Currently, this Asda has won me over as my top choice! I'm loving the interior layout, the variety of products available, and the convenience of having the toilets on the ground level. Plus, it's conveniently located near Strathclyde Country Park. The only downside for me is that it's a shame the cash machines are tucked away around a corner, rather than being prominently placed at the front for all shoppers to easily spot!

This was the final stop of the night for me and my 30 weeks pregnant partner on our fruitless search to get our gas card topped up at 11.30 pm.
The colleagues in Asda Blantyre (who were absolutely useless) had told us that this store should be able to assist us. Considering we're from East Kilbride, my partner is heavily pregnant, and it was a cold winter's evening, we went there believing our issue would be resolved after a long search trying to top up our meter.
Upon arrival, we approached a staff member to inquire about using the paypoint to top up our gas card. They informed us that the paypoint is turned off at 9 pm and they weren't sure why their colleagues in Blantyre had directed us there.
It's particularly frustrating as the paypoint website indicates they are a 24-hour service. I inquired if a manager was available who could potentially "turn it back on," only to be told that there wasn't one present. My heavily pregnant partner is now in tears in bed, feeling cold and unsupported. Thanks, Asda. The signs on the door say "Happy to help," but clearly, that wasn't the case!

Oh my word, the experience was dreadful! I found myself in a right pickle at the checkouts - long queues stretching as far as the eye could see! There were heaps of unmanned checkouts, and don't even get me started on the self-service shenanigans. It was a proper bother, as the bloomin' thing kept stopping, refusing to register lightweight items being placed in the bags. Oh, it's been quite some time since I last popped into Asda, and after this fiasco, I reckon it'll be eons before I muster the courage to go back. Perhaps I'll give Tesco a go next time; at least they seem to open new checkouts pronto when queues start forming. Cheers!

Decent store, but parking is an absolute nightmare. Why bother with that upper level parking - with over 100 spots - if it's always closed off, forcing everyone to battle for spots on the lower level? I was shopping in this store on Monday, 25th April, in the afternoon. I picked up some flowers that were displayed on a stand with a sign indicating 50% off. When I reached the checkout, I asked the cashier to verify the discount. She was very kind and informed me that the flowers were still full price. She called for someone to double-check, and after 10 minutes, another staff member arrived with a bit of an attitude and mentioned that the discount should have been applied. She went to confirm and then sent another colleague to inform me that the offer only applied to plants. However, the sign did not specify that it was for plants only.
I went to customer service, and the lady there checked with her colleague and had them remove the flowers. I believe Asda should ensure their point of sale signage is accurate in the future. Some staff members were quite rude and are negatively impacting your store.

Disabled parking bays are not being monitored for blue badges and are often used by those without disabilities. It would be beneficial for Asda to show more consideration for people with disabilities. If you stay in the car park for more than 3 hours, you are quickly issued a fixed penalty, but it seems they are unable to monitor the disabled bays. Hopefully, Asda will take this into account.

Bought some Panku Korean beef noodles today, November 16th, for £5.95. I specifically inquired with a staff member who was stocking the shelves if the meal was spicy. I even asked twice to confirm before buying it, and he assured me it wasn't spicy. However, upon heating it up at home, I found it to be too spicy for my liking and had to throw it away. Quite disappointed with this experience.

I have been shopping at this Asda in Hamilton since it first opened, and I must say, I am now considering stopping. The litter on the roads leading to the store, as well as in the car park, is quite off-putting. The front paths to the store are covered in chewing gum, the plants look neglected, and the entrance and exit system inside the store is just ridiculous. Overall, the store has a tired appearance, which impacts the entire shopping experience.

Just came out of this Asda store after being talked down to by a staff member who was guarding a milk spillage without any signs around 15:25. Being weeks away from giving birth, I was trying to get the last few things I needed, but due to the attitude of this female staff member, I just left my trolley and walked out. I was really upset by the way she spoke to me and her hostile comment, which I don't think she realized I overheard until I told her it was cheeky, all because I accidentally stepped in a bit of the spilled milk.

I popped in to grab 3 school uniforms for my lads and what a disappointing experience it was. Ended up with one pair of shorts and 2 oversized T-shirts - the selection was just not up to par. The waffle chips were an utter disaster - dry and burnt, they might as well have been dog treats. On the bright side, the macaroni pie was a hit and the kiddos devoured the chicken legs.
