We only tried the café, the drinks machine was rather slow and the beverages were served cold. The Scottish breakfast, although hearty, was a disappointment as the egg was undercooked and also cold. We found a lack of clean cutlery or napkins, and the tables were not properly cleaned, with some even stacked with trays of dirty dishes. This was mainly due to the trolley carts being full of similar unclean trays and dishes. Overall, we cannot recommend this experience.

There's never anyone manning the self-checkout, and when you finally manage to find someone, they always act as if it's the biggest hardship in the world for them to do their job. Having 4 tills with customers waiting for staff assistance is simply not acceptable.
Nancy Anderson (16/07/2025, 13:25):
Morrison's is a properly stocked emporium and has all the bits and bobs I need, including a splendid array of fresh nosh. There's always a jolly tune playing, which I quite fancy as it enhances the entire affair. And don't get me started on the staff! Absolutely smashing! Proper friendly and ever so helpful.
Hannah Peterson (16/07/2025, 10:52):
Not too bad, but the rubbish by the entrance and in the garden is absolutely dreadful. Just an hour of work every week, consistently, would transform it from a store with terrible curb appeal to a clean and inviting place. Speaking as a frequent customer, and one with options.
Bradley Ortiz (16/07/2025, 00:38):
Just received my order from Deliveroo and can you believe it, 4 items missing and no receipt in the bag. Looks like someone at this Morrisons is trying to pull a fast one. Thanks for ruining my Sunday roast. Absolutely disgraceful.
Jason Sanchez (15/07/2025, 15:18):
The eatery was rather disappointing...no staff in sight...waited for a good 10 minutes...finally had to raise my voice and exclaim a hearty "Hello" to grab someone's attention...only to be informed that assistance would arrive shortly... I bear no ill will towards the staff, as it was evident they were short-staffed...Management ought to assess their staffing requirements as they are turning away patrons...I witnessed 6 duos depart...Hardly beneficial for business...and all this happened at the stroke of noon..!!

I found everything I needed for my shopping basket, the store was tidy and well-kept, the staff were friendly and accommodating. Additionally, there was ample parking available in the car park.
Zoey Price (12/07/2025, 04:51):
Plenty of parking space, a cozy café, and even a car wash service available at this Supermarket. It's truly convenient for all your shopping needs!
Janice Morgan (11/07/2025, 05:29):
Leanne was absolutely brilliant at fixing my issue with the faulty one4All gift card. She really saved me from a huge hassle.
Jose Ortiz (06/07/2025, 09:04):
Lovely spot and quite spacious. The staff is always so pleasant, as I've consistently observed during all my trips to Morrison's supermarket. There's a bus stop right in front as soon as you step out of the supermarket premises. Some items are truly more affordable compared to other supermarkets.
Dorothy Watson (06/07/2025, 08:41):
There seems to be a lack of staff in the cafe and at the checkout tills. My family and I usually go to Morrisons on Sunday mornings for breakfast and shopping with our two little ones, meeting up with their grandad and auntie. However, we have noticed a decline in the quality of service in recent months. The portion sizes for breakfast have been decreasing, often served lukewarm. It's also common for simple items like scrambled or poached eggs to be unavailable, despite there being plenty of eggs in the store.

This past week, I waited nearly 5 minutes alone to order breakfast as the staff seemed to have disappeared. After breakfast, when we went to do our shopping, there were no cashiers at the tills, only self-service options available. This made the checkout process slow and challenging with young children, and it was confusing for elderly individuals. My partner had to assist grandad in using the self-checkout after we completed our shopping.

Morrisons is convenient for us as it's just down the road, but we are now considering shopping elsewhere due to these issues.
Bryan Campbell (05/07/2025, 23:54):
The staff is quite friendly but seems a bit stretched thin. It would be beneficial to have additional team members in the cafe area.
Emily Bailey (05/07/2025, 19:43):
Not the most pleasant shopping experience. The wait times at the manned checkout were quite cumbersome. The café has been updated to an order-by-screen system. However, there is only one screen available!
Teresa Nguyen (30/06/2025, 17:13):
I popped over to the cash machine last night just before the store closed, and to my surprise, not a single light was on in the car park, plunging it into complete darkness. Even the street lights leading up to the shop were switched off. It's rather concerning; if they have a cash line available, the lights should definitely remain on for safety reasons.

