I must say, the experience I had at this pharmacy was absolutely appalling. It is unacceptable to be treated in such a disrespectful manner just because of one rude staff member. I felt very uncomfortable and unsafe when my full address, including flat number, was called out in front of another customer.
I have medication with a significant street value and live in a neighborhood where there have been incidents of drug use and inappropriate behavior. The fact that there is no security door in place is concerning. No one intervened when another customer was behaving inappropriately. Why was there no action taken? Is it because he throws tantrums if confronted?
I should not be forced to disclose my complete address if I do not feel comfortable doing so. It is not mandatory, and yet the staff member insisted that I go to a different pharmacy. This is not how customer service should be handled.
I have valid reasons for my concerns, and it is frustrating that this particular staff member has always been rude to me. However, I have witnessed him treating my support worker with utmost respect. It seems like he plays favorites and models his behavior after a character from "Are You Being Served," which is not appropriate. Instead of being yelled at by a rude individual, I expect to be treated with dignity and professionalism.

THE TEAM AT THIS PHARMACY IS EXTREMELY HELPFUL AND FRIENDLY. MANY PEOPLE COME HERE FOR METHADONE, BUT IT'S A SAFER ALTERNATIVE TO HEROIN OR PRESCRIPTION DRUGS. IT'S UNFAIR TO LABEL EVERYONE AS "JUNKIES," AS I MYSELF BECAME ADDICTED TO CODEINE AFTER A WORKPLACE INJURY. LIKE MOST PHARMACIES, THERE MAY BE SOME UNDESIRABLE INDIVIDUALS, BUT NOT EVERYONE IS. The Gentleman serving at the pharmacy seems to be rather unreliable, as he consistently makes errors on my monthly prescription pickups. He tends to shift blame onto doctors or other factors instead of owning up to his own mistakes. There was a recent incident where he erroneously informed me that my antidepressant prescription had been discontinued by my doctor. Upon contacting my doctor, it was revealed that the pharmacist had actually received the repeat prescription on Friday and that all items were approved by the doctor. The doctor even mentioned that the antidepressant had been scanned at the chemist at 3:57. When I confronted the pharmacist again with this information, he continued to deny having received it until he finally checked and realized his error. There was no apology or explanation offered, and his overall attitude and lack of care for accuracy in his work is quite concerning. It is disappointing to be misled about such a crucial aspect of my medication. This experience reflects very poor service and raises doubts about the competence of this particular pharmacist. It seems he should take more responsibility and make efforts to address the recurring errors under his supervision. My doctor appears to have a better understanding of the prescriptions than he does, which is troubling. The service provided is far below expectations, reminiscent of a character like Basil Fawlty from a well-known sitcom.

This chemist is a bit of a mess, mate. Every time I pop in, they're scrambling to locate prescriptions, often ones that were dropped off a week prior. If you can't have a prescription ready after a week, then you're not running a tight ship, are you? The main focus at this chemist seems to be dispensing methadone - they give that priority over all other customers, it seems.
