Exploring Dyce Shopping Centre: Accessibility and On-Site Services

Dyce Shopping Centre, located in Aberdeen, offers a blend of convenience and variety for shoppers. While it primarily features a large ASDA supermarket, there are several other shops and services that enhance the overall shopping experience.

Accessibility Features

One of the notable aspects of Dyce Shopping Centre is its wheelchair-accessible entrance and well-organized layout. The wheelchair-accessible car park ensures that individuals with mobility challenges can easily access the centre. Additionally, the shopping environment has been described as spacious, allowing for comfortable navigation throughout the aisles.

Service Options Available

The shopping centre hosts a variety of on-site services including Boots, Subway, a hairdresser, and even a dentist. This makes it not just a place for groceries but a one-stop-shop for various needs. However, some comments have pointed out that the experience may be impacted by the presence of school children during peak times, making certain areas crowded and less enjoyable.

Customer Feedback on Shopping Experience

Reviews reveal mixed experiences at Dyce Shopping Centre. Some visitors appreciate the helpful staff and the comprehensive range of goods available, especially at ASDA. However, there have been concerns regarding the stock levels, with reports of empty shelves and limited choices, particularly during busy shopping periods like Christmas. While assessing the state of the centre, some reviewers have noted that the ambiance could be improved, citing a dank and dark atmosphere that feels uninviting. Additionally, while many appreciate the cleanliness upon entry, there are mentions of poor toilet facilities that could use some attention.

Conclusion

In summary, Dyce Shopping Centre stands as a convenient local hub with significant accessibility features and service options. Although there are areas for improvement in terms of ambiance and stock availability, it remains a useful destination for daily shopping needs. Whether you're visiting for the petrol station, the on-site services, or simply to grab essentials at ASDA, Dyce Shopping Centre continues to serve its community.

The staff is really friendly and you can find pretty much everything you need while shopping here.
Zoey Lee (10/08/2025, 02:50):
This store is grand, with a plethora of goods to choose from. The staff are helpful and respectful, and the stock is well organized. Overall, a delightful shopping experience.
Dylan Lopez (08/08/2025, 04:44):
I always enjoy a visit to Asda, but I was a bit disappointed with the restroom facilities. The toilets were locked and I had to ask for a key, which was inconvenient, especially in urgent situations.
Kevin Butler (07/08/2025, 13:43):
Great store with ample free parking and friendly staff. The lovely river just a short walk across the main road adds to the charm. However, the mall does feel a bit sparse in certain areas.
William Barnes (04/08/2025, 02:46):
Spacious market in the midst of various establishments. Managed to locate all our desired items easily.
Albert Lee (03/08/2025, 18:30):
A jolly good spot for shopping, with a pharmacy, dental office, subway, and hair salons for both chaps and dames all conveniently located in one bustling establishment. The Asda cafe dishes up rather decent nosh, presented by amiable and efficient chaps and gals. Cheers!

We've got all the essentials covered at our shopping mall! From Asda and Boots the chemist for your everyday needs, to Timpsons offering shoe repairs, key cutting, and dry cleaning services. Grab a bite at the Asda cafe or drop off your little ones at Banana Moon nursery. Need a haircut? Visit our hairdressers or shop for a cause at the charity shop. Keep that smile shining with a visit to the dentist or get a sun-kissed glow at our sunbed tanning shop. And for all your beauty needs, we have a dedicated unit for nails and hair removal treatments. We've got everything you need in one convenient location!

Fabulous shopping center, they offer a wide variety of goods including food, clothing, and household items. However, my shopping experience close to Christmas wasn't the best. The food section was quite low on stock, and I struggled to find essentials such as vegetables, fresh meat, and dairy products.
Walter Jordan (30/07/2025, 18:00):
A modest shopping center, but gets the job done. Thank goodness for the fuel station ⛽ – saved me a good 10p per liter compared to other places.
Frank Morales (28/07/2025, 03:43):
Definitely a must-visit spot for shopping and whatnot. With Asda, Boots, cobblers (and no disrespect meant), hairdresser, and more, along with a cozy little cafe. Perfect for picking up odds and ends. Would've given it full marks but let's not get carried away, it's just a medium-sized shopping mall! Best to steer clear during school lunch hours, as it tends to get crowded with Dyce Academy students. Plenty of parking available though.
Margaret Fisher (27/07/2025, 17:06):
Perfect for a quick shopping pit stop on your way back up the road.
Martha Baker (26/07/2025, 20:54):
There isn't much to see around here except for Asda, and the employees can be a bit unfriendly. Particularly the lady at the self-service checkouts.
Harper Turner (25/07/2025, 04:16):
This shopping mall ain't just all about Asda, mate. You can find a bunch of other shops inside, like the Asda cafe, Subway, Boots, a tanning salon, an optician, a dentist, a hair salon, and a few more gems waiting to be discovered.
Heather Cox (25/07/2025, 02:25):
Absolutely vile, repugnant, and stinking lavatories. I cannot discern whether there is an issue with the plumbing, but the overpowering smell of ammonia implies a sanitation concern.
Daniel Taylor (24/07/2025, 15:54):
The amenities are top-notch here, only downside is the need for more signage to indicate the specific shop units and their locations. Overall, a pleasant experience nonetheless.
David Torres (24/07/2025, 11:32):
This shopping mall seems a bit outdated and could use a modern touch.
Ronald Moore (21/07/2025, 05:55):
Great parking facilities, however, the smaller units seem to be lacking tenants. Convenient for shopping at Asda and Boots.
Benjamin Sullivan (19/07/2025, 09:22):
Fantastic click and collect section! The shopping center boasts wider aisles compared to other retailers, along with an extensive selection of products.
Jordan Jordan (18/07/2025, 21:57):
Oh my word.. Diesel at 1.34.7 per liter.. Quick, top up your car!
Amber Gomez (12/07/2025, 16:43):
The shopping center is showing its age with some vacant units in the main corridor that could use a sprucing up. There is a decent variety of dining options, although the space can feel a bit snug.
