The staff are absolutely no help at all and appear to take pleasure in being unhelpful, evident from the looks on their faces while they stand about sharing gossip. There are no staff members at the checkouts aside from the self-service till. No support provided for customers with disabilities. A completely disheartening shopping experience, I felt quite down as I wandered through the store wondering, "why am I even here?"

I popped into Asda in Kirkcaldy today and found meself in a bit of a pickle deciding how dry a certain rose wine on special was. Thankfully, two lovely staff members came to me rescue and guided me through it all. I must say, 'twas the best help I've received in a store in quite some time. Cheers to them!

I visited the supermarket tonight to purchase antiseptic cream. After scanning the shelves, I couldn't locate any, so I approached a staff member in the first aid department for assistance. She promised to return shortly, but instead, she hastily glanced at some boxes and rudely informed me that there was no stock before storming off. I was appalled by her behavior and lack of customer service. This unfortunate incident occurred at the Kirkcaldy store, and needless to say, I will not be returning.

Absolutely dreadful customer service experience at the Kirkcaldy store, I shall certainly not be returning!
I was overcharged and when I approached the customer service desk for a refund, after standing in line for 15 minutes, I was informed that refunds were not possible.
When I requested to speak to someone who could assist me, I was told that they were on a break and there was no indication of when they would return.
Upon asking to escalate the matter to a manager, I was accused of being impolite.
Eventually, the individual returned from their break and after an additional half hour, I finally received my refund. Not one person offered an apology for their mistake or the extensive wait I endured.
This store will not have the pleasure of my custom again.

This store is absolutely massive, with a wide range of products in stock. The prices are really good compared to other places.
The staff are just brilliant, so friendly and always ready to lend a hand.

Not sure why some folks are haverin about the new layout, it's actually helping to catch light-fingered folk 🦝

I must say, I had the most embarrassing encounter at this supermarket. I swear, I will never step foot in that place again. Can you believe it, they said if you accidentally drop your coins on the floor, it magically becomes the property of ASDA! And if you dare to pick it up, well then you're suddenly a thief! Madness, I tell you. I was accused of stealing and had a manager kick me out. I'm nearly 30 years old and they treated me like a naughty child! Besides their dreadful customer service, the aisles are a mess and their products gather dust. Every grocer should be clean, right? I strongly advise avoiding this store at all costs. Aldi is a much superior option, trust me.

Oh dear, what a debacle at the supermarket! The staff seem to have their hands full, quite literally with bags attached to their arms. When I politely inquired about getting a bag, I was told to wait a minute. So, I patiently stood there, only to witness the staff member still engrossed in conversation. It seemed like forever, but I understand they have their duties. Needless to say, I ended up leaving with my items in hand as I prefer a quick in-and-out shopping experience. Despite the slight inconvenience, they were swift to charge me 30p for the bag!

Often, the staff act as if you're invisible, rudely cutting you off with a pallet truck and leaving it in your way. The sheer amount of expired products I've come across is staggering. It's essential to meticulously check every expiration date. There have been numerous occasions where I've had to throw away expired items from this store. The staff should be more proactive and actually do their job instead of loitering, gossiping, and mindlessly restocking shelves. One would think they hire someone to monitor expiration dates - is that person blind? Hiring more competent employees is definitely necessary.

I popped into Asda today with my partner for a spot of lunch and decided to grab two energy drinks. Suddenly, this new cashier, I believe, asked me for my ID, which I didn't have on me. I assured her I was 25, and even some other customers chimed in, saying I looked over 18. I felt quite embarrassed, as it was the first time I've ever been ID'd for energy drinks at Asda. I don't even get carded for alcohol! Absolute joke, thanks Asda.

The lack of available check-out operators and the customer chaos caused by the hand-held scanner system made for a less-than-pleasant experience. Supermarket is a jolly good spot to grab all your daily groceries and then some, I must say. The chaps and gals on staff are a friendly bunch, ever so helpful and at your beck and call. The loo is always spick and span, top-notch cleanliness there. Loads of free parking for your motor, and quite the steal at the petrol station, I dare say.

Every bloomin' time I place an order on the Just Eat app, I always end up missing multiple bits and bobs from my order when ordering from this shop. Why on earth are items constantly going AWOL from my order? If they ain't got it in stock, Asda ought to be refunding me through the Just Eat app for these missing items. I keep 'aving to ask for me money back for the stuff that's gone walkabout via the app and most times, they're turning me down flat out which means Just Eat are swiping me dosh and Asda is to blame. I ain't 'aving this bother with anyone else, just this blummin' shop. Either sort me out a refund for the items they ain't got or make sure all the bits and bobs that I've ordered actually turn up. It shouldn't be too much to ask for, right?

I understand the concerns about providing potentially harmful items to young people, but plastic cutlery?! My daughter, who is fifteen years old, was denied service. Even when my wife tried to purchase the items separately, she was also refused because they were together and my daughter had already been declined service! It's simply unbelievable! In the end, we decided to go to Sainsbury's instead. Thank you, Asda!

I visited this supermarket on Tuesday, December 13th. As I am in a wheelchair, I needed to use the wide checkout lane. After scanning all my items, the total came to £346.16. I presented £250 worth of Asda vouchers to the cashier and had £100 in cash ready for payment. To my surprise, the cashier informed me that I needed to pay £195. I politely disagreed, but her response was quite rude. She insisted that I pay the amount she stated. I stood my ground and asked her to double-check. After nearly 10 minutes of back and forth, she finally realized that she had only entered £1 instead of £100.

Although mistakes happen, I was deeply upset by the cashier's attitude throughout the ordeal. Her lack of customer service skills was disheartening. It will be a while before I consider returning to Asda, considering there are plenty of other supermarkets in Kirkcaldy to choose from. I did try to address the issue with the customer service desk, but I was informed that there were no managers available to assist at that time. This experience left me feeling very dissatisfied.

The shopping carts are never picked up. I use the smaller cart and have to search all over the parking lot to find one. The handheld scanners hardly ever work, often showing no stocked items. The inventory levels are a joke. I work in Kirkcaldy but live in Cardenden. Now, I'm starting to shop at Tesco (fire station) Dunfermline, which is 1000% better.

Always find the shelves well stocked and can locate most items needed at Asda. It's a lovely spacious store, with a sizeable clothing section and a well-organized pharmacy. Prices have increased, but not as steeply as in other supermarkets. They also offer services such as a photo department and key cutting. Additionally, there's a McDonald's and a Krispy Kreme stand. Mornings before 9am are peaceful with easy parking. The only downside is the chaotic cigarette kiosk, which doubles up as a customer service desk with usually only one person handling it, resulting in long queues and wait times.
