This store is spotlessly clean, with a peaceful atmosphere and welcoming staff. The clothing selection is top-notch, and while some items may be slightly more expensive, the overall prices are fair for the excellent quality of the food. I've even included a photo of some salmon for reference, to show just how fantastic the produce is.
Thomas Moore (20/06/2025, 17:29):
The staff at Sainsbury's are absolutely top-notch, always striking up a friendly chat that leaves me feeling uplifted after my visit. Plus, I never fail to find my favorite products in the basket as well. Cheers to a delightful shopping experience!
Doris Graham (20/06/2025, 08:53):
This store is massive, with a vast selection of homeware, clothing, and, of course, an excellent variety of food and groceries. It can be a tad pricey if you're not a Nectar cardholder. There's also a self-service gas station on the premises. Plenty of parking spaces available for free, with convenient wheelchair accessibility. Overall, a great store to visit.

I 'ad a round token that didn't quite fit the coin slot on the trolley. I asked the staff about it, and they assured me it would work. But even they couldn't get it to cooperate and just walked off. I ended up lugging around a heavy handbasket instead. I found the prices to be rather steep, and there was only one lass at the checkout counter. Wasn't too pleased with the experience. Don't reckon I'll be going back anytime soon.
Daniel Howard (17/06/2025, 13:28):
Decent quality products, a tad pricier than Lidl or Aldi, but I do enjoy popping in for a shop every now and then. Particularly impressed by the top-notch fruit and veg, and the meat and poultry section is pretty good too (though could use some better rotation at times).
Overall, quite a lovely store experience!!

I do understand that rules must be adhered to at this moment, however, your Security Guard should be more consistent!!! My spouse and I were informed that only one of us could enter your establishment today. As we walked away, we glanced back to witness four couples being permitted to enter one by one!

I had an absolutely dreadful experience at Sainsbury's. As a person of color, my friend and I faced blatant racism from one of their staff members.

Upon entering the store just to look for a drink, we were immediately accused of theft. The staff member's accusations were not only baseless but also accompanied by racial insults. Despite our requests to check the CCTV footage to prove our innocence, we were rudely dismissed and denied access.

Furthermore, the staff member had the nerve to question what was in my pocket, which turned out to be my phone. This racial profiling persisted as we were accused of concealing drinks, even though we didn't have any in our possession.

To make matters worse, we were then told to leave the store without any legitimate reason. It's evident that if we were white, we wouldn't have been treated so shamefully.

It's disheartening that racism is still accepted in places like Sainsbury's in this time and age. I encourage fellow customers, particularly non-white individuals, to steer clear of this store. Every customer should be treated with respect and fairness, regardless of their skin color.

Superb bargains with a Nectar card.
Bruce Jones (09/06/2025, 03:37):
Everything is going well in the new normal. There are plenty of discounts on fresh fruits and other items. The store isn't too crowded, so it's easy for me to navigate all the aisles and find exactly what I need. No updates to report, everything remains the same.
Roger Gutierrez (06/06/2025, 15:34):
This supermarket has a wide range of groceries and plenty of parking available. One inconvenience is the requirement of having a pound coin or alternative to use a trolley.
Christian Jordan (06/06/2025, 15:08):
Almost wòrth it fòr the non-food selectìon of góods alòne. There's a massìve portìon of the stòre dedìcated to clòthìng, home decòr, entertàinment, gardenìng and a sìzeable café. The foòd selectìon ìs a bìt hít and mìss, and oddly arrànged. Sò much sò that ìt càn sómetìmes be a bìt dìffìcult fìndìng a certàìn pròduct. The stòre cóuld dò wìth ópenìng a few móre tìlls dùrìng the dàytime, wìth ónly twó ón (not còuntìng the self-servìce basket-ònly ónes) hòwever ìt ìs stìll a good plàce to shòp.
Larry Martinez (05/06/2025, 05:41):
I just spent a good 2 and a half hours doing my grocery shopping at the supermarket, using the phone scanning system. When I headed to the quick pay counter with my two large trolleys full of items totaling £220, I thought it would be a breeze. However, a staff member had to check my items due to an error in pricing and barcodes. Although they only needed to check 18 items, it ended up taking another half hour as everything had to be manually processed at the checkout.