As for the cafe, where I ordered a cooked breakfast, it was meant to be a FULL English, but when it arrived, I was disappointed to find there was no bacon, only one burnt sausage, and my fried egg was overly slimy and undercooked. When I brought this up with the staff, they boldly claimed that it was supposed to be that way and that if I desired a different preparation, I should have specified it in advance! The service was shocking, filled with ignorance and disrespect, as they refused to take any responsibility for the subpar meal. Needless to say, I will not be dining there again.
Keith Simmons (28/06/2025, 17:43):
I really appreciate the smart layout of this supermarket, where the food aisles are positioned next to non-food items, making it more convenient to navigate through the store without having to walk the entire length of each aisle. I have observed that their prices are now just as competitive, if not lower, than Asda's. Additionally, the staff at this store seem to be more relaxed and friendly, creating a pleasant shopping experience overall.
Albert Kim (27/06/2025, 08:32):
I must say, I was quite impressed with the quality of the products and the prices at this supermarket today.

I was particularly happy to see that they had a café in the store. After finishing up my grocery shopping, I decided to treat myself to a cup of tea and a pastry. However, I was taken aback when I was informed, as I tried to pay for my café treats, that "shopping trolleys were not permitted in the café." I was asked to leave my purchases unattended in the café area (at my own risk) while I returned my trolley to the trolley park outside the store. The café is quite spacious, and my trolley full of goods could have easily fit without posing a risk to other customers. I found this policy to be a bit much, so I ended up leaving the café, abandoning my tea and pastry on the counter.

Unlike this supermarket, Waitrose doesn't have a café, but customers can enjoy a coffee in their stores without needing to navigate through obstacles with full shopping trolleys. When I called the store to address the issue, I was met with a recorded message stating that "staff were serving the nation" and was directed to numerous phone numbers.
Albert Henderson (27/06/2025, 01:16):
I recently popped into the cafe and decided to give their baked potato a try. I was quite disappointed as the portion of tuna that came with it was measly small. To make matters worse, the baked potato had unsightly black marks running through it, which made it far from appetizing. Typically, I expect baked potatoes to be a decent size, but this one was tiny. This experience certainly doesn't leave me eager to return anytime soon.
Evelyn Peterson (26/06/2025, 18:59):
The initial fresh milk fridge wasn't working properly, specifically the compartment with the blue labeled milk where the bottles felt warmer than those in the last fridge. Apart from that issue, everything else was in order.
Gloria Brooks (26/06/2025, 13:47):
Reasonably fine on the inside. My only qualm arose at the till where I was denied purchase of Anti Allergy medication due to a lack of ID.

I grasp the Challenge 25 policy, yet there ought to be a touch of common sense when it's obvious that I'm a decade older than the 16-year-old age threshold. Nonetheless, the manager handled the situation with empathy.
Karen Diaz (24/06/2025, 21:05):
I'm a caregiver working in a care home, and let me tell you, this past week has felt like a marathon! After finishing my shift today, I braved the supermarket for my weekly grocery run. But oh my, when I got there, I spotted this massive queue snaking around the corner. Just when I thought it couldn't get any longer, it did! Feeling absolutely shattered, I didn't fancy waiting in line and decided to head back to my car. Suddenly, this security guard (I wish I caught his name, he was on duty Friday the 22nd around 5:30 PM) must have noticed my weary expression as I turned back. He spotted my work badge and called out to me, leading me to the front of the line and getting me in next. And let me tell you, he was just as kind and considerate with other shoppers too. After such a tough week, this unexpected act of kindness nearly brought tears to my eyes. I wanted to give him a big hug right there, but alas, rules are rules, right? Thank you so much for brightening my day. I'm sure you spread joy to many others too. xx
