I recently visited this supermarket for breakfast, and I must say it was a bit of a disappointment. The cups were sticky, the coffee machine has been broken for over a year, and the alternative one looked dirty and needed to be refilled. The breakfast itself was quite terrible, with a solid fried egg, overcooked sausage, fatty bacon, and a greasy tattie scone. In comparison, my visit to Tesco the day before felt like fine dining. To top it all off, there was a pigeon flying over the diners.

So I went to the service counter and was told they couldn't make a fried egg, but they could do scrambled or poached eggs instead. 😂😂😂 Then my order arrived without any egg... So I asked the lady where my egg and mushrooms were, and she said they didn't have any mushrooms even though we were in Morrisons!!!!!! 🤔🤔🤔 But eventually, I did get my egg 🤣😂 and after we finished, we had to check the shelves ourselves, and guess what, there were mushrooms 😉😂🤣 (£25 down the drain)

Just two manned tills open. The line for self-checkout is insanely long. Absurd wait times. This is by far the most understaffed Morrisons I have ever visited. It’s best to steer clear if you can, especially during peak hours.

Absolutely fantastic and even more delightful during the winter snow. It's a definite must-try experience! Don't let the cost deter you. Take a stroll along some trails once you reach the mid station.

They sell food, drinks, and such. Not entirely sold on the paper bags! Personally, I prefer my trees to be alive and providing me with oxygen.
The toilets were clean and tidy.
Apart from that, not much else to mention. Just stopped by for some snacks after climbing Ben Nevis for the journey back to the south coast.

Absolutely splendid experience at the supermarket in Ft William. Conveniently located within walking distance from our accommodation. A wide array of products available. Simply delightful!

Management adores praise but tends to overlook helpful feedback. They could certainly do with a little push in the right direction.
Larry Hall (21/08/2025, 14:35):
The café had a cozy vibe, though service was a bit leisurely, so not ideal if you're in a hurry.
The Orange Chocolate Cake slice was an absolute delight, I couldn't resist having another!
Convenient location to catch the bus, as the bus station is just right behind the café.

Supermarket is alright. Quite like your typical Morrisons, a big store for this neck of the woods. I've given it a low rating because the cafe is very disappointing. I recently had to wait, along with other customers. The staff were around, doing their own thing like clearing tables, but they didn't seem to notify the only person (supposedly) who could take orders. It felt like they weren't even bothered that a few of us were waiting. I understand that a cafe might not be a major income source for this supermarket, but it seemed to be run in a rather amateurish or charity-like manner.

I recently visited a nearby supermarket and was quite impressed with the welcoming staff, the quality of the fresh produce, and the convenience of having a selection of clothing items available. Additionally, the presence of clean restrooms and a spacious car park right next to the bus station in Fort William made my shopping experience even more enjoyable.

Great variety of food items available and the team members are really warm and welcoming.
Aaron Cruz (14/08/2025, 08:48):
Just popped down to Morrisons for a spot of shopping. The store was laid out quite logically, making the whole experience much smoother and swifter. They had a good selection of fresh produce and a top-notch fishmonger. Managed to snag two gorgeous throws for just £10.00! Loads of options, super clean store, helpful staff, and a straightforward checkout process. Overall, a jolly good shopping spree. 🏆

I must say, I waited for over an hour for breakfast, which made me rearrange the entire day's plans as the staff seemed to have forgotten about us. It was quite disappointing to experience such poor service! Nobody should endure such lengthy waits.
Aaron Ortiz (12/08/2025, 11:20):
Oh dear, what a disappointing meal experience at the local Supermarket café! It sounds like the dishes were not up to standard, with overcooked eggs, dry bacon, and mushrooms, as well as greasy potato bread. The only silver lining seems to have been the friendly smile from one of the staff members. Let's hope they can work on improving the quality of their food so that every customer leaves with a smile on their face.
Louis Carter (11/08/2025, 18:17):
Plenty of goods to choose from. The staff is friendly and helpful. Prices are competitive. The carpark is spacious, with trolleys that don't require coins. However, it can get quite crowded at times with too many customers all at once.
Justin Hall (10/08/2025, 21:25):
The supermarket is decent, but I must say, the lady at the deli counter can be quite rude. I went in wanting to purchase some meat, and even though it was already prepared and displayed, she turned me away, claiming they don't start serving until 9 o'clock, as she has other tasks to attend to before then. Quite a disappointing attitude, if you ask me.
Martha Cook (09/08/2025, 22:04):
I strive to be impartial in my reviews, so I hope I'm not coming across as overly critical in this assessment.
The supermarket itself is quite spacious and boasts a decent variety of products. We visited the store twice during our stay, but if we were to come back to town, we would likely explore other shopping options.
My wife relies on a service dog, and we found the store's enforcement of their no-dog policy to be quite stringent. On both occasions, we were informed that dogs were not allowed, without any inquiry into whether our dog was indeed a service animal. The first staff member we encountered was pleasant and, upon learning about the service dog, permitted us to continue shopping. However, the second person who approached us during our subsequent visit appeared to be a manager. She was immediately confrontational and wrongly insisted that only guide dogs were considered service animals, which is clearly inaccurate. One would expect someone in a leadership position at a larger establishment like this to prioritize customer service and possess a basic understanding of service animals.
Needless to say, this experience left us with a negative impression. Dealing with this type of discrimination regularly can be quite disheartening.

Great selection, really fresh and neat...
Russell Price (03/08/2025, 10:38):
Popped into the café this morning at 8:30am, thinking it opened at 8:00am, only to be informed it wouldn't open until 8:45am. Finally opened at 8:50am, regretted my visit as the table was filthy and I had to clean it myself. The coffee mugs were still dirty even though they had supposedly been washed, the bacon was greasy and undercooked, and the staff seemed uninterested in being there. Overall, a disappointing experience and I won't be returning. It's been two weeks since I left this review and Morrisons has yet to respond. It appears they only engage with positive comments. 😒
Douglas Nguyen (03/08/2025, 07:00):
I recently visited the café for a bite to eat and some drinks. The staff were welcoming, but they could definitely use a few extra pairs of hands. One lady mentioned she was managing all the cooking by herself, which made for quite a spectacle. Adding to the chaos, one of the coffee machines decided to go on strike, leading to a line for hot beverages that seemed to extend all the way to next week.
