I must say, I find meself a bit puzzled with the whole situation. The website clearly states that Asda in Perth closes up shop at 12, except on Saturdays when it's 10. On a few occasions, I've popped in around 11:20 or 11:30 just to grab a quick snack after a day's work, only to be greeted by a staff member informing me they're about to lock the doors or hearing an announcement on the tannoy saying they're closing up and asking customers to make their way to the checkout. It would make sense if folks were coming in with full trolleys for a big shop, but the people I see there are just like meself, popping in for a quick snack. I can't quite fathom why there's a set closing time if they're planning to shut up half an hour earlier than what's advertised on the door and website.

Shelves bare, aisles blocked off, self-scan machines out of order, only 4 tills operating, and impolite staff, just to mention a few. Even though I live close to Asda, I will be patronizing Morrisons from now on.

I was quite disappointed with my experience at Asda Perth this morning. We had 2 trolleys full of shopping and had to use a self-service till as there were no manned tills open at 7:15 am on Christmas Eve. The girl managing the self-service tills was really overwhelmed with a long line of trolleys waiting.
