In-store Experiences and Service Options

While the store itself offers an extensive range of health and beauty products, many customers have voiced concerns regarding the pharmacy section. Reports indicate that the pharmacy often has long waiting times, with customers experiencing delays while collecting prescriptions. It's not unusual to see queues stretching for over 30 minutes, which can be frustrating for those needing their medication promptly. Despite the issues at the pharmacy, customers appreciate the overall ambiance of the store. Reviews highlight that the store has a large and airy layout, making in-store shopping a pleasant experience. For those who prefer to bypass the queue, in-store pick-up options are available, allowing for a quicker visit to retrieve online orders.

Planning Your Visit

If you plan a visit to Boots in Kirkcaldy, it may be wise to time your arrival to avoid peak hours, particularly if you need pharmacy services. The store is generally well-stocked and ready to meet your health and beauty needs, but given the pharmacy's recent service challenges, planning your trip can save you considerable time.

Final Thoughts

In summary, Boots in Kirkcaldy stands out as a well-stocked store offering ample products for self-grooming and wellness. While the pharmacy's customer service has room for improvement, the general shopping experience remains positive. Great efficient prescription service. There was a bit of a queue, but that's just a testament to how popular the store is.
Joshua Kelly (02/07/2025, 11:58):
This pharmacy is an absolute joke, I say! I popped in today and was informed that their computers were on the blink, which is understandable. However, the service I received from a rather unpleasant lady was simply dreadful. She seemed quite miffed that I hadn't noticed the sign at the front of Boots stating the computer issues. Such rudeness, I must say! Whatever happened to good old-fashioned kindness, eh? They really ought to brush up on their customer service skills or perhaps consider a different line of work. Cheers!
Brenda Harris (29/06/2025, 22:48):
Definitely not the best pharmacy around! While it's great that they have unique items that other stores don't carry, the time it takes to drop off a prescription is longer than going through the entire process of applying for a job as a pharmaceutical salesperson, going through interviews, training, and getting some free samples!!!

And to top it off, as I'm writing this while waiting in line... I'll probably have to go through it all over again tomorrow. They really need to work on improving their process.
Nicole Jordan (29/06/2025, 10:14):
A charming lady assisted me and showed genuine interest in my purchases. She guided me through the process of obtaining the advantage card, explaining each step clearly. To my surprise, she seamlessly linked my points from my other Boots card, which I had forgotten about due to my recent travels abroad.
Roger Hughes (28/06/2025, 18:03):
I was proper busy when I popped by, had to queue up for ages at the chemist, like. There weren't many staff about, only 2 on the tills, but the wait in line wasn't too bad in the end. Cheers!
Brittany Garcia (27/06/2025, 20:04):
I 'ave been tryin' to ring the pharmacy on and off for 3 days, but no one seems to pick up the phone. Boots used to be the go-to for pharmacies, but now they couldn't give a toss. Looks like I better be goin' somewhere else.
Diane Baker (27/06/2025, 10:48):
The staff at the beauty supply store were so helpful and cheery. They provided great advice and offered friendly service.
Julia Nelson (27/06/2025, 01:38):
The chemist section is bustling, but the staff are keeping their spirits high. However, the wait time for prescriptions is currently up to 45 minutes, which is quite inconvenient.
Richard Ortiz (25/06/2025, 11:45):
Oh, it was a decent experience when I visited the beauty supply store. I was looking for bio oil but couldn't locate it, so I approached an employee. She was extremely helpful and guided me straight to the product. It was a pleasant interaction overall.
Leonard Graham (23/06/2025, 15:48):
I wouldn't recommend this place for any prescriptions. It's not fast or convenient at all. I had to wait in line, fifth in line, and it still took almost 30 minutes to get served. It was just ridiculously slow. This will be my first and last time using this shop for anything.
Joshua Long (23/06/2025, 05:10):
I found myself at the chemist with a watery and red eye, but the chemist declined to sell me eye drops even though I was prepared to pay for them myself. It's a right shame that in a country where we pay our dues, we can still be refused treatment even when we're more than happy to cover the cost ourselves...
Kelly Kim (22/06/2025, 17:10):
Located conveniently with ample parking, this beauty supply store carries all the essentials you would typically find at Boots. The gentleman who assisted me today was delightful, although my encounters with the rest of the staff in this branch have not always been as pleasant. I have noticed that the store appears a bit worn and disorganized lately. Nevertheless, I was able to find everything I needed, which is always a plus.
Joe Young (20/06/2025, 02:35):
Oh, what a lovely and spacious Boots store with a great selection of products to choose from. The range of items is quite impressive! Convenient and free parking available as part of the retail park adds to the shopping experience. The staff, typical of Boots, were as helpful as always.
Roy Sullivan (16/06/2025, 19:19):
What a delightful store! They have everything you need for beauty, including perfumes, clothing, and gift sets. 🎁
Frank Collins (13/06/2025, 12:44):
Review focused solely on the beauty supply store.
This is perhaps the fifth or sixth time that my order has mysteriously gone missing. The staff seem to simply ignore you until it is convenient for them, and a couple of them could really use some training in customer service as their skills in this area are severely lacking. This establishment never used to be like this, so I'm not sure what has changed, but they definitely need to take a good look at their operations and make some improvements.
Mia Lewis (12/06/2025, 10:03):
HEAT NOT FUNCTIONING IN STORE TODAY... BY 12 PM..
Big ups to all of you who smiled and helped me out.
Your chilly red hands, but still with smiles on your faces.
BOOTS SHOULD BE EXTREMELY THANKFUL TO HAVE YOU.
Lucy Graham (11/06/2025, 23:26):
What a complete mess!
I attempted to schedule an appointment for a flu shot, but after 10 minutes of employees fumbling over computer time slots, I threw in the towel and walked out.
Please, get your act together!!
Kenneth Butler (11/06/2025, 08:03):
Fantastic store with easy access. Situated in the bustling Fife Central Retail Park, there's ample parking available. The pharmacy service is top-notch here. They were able to order items that were out of stock for me and I had them in hand the very next day. The shop is always well-stocked with great deals. The Boots advantage card is one of the best loyalty cards around, as it offers actual monetary value instead of just points.

The staff were so friendly, knowledgeable, and super helpful. The store had everything I was looking for, and there was plenty of free parking available.
Donna Ford (04/06/2025, 05:14):
I understand that during a pandemic stores may limit the number of customers allowed inside. However, there were no signs at Boots indicating this policy. I encountered a staff member at the door who was quite rude and seemed to look down on me. The store was not crowded and there were no clear markings for queuing, so it was confusing to know their intentions when just the week before it was fine to enter normally. I have filed a complaint about this staff member and will now be shopping at local stores instead. It seemed like I wasn't the only one being judged based on the expressions of others in the store.