Needless to say, I wasn't too pleased with the delay. But surprise, surprise - the total the checkout operator calculated manually was exactly the same as what I had on my phone.
Henry Scott (03/06/2025, 06:44):
I absolutely adore shopping at this supermarket! Today, they're offering a fabulous 25% off on all clothing items - what a steal! Plus, the fact that there's an Argos store within the premises just adds to the convenience.

Their meat is top-notch quality, and the fresh fruits and vegetables never disappoint. And let's not forget about the great prices - always a win in my book! A day out here is always a treat for me.
Paul Robinson (02/06/2025, 05:05):
I absolutely adore the supermarket, but I must say, I find the coupon system quite bothersome. The loyalty card, where points were instantly added at the till and you could easily check your balance at checkout, now that was a far superior system. It's a shame that everything is supposed to be paperless, yet we seem to be drowning in coupons!
Jose Richardson (30/05/2025, 15:22):
Great big store, with lots of helpful staff and a fantastic variety of products to choose from. However, the single entrance and exit can get really crowded with the amount of traffic it gets.
Wayne Roberts (26/05/2025, 02:53):
My missus popped down to the shop today hunting for some Christmas threads like PJs and dressing gowns, was preparing to hit up 2-3 different stores but to our surprise she found everything she needed in one go at this particular shop. She splurged £150 on clothes for our grandkids plus a few extras, so I was relieved I didn't have to dash around like a madman searching for things when we got everything at Sainsbury's. Big kudos to them for keeping their store well-stocked!
Timothy King (23/05/2025, 05:19):
I popped into this supermarket on the Saturday morning of 23rd November 2024. To my disappointment, none of the conventional checkouts were open, only self-service available. I came to shop, not to play the role of a checkout operator as well. If I were looking for extra work, I would've sought out a job application. The customer service at this store leaves much to be desired, with a clear priority on maximizing profits rather than prioritizing customer experience.
Joseph Powell (21/05/2025, 09:12):
I do declare, I shan't be patronizing this establishment anew. 'Tis the second occasion whereupon I've been accosted upon entering the store. Whilst I comprehend the Covid regulations, should I be accompanied by another party, I shall not expound upon the reasons why, nor ought I to be treated as though I've transgressed a law! This very day, a lady barred my path at the threshold, somewhat flouting the Covid distancing rule by positioning herself directly afore me and insisting that I must shop in solitude. When I mentioned my companion hails from a distinct domicile, she bade me fetch separate baskets, remain silent, and maintain a distance betwixt us! I'm bemused by the authority she assumes, 'tis rather comical indeed. On the prior occasion, an elderly dame stationed at the entrance demanded I shop unaccompanied; upon my refusal, she summoned her male companion to subject me to an interrogation ere granting me entry, only to loudly exclaim, "You're the cause for another's exclusion!" due to a queue, seeking to publicly shame me perchance incite discord with those waiting. 'Tis utterly abhorrent conduct. I now feel dreadfully ill at ease frequenting that emporium and vow never to grace its thresholds again.
Catherine Gutierrez (19/05/2025, 22:16):
I quite fancy Sainsbury's and it's one of my preferred supermarkets, however, my recent experiences have left me feeling hesitant about going back. During my last couple of visits, I've been put off by a certain employee (a middle-aged chap with light brown hair and black glasses) who seems to always question me as I enter the store. He was rather abrupt and accused me of shopping with someone else (even though I was alone), simply because we happened to walk in at the same time. Despite my explanations, he continued questioning me. This bloke is dreadfully rude and really made me feel on edge. I get that he's just following the new COVID-19 guidelines, but his approach is downright uncomfortable and I can't help but think others feel the same way.
Theresa Morris (19/05/2025, 18:46):
I fancy this store, the staff are exceedingly helpful and amiable. I frequent it for my shopping and refueling needs, and it remains a top-notch establishment. The employees continue to excel in their service, making it a delightful shopping destination. On one occasion, a till was about to close, yet the cashier kindly assisted me promptly so I could swiftly acquire what I required. Indeed, it remains an exceptional store.
