I must say, the prescriptions are never ready or seem to regularly get misplaced. It's quite frustrating that they often refuse to do emergency prescriptions, even when it's their fault for misplacing them. This has happened to me the last three times, as I keep giving them another chance. The place is a complete mess, and politeness seems to only come from one person in the entire store.

I usually pick up my prescription here but I will be switching. The employees are quite impolite. They never say hello and always appear to be in a bad mood. Recently, there was a change to my prescription. When my husband went to collect it, he found out that the dosage of my pills had been doubled. The lady at the counter spoke to him as if he were a child, asking if he couldn't count the milligrams before pointing out her own mistake. There was no apology, she just threw the prescription at him. However, I can say one positive thing. There is one pharmacist, a short blonde lady with a husky voice, who is delightful! She is always helpful and offers pleasant advice. I understand that this pharmacy may be busy, but that is no excuse for having consistently rude staff!

I've never had any issues with this Pharmacy before. However, this morning when I called in response to a text message notifying me that my prescription was ready, I encountered a particularly unpleasant attitude from the lady who answered. She immediately asked if I wanted to be taken off the text list, insinuating that their purpose was to avoid having customers call in.

I explained that this wasn't always the case, and as I suspected, it turned out that the prescription needed to be ordered in. It was just after 8:30 am when I called. I have always been polite to the staff, and I understand that we are all under a lot of stress at the moment.

However, she really needs to work on her attitude towards people and improve her telephone manner. I was truly shocked. From the moment she answered the phone, I could sense that she was in a very bad mood. I work for the NHS, and I can assure you that I would receive a warning for such behavior. It was completely unnecessary!

I made it clear to her that I would be calling again tomorrow to check if my prescription is ready. I'm fairly certain I know which staff member I spoke to, as I recognize her voice from being a customer for many years. I couldn't find an email address to submit a complaint, so this was the next best option. But I will be coming in tomorrow and will file a written complaint once I find out who is in charge.
