The staff at this pharmacy were extremely helpful and knowledgeable.
Top-notch Pharmacy. The blond lad was incredibly helpful, I must say.
Absolutely dreadful experience at this pharmacy. Just yesterday, they handed me an already opened and partially used bottle for my prescription, with no accompanying leaflet or packaging. This morning, I returned to request a sealed, full bottle as is standard practice. The pharmacist, Ms. Nusrat Iqbal, tried to justify the situation by claiming it was normal to receive half-used bottles and even went as far as suggesting it was allowed. In disbelief, I insisted on having my prescription back to take it elsewhere. Shockingly, Ms. Iqbal refused to return it, leaving me feeling cheated and robbed of my own medication. It's Saturday now, and I've been left without my essential prescription all because of their incompetence and lack of care. It's no wonder there's always a line at the neighboring pharmacy around the corner. Terrible service, truly disappointing.
Just a heads up for those receiving prescriptions and dosset boxes. Today, I received a call from someone claiming to be Wells Pharmacy, informing me that my medications would be delivered tomorrow. They were aware that my dosset box had been delivered today, along with other items, and requested my debit card number and expiration date. Initially, I provided them with the expiration date before realizing something was off. Why would they need my card number? I immediately refused. Upon checking with the chemist, it turns out it was an attempted scam. Never disclose your card details to anyone. This was a new one for me. Luckily, I am a customer of Wells, who are always supportive, friendly, and offer sound advice. They are actively working to thwart these criminals.
I recently popped into Well Pharmacy Renfrew with a prescription in hand. The pharmacist mentioned the wait time would be around 20 to 30 minutes, and since I had some difficulty getting there, I decided to wait it out as I couldn't easily swing by again. I politely asked if I could perch on one of those chairs conveniently turned away for privacy, but the pharmacist declined, stating that customers weren't permitted to wait inside the shop. Instead, I was handed back my prescription to take elsewhere. Despite the shop accommodating 2 to 3 customers at a time even during lockdown, their refusal and lack of empathy towards my discomfort left me quite disappointed with their attitude and customer service.
This quaint little neighborhood pharmacy is truly a gem, stocked to the brim with all the essentials. The service is top-notch and you can always count on a warm welcome from the staff.
I've been using this pharmacy for over 2 years now, ever since I was diagnosed with a neurological disorder and had to change my medication several times. Usually, my prescriptions are sent from my doctors at the beginning of the week and are ready by the end of the week, which has been fine as long as I order them in time. However, there have been a couple of instances where I needed my medicine urgently and it was a bit of a gamble whether I would receive it on time.
This past Friday, I had an urgent prescription that was supposed to be ready by Saturday, but I forgot to pick it up. When I finally remembered today and went to the pharmacy, I found the door locked at 5:31. I explained that I had run out of tablets and desperately needed my prescription, but I was told it was too late. I mentioned that the meds were meant to be ready by Saturday, but they claimed they weren't and insisted I come back in the morning. When I requested my prescription back so I could find another pharmacy, they refused.
To say I am disappointed with their service and their unhelpful attitude towards customers is an understatement. I will definitely be taking my business elsewhere from now on. 😡👎👎👎
I never found the medication I was looking for, but the staff were quite pleasant.
Today I went in, a day earlier than usual, to check if my weekly prescription was ready. I also needed to pick up my dad's prescription and thought I could grab my weekly tablets at the same time. The staff informed me that it wouldn't be ready until Thursday. I explained that last week I had asked to change the collection day to Tuesday instead of Thursday, as my college schedule had changed and I couldn't go a whole day without one of my tablets. The person who had served me the previous week interrupted and said that I had told them Friday, then sniggered behind the shelf while another customer was in the shop. I insisted that I had requested Tuesday, as I am no longer in Renfrew on Fridays and don't have college that day. Before they could say anything, I mentioned that I was waiting for my new doctors to register me at my current address, so I wouldn't have to return to that pharmacy and could use my local chemist instead. It was very unprofessional of them, as now I have to go a whole day without a tablet that prevents my blood from clotting. If I suffer another stroke, I will take legal action against the pharmacy. My anxiety is through the roof, and my temper is flaring up. I have heard many negative reviews and witnessed uncomfortable situations at that pharmacy, and now I am just another customer they seem to think they can laugh at.
Popped into the pharmacy to pick up my prescription, was told it'd be ready in 15 minutes. Came back after 40 minutes only to find out it wasn't ready yet. I wouldn't have minded if it was busy, but the staff were just chit-chatting among themselves. Had to inquire about my order and then was informed it needed a pharmacist's check. Once I finally got my prescription, there were errors that I had to point out. Not the best experience, I wouldn't suggest this pharmacy.
The staff here is absolutely brilliant and incredibly helpful.
I have had a bad experience with this pharmacy, as they have made mistakes with three consecutive repeat prescriptions. Each time there were different errors, and their excuse was that it was the Saturday staff. This level of incompetence is alarming, and I fear that they may end up causing harm to someone. Additionally, they have tried to shift the blame onto the medical practice.
Terrible experience at the pharmacy! I handed in my prescription for fluoxetine at 5:15 pm and was told to come back tomorrow because it would take half an hour to fill it??? I didn't have today's dose, so I had to walk 20 minutes to Boots, where they filled my prescription in 5 minutes. Definitely won't be going back to Well Pharmacy again!!!
Incredible pharmacy with a team that truly goes the extra mile. I can't recommend them enough!
The customer service experience was rather disappointing. The staff did not seem very welcoming or friendly.
This pharmacy used to be top-notch with knowledgeable, caring staff who really understood your needs. I recommend checking out Rowlands Pharmacy just around the corner for a better experience.
I recently had a rather unpleasant encounter with a new employee at the pharmacy regarding my asthma inhaler prescription. This preventer is essential for me during the winter months and could literally be a matter of life and death. Despite providing all necessary paperwork for my repeat prescription, the individual in question insisted that there was no script on file for me at the health center. It is truly shocking to witness such disregard for a 34-year-old disabled man who also happens to hold a degree in biochemistry and serves as a priest. I feel compelled to gather information about this employee, including their name and photograph, in order to address this situation and potentially seek their dismissal from the pharmacy.
The architecture of Renfrew City Hall is truly magnificent.
