Outstanding service, I had been informed by multiple pharmacies that obtaining my prescription was impossible as GSK no longer produces the medication. However, the team at Rowlands successfully sourced it from an alternate supplier and provided exceptional assistance. Many thanks!
I must say, my recent experience at this pharmacy left much to be desired. If all establishments operated in such a manner, humanity would surely be doomed.
The level of service was abysmal, bordering on ineptitude.
Ever since the change in ownership, the quality has significantly deteriorated. It appears that their primary focus is profit rather than customer satisfaction.
Fortunately, there's a much superior pharmacy just around the corner.
I seem to be experiencing some performance issues.
Now it takes 4 days to receive a prescription, this is definitely an improvement 😂😂😂 ...
The staff at this pharmacy is absolutely brilliant - helpful, friendly, and polite, with a great knack for discretion and empathy.
A very polite and hardworking team. This pharmacy is always bustling, but I simply wait for the text notifying me that my prescription is ready, and it's always there when I go to pick it up. Just make sure to follow the pharmacy's protocol and you'll have no issues.
The staff at this Pharmacy are absolutely brilliant! They are always so friendly and welcoming when you walk into the shop. Their customer service is truly top-notch and they go above and beyond to assist you. It's always a pleasure to visit this place!
I had a truly dreadful experience. My newborn baby's vaccination was scheduled for tomorrow, so I went to the pharmacy with her red book to ask for some paracetamol. There were three ladies working there, and one of them told me that my baby wasn't registered with a general practitioner yet. I had to go back to the GP to get a letter for the medication, which I then showed to the pharmacy staff, but they still refused to give me the paracetamol. I explained that my baby needed it for her vaccination the next day, but they didn't seem to understand or care.
Feeling frustrated, I decided to try a different pharmacy, Well Pharmacy. There, a very kind man helped me and gave me the paracetamol for my baby without any issues, even accepting the red book as proof. He even gave me an extra dose, emphasizing how important it was. It seems like he understood the situation better than the previous ladies did.
This pharmacy is much busier than the one around the corner, but that's because of its central location within the community. It's where I always pick up my prescriptions, and I've never had to wait more than a few hours (even during the peak of COVID) for them to be ready. They have been doing a fantastic job during the current pandemic, and I plan to continue using their services for the time being.
The staff are professional and friendly, and they have really connected with the locals, which can sometimes make the pharmacy crowded due to the excellent service they provide. They have been diligent in following COVID restrictions and enforcing rules when necessary, which is understandable given that they are essential workers who have been operating throughout the entire pandemic.
If this pharmacy is close to your GP or your home, I highly recommend using their services at your earliest convenience. Don't let the chain name deceive you, as this particular pharmacy has a local vibe and the staff are consistently great. Just be prepared for the potential crowds and long lines, largely due to social distancing and store capacity limits.
I am absolutely fed up with having to wait around for ages while the pharmacy staff search high and low for my prescriptions. Last Friday, I stood around for over 10 minutes just to hand in my prescriptions, only to be told it would take half an hour. That's fine, I understand things can get busy. However, not all my prescriptions were ready after 45 minutes of waiting. They asked me to come back later for an item they had to order. So, I went back at 4pm and was informed it wouldn't be ready until after 2pm on Saturday or first thing Monday. Come Monday at 2pm, my prescriptions still weren't ready, and the pharmacist was on their break. They asked me to return yet again later. Good thing I have a bus pass because it would cost a fortune to keep going back and forth to the chemist. This issue seems to happen frequently with the staff scrambling to find prescriptions. The employees are friendly, but I can tell they are just as frustrated with the lack of organization and space as we customers are.
I would not recommend this establishment at all. I provided my prescription, and was repeatedly informed each day that the medication would be ordered and should be ready by the following day. Even after a week had passed since submitting my prescription, there was still no sign of the medication. I had to seek out a new prescription and took it to Boots pharmacy, where I received the medication within 10 minutes. It's truly disappointing - the staff at this pharmacy operate as if it were a fast-food joint - displaying sheer incompetence and a lack of initiative. Medications are not treats - how can they leave an ill individual without their medication for a whole week?
I visited this pharmacy on the 28th of February and had to wait for ten minutes. When I returned on Friday, 7th of March, I found a gentleman who had been waiting for 25 minutes. I waited for several minutes but had to leave due to my serious lower back and hip issues. The pain was unbearable, and so I decided to go. This kind of situation is truly unnecessary.
This pharmacy is part of a reputable chain of pharmacies. They have a wide selection of products and provide excellent customer service.
The staff were so friendly, helpful, and polite. They really went above and beyond to assist me in ensuring that I collected the correct prescription for the person I was assisting.
I've noticed that the staff at the counter are rather sluggish. They used to provide fast and efficient service, but it seems to have deteriorated recently.
Hello there, mate! Just a heads up for all you lads out there looking young and picking up prescriptions at the pharmacy. While it's not strictly necessary by law, it seems like the new pharmacist has taken a liking to verifying the identities of those blokes who rock tracksuits. So, if you fit the bill and want to avoid any hassle, make sure to have your ID handy when you swing by to grab your meds. Cheers!
I wouldn't recommend this pharmacy at all, it's an absolute joke! The staff there seem clueless and the waiting times are just dreadful. They promise to text you when your prescription is ready, but they never do. And when you try to call them, the phone is always off the hook. I never experienced these issues when it was under the previous management. Something needs to change here. I only gave it one star because I couldn't give it zero. I suggest you investigate this matter further.
Avoid this place if you're in a rush. It's a very busy pharmacy. I recommend using the orderline if possible. It's frustrating that your prescription gets sent off to be filled, which can take up to 10 days, and the patient has no input in the process. It almost feels like they're doing you a favor. Let's hope our pharmacy goes back to just being a pharmacy. I've been a customer here since Eddie Blythr, so that's quite a few years. All I'm looking for is a pharmacy that can properly handle my diabetic needs, fill my prescriptions, and provide advice without making me feel like a second-class citizen before even talking to the pharmacist. And when you do speak to the pharmacist, it's usually a locum who doesn't know you at all.
