Some patients find that their prescriptions are often not ready or that they face long wait times. Instances of poor customer service from staff have also been reported, indicating a need for improved training and management within the establishment. One customer mentioned, "I’ve waited 1 hour late for my medications," while another shared their frustration: "Every chemist is busy and don’t have these problems." The staff at this place are absolutely brilliant, always ready to lend a hand.
Victoria Sullivan (12/06/2025, 13:38):
I agree with the comments previously made regarding this pharmacy. My significant other receives regular prescriptions from this pharmacy, and our experience has consistently been frustrating and often incorrect. The doctor provides these prescriptions in good faith, trusting that the pharmacy will fulfill them accurately. If this establishment were not part of a larger organization, it would need to improve significantly or face closure. The employees are aware of this, and therein lies the problem. Boots should conduct undercover visits to these smaller pharmacies as mystery shoppers and reprimand them when they fail to meet expectations, as is frequently the case here.

What irks me the most is when there is a queue and no one is available to assist customers. We, as patrons, have lives beyond the pharmacy and deserve prompt service. I would relish the opportunity to work somewhere and treat the staff the way they treat us, though I doubt any other business would tolerate such treatment of their customers.

One star is far too generous of a rating for this pharmacy!
Samuel Henderson (08/06/2025, 02:09):
The chemist at Boots Craigshill is absolutely dreadful, I must say! It's like my prescription is never, ever ready, or there's always some sort of issue. The only reason I even bother going there is because the health centre insists on sending them my way. And their excuse? Oh, they're just too busy! But come on now, every chemist is busy, aren't they? And yet, somehow, they manage to avoid these kind of problems. Quite frustrating, if you ask me!
Christina Henderson (06/06/2025, 12:43):
The staff are lovely, although there are a couple of grumps, but generally a friendly bunch.
Evelyn Henderson (06/06/2025, 09:58):
I have been waiting for what seems like an eternity. The waiting time just goes on and on.
Olivia Young (06/06/2025, 06:38):
I've been having trouble with my prescriptions for years, they never seem to get it right. It's like a never-ending cycle of mistakes and corrections, only for the same issues to pop up again a few months later. However, I must say that the staff, despite the challenging circumstances they're facing since the Mall fire, are always kind and helpful.
Harold Rogers (05/06/2025, 14:14):
The sole pharmacy in Craigshill can get quite busy during peak hours. I have found the staff to be friendly and always willing to assist.
Lauren Long (05/06/2025, 03:25):

Gloria Alexander (04/06/2025, 01:02):
Hats off to the wonderful team at this pharmacy.
Martha Carter (03/06/2025, 10:01):
Some of the staff can be quite clueless at times, but Maureen is an absolute gem – always delightful to interact with!
David Flores (02/06/2025, 11:05):
I absolutely adore this pharmacy! The entire team is fantastic. Laura, the pharmacist, is simply wonderful. All of the staff are amazing, but Laura stands out as one of the pharmacists. If, like me, you find it difficult to open up to men for consultations, Laura or any other female staff members will make time for you to have a chat with them. I really appreciate this aspect of the shop and the friendly staff. Highly recommend!
Emma Myers (30/05/2025, 08:16):
Great content on Pharmacy blog, really helpful tips and information! Keep up the good work!
Richard Kim (27/05/2025, 06:01):
Excellent work, mate! Just stumbled upon your blog and I must say, top-notch content. Keep it up!
Anna Morris (23/05/2025, 07:02):
The staff was super helpful. My prescription was ready in no time at all.
Laura Myers (20/05/2025, 12:59):
Top-notch pharmacy, expert team, charming establishment.
Victoria Gonzalez (20/05/2025, 05:27):
I've been using this pharmacy for many years as I'm a type 1 diabetic. It's been quite frustrating how often my repeat prescriptions have been mishandled, delayed, or unavailable. Aside from Maureen, the counter staff leave much to be desired. Their lack of friendly service is disappointing. If this were my own business, I would feel ashamed.

Due to a fire in the mall, the pharmacy has been relocated to a small hut outside, so there has been a period of adjustment. However, it's been nearly a year since the incident and four months since the start of the Covid crisis – this should no longer be an acceptable excuse. The pharmacy's operations were subpar even before these events occurred.

If you're in a rush for a prescription and have access to a car, I'd recommend seeking services elsewhere to avoid unnecessary delays.
Ethan Patterson (18/05/2025, 05:39):
If I were to rate this establishment, I'd definitely give it naught stars. My old man required his injections put in on Friday, and we were informed they'd be ready by Tuesday. Come today, they still aren't prepared, and he desperately requires them. Quite frankly, this is the most horrid place imaginable! It ought to be shut down, and the staff should undergo retraining posthaste. Neglecting their duties and missing deadlines could potentially lead to someone's demise.
Raymond Murphy (15/05/2025, 08:02):
There are always long lines and frequently experience shortages of medications.
