Dr. Pauline is absolutely brilliant with both of my pups! They have such polar opposite behaviors at the vet, and she handles them beautifully. The reception staff and nurses are always so caring and polite. Overall, it's top-notch service!

Hannah Ramos (20/07/2025, 17:32):
Everyone is so friendly and makes you feel comfortable from the get-go. The vet was very informative, so I left knowing exactly what was going to happen.
Isabella Anderson (20/07/2025, 10:43):
The veterinary team here is absolutely lovely and always offers top-notch advice. They take such good care of my fur babies!
Melissa Patterson (19/07/2025, 22:25):
I must express my disappointment with the subpar service we received at Vets for Pets. The veterinarian appeared to have a limited understanding of basic English during our initial appointment for our kittens, leaving us feeling let down as we had a multitude of inquiries. The administration of vaccines took place in an unusual manner, leading to adverse reactions in both of our kittens.
Although we had invested in the "best start in life" package, we ultimately opted to seek care from a different vet. Regrettably, our attempts to have Vets for Pets share our kittens' records with the new vet and request a partial refund due to underutilization of the package have gone unanswered.
In summary, Vets for Pets seems more concerned with expediency akin to a fast-food chain rather than prioritizing the well-being of your pet. Their focus appears to be on processing clients swiftly to move on to the next paying customer.
Amber Nelson (18/07/2025, 18:58):
They were very caring and compassionate. The parking at the building was convenient, and both the inside and outside were well-maintained. They provided emergency first aid for my chihuahua, which was a lifesaver as my little boy would have been in a lot of pain without it. The vet seemed extremely knowledgeable. The only downside was the cost, as I was informed that if my chihuahua's condition had been more severe, I could have been looking at a minimum bill of £500 for antibiotics, pain relief, and consultation.
Nancy Russell (18/07/2025, 15:40):
We visited this veterinarian after my daughter's dog was attacked by another dog on Aberdeen Beach. The nurse who conducted the initial assessment was delightful, and the veterinarian arrived shortly thereafter. Excellent, prompt service - highly recommended.
Doris Nguyen (18/07/2025, 09:47):
I'm always delighted to assist and address any inquiries regarding my canine companion. The only quibble I have is their penchant for outfitting my dog. Other than that, the personnel is superb.
Diane Anderson (17/07/2025, 13:03):
I had a top-notch vet at a Vets4Pets location and I would definitely stick with them. But if today was my first time, I wouldn't return.
Isabella Ward (16/07/2025, 14:30):
Absolutely appalling experience with this so-called veterinarian! Completely inept, unprofessional, and lacking in compassion. The focus is solely on rushing through appointments to collect exorbitant fees.
We brought our hamster in because its rear and stomach were red and swollen, and it had been scratching excessively. The vet, who supposedly specializes in small animals as advertised on their website, barely glanced at our pet (whom we believed to be female) for less than 2 minutes. They hastily diagnosed a tumor or ovarian cysts, prescribed pain medication, and insinuated that we should put the hamster down promptly, all while avoiding any detailed explanations. We were then charged £35 for this subpar service. Seeking a second opinion from another vet, we received a thorough examination lasting 15 minutes, with extensive questioning. This competent vet quickly disproved the initial diagnosis of ovarian cysts, revealing that our hamster was actually male – confirmed by a second vet present. The swelling was attributed to two normal testicles, not ovarian cysts. The new diagnosis indicated a skin-related issue such as mites, a skin infection, or an allergy. Treatment was prescribed, and our pet is now healthy and thriving. Thankfully, we did not heed the advice of Vets4Pets to euthanize our hamster. Avoid this chaotic establishment at all costs when seeking proper care for your beloved pets.

I recently adopted a guinea pig that had some issues before coming into my care, but I wanted to provide a loving home for him. To ensure his well-being and learn more about him, I brought him in for a routine check-up at Vet4pets. Their team of caring professionals truly go above and beyond for your furry friends, no matter the species. I have utilized Vet4pets' services before and continue to do so. The friendly staff and knowledgeable vets always provide trustworthy advice. Five-star service all the way! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Lacked warmth and interest
Upon my initial visit with my hamster, the veterinarian was delightful, taking care to be empathetic and comforting.
My most recent visit, however, was quite the opposite. The vet we encountered displayed a total lack of empathy - completely dreadful.
I cannot recommend this place and I will certainly not be coming back.
Seek out other options as there are superior veterinarians elsewhere.
Ruth Reynolds (08/07/2025, 08:13):
What an absolute disaster. The lack of professionalism and incompetence was astounding. The treatment of my dog, who has highly sensitive ears due to an ear infection, was horrifying. He yelped in pain numerous times, yet they continued with no regard for his distress. And to top it off, they overcharged us for medication that supposedly couldn't be found online - I managed to find it on a reputable animal care website for less than half the price. I strongly recommend steering clear of this place.
Michael Myers (08/07/2025, 06:37):
Just had my kitty in for a check-up and booster shot over at the Aberdeen location. The new male vet was top-notch, providing us with some really helpful advice. He was super understanding and didn't push any pricey diets or treatments on us. Much appreciated, it was hands down the best vet visit we've ever had.
Joan Carter (08/07/2025, 04:39):
Just got off the phone with Vets for Pets at the beach, located in Pets at Home. I believe the receptionist I spoke to was named Leona or something similar. Since it's Sunday and my regular vet is closed, I was hoping to schedule an emergency appointment for my dog RIA, as I am quite worried. She has been a bit off since going into heat, which is not unusual, just a loss of appetite. However, I noticed blood in her stool for the second time, with the majority of it being blood this time.
Naturally, I am very concerned and wanted to have her seen by a vet. The receptionist informed me that the vet would be available until 2 PM and had one appointment left, but then refused to book me in, mentioning they might need it for a potential emergency. While I understand that, I suggested that they could call me back if the slot remained open, or perhaps consult with a manager or the vet to see if there was any flexibility. However, she simply said no without showing any empathy or genuine concern for my pet.
She recommended I contact Vets Now instead, but I explained that I had already called them and mentioned the hefty £178 consultation fee before any treatment. Her lack of concern was evident, and realizing I was getting nowhere, I thanked her and ended the call.
If anyone else is seeking an emergency appointment and this isn't your regular vet, I would advise against calling them. The receptionist lacked knowledge on how to handle the situation and displayed a complete lack of care or concern for my pet; it felt like she just wanted to get me off the phone.
Roger Lewis (06/07/2025, 20:37):
Vet Pauline and vet nurse Natasha were absolutely fantastic in providing top-notch care when my feline friend had an allergic reaction. Their prompt actions were very much appreciated, and we are grateful for everything they did for Willow. Practice manager Stuart also went above and beyond in keeping us updated. A big thank you to the team at Vets for Pets Aberdeen :)
Donald Watson (04/07/2025, 08:00):
Karen, the receptionist, was quite friendly today and handled my inquiries in a very professional manner. Excellent service!
Anna Flores (02/07/2025, 12:37):
I had to take my second cat, who was 19 years old, to the vet to be put to sleep. The vets were absolutely amazing with me during this difficult time. I was incredibly upset, but I knew it was the best decision for my boy. Today, I received a lovely card and some flower seeds to scatter where he is buried. I am so grateful to the staff for being so kind and compassionate towards both me and Max. They truly deserve five stars for their exceptional care. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
