be found, checkout staff seemed to have verbal diarrhea, there were long queues at the quick checkouts, and don't even get me started on the escalator that never seems to work properly. It's such a shame because Tesco used to be my favorite store, but it looks like I'll have to start shopping elsewhere.
Karen Cooper (25/07/2025, 07:44):
Just like any other Tesco, the staff were friendly enough.

First stop on a Saturday morning for a delicious breakfast and the weekly grocery run.
Teresa Reynolds (18/07/2025, 23:21):
Plenty of space, great deals as soon as you walk in, and the staff is super friendly.
Richard Walker (18/07/2025, 19:24):
The checkout staff at this establishment do not seem to grasp simple requests, had to repeat myself three times before the cashier finally paid attention.
Evelyn Gonzalez (17/07/2025, 15:55):
I pop into this shop every fortnight and the staff are ever so friendly, always ready to lend a hand with anything you need. The brand selection is top-notch.
Ryan Hill (15/07/2025, 14:05):
We offer click and collect service, home delivery options, restroom facilities, a cafe located upstairs (accessible by lift or stairs), as well as escalators and a travelator at the entrance for convenience.
Kimberly Perez (15/07/2025, 04:28):
The prices here are a tad bit on the pricier side compared to the bigger Tesco supermarket located nearby.
Matthew Graham (14/07/2025, 07:30):
Enjoying a spot of brekkie. Decent selection on the menu. The staff suggested that if we added two more items to our breakfast order, it would come out cheaper. Service was on point, and the tables were spick and span. Despite the hustle and bustle, it wasn't too raucous. Cheers!

I must express my utter dismay at the service provided by this particular store this evening. My wife inadvertently purchased a game intended for the PS5 instead of the desired PS4 version due to its misplacement in the PS4 section. Within less than an hour, I attempted to rectify this mistake by returning the item to the store.

The unhelpful individual manning the customer service desk promptly summoned their manager, who adamantly refused our request for an exchange. Despite clarifying that we simply sought to swap the product, the manager—Jackie, if memory serves correctly—adopted a condescending tone and remarked, "Surely your wife can discern the discrepancy? It's not that difficult, is it?"

After involving another manager, we were informed that an exchange was out of the question. The item was snatched away, and I was callously informed that I was now £50 poorer, with the suggestion to recover the cost from my wife. As tensions escalated, the manager recklessly proceeded to suggest that my wife ought to enroll in reading lessons.

Regrettably, I shall not be patronizing this establishment in the future.
Kathleen Reyes (12/07/2025, 00:08):
My grandson absolutely adores popping into the cafe for either breakfast or lunch. The staff are incredibly kind and helpful, always going above and beyond. And I must say, the coffee is simply fantastic! A huge thank you to everyone. Wishing you all a Merry Christmas! 🎅🎄🎁🥂
Grace Foster (11/07/2025, 00:24):
I must say, the state of the gentlemen's restroom at this establishment leaves much to be desired. The hygiene standards are simply not up to par, and it is quite disappointing. It is imperative that the management addresses this issue promptly in order to maintain a positive reputation among customers.
Abigail Graham (10/07/2025, 17:44):
Splendid! The supermarket is absolutely grand, neat, and in tip-top shape. It offers a wide array of top-notch products and renowned brands at very reasonable prices. The staff is exceedingly courteous, and there is ample parking space available. It would be marvelous if they could plant some trees in the outdoor parking area to seamlessly blend the surroundings with nature.
Megan Cook (09/07/2025, 01:32):
The staff at the supermarket were incredibly helpful and welcoming. They provided excellent customer service with a friendly attitude.
Isabella Gonzales (07/07/2025, 16:51):
A fair number of shoppers seem to be disregarding the Covid19 rules by not donning face masks in the supermarket or wearing them below their noses.
Heather Taylor (07/07/2025, 11:25):
I popped into this Supermarket the other day and I must say, I was quite impressed! The shelves were well stocked, there was ample parking space with a fuel station nearby, and they even had a cafe and toilets available. The store was clean, well lit, and had a cozy atmosphere which I really appreciated. The only downside was that they didn't have cardboard carriers for wine or bottles, which was a bit disappointing. On the bright side, it looked like there were plenty of staff around to assist customers. Overall, a pretty good experience!
Mark Peterson (05/07/2025, 13:07):
Lovely tidy shop with a splendid array of goodies.
Mark Flores (05/07/2025, 06:39):
I recently witnessed a group of twenty unaccompanied children causing chaos in Tesco. They were playing on the escalator, stopping it from working properly, and even messing around in the lifts. To make matters worse, the customer service desk closed at 8:00 pm, leaving many customers feeling frustrated. It's no wonder some people are considering shopping elsewhere. The overall experience at the store was a complete joke.
