Neat, not overly crowded, and plenty of items in stock on the shelves.
Judy Bailey (23/06/2025, 18:50):
I must say, I was quite disappointed by my recent experience at the supermarket. It seems they employ rather uneducated salesmen and managers. They flat-out denied selling me beer despite me presenting a valid ID confirming I am of legal age. The employees were unable to provide any reasonable explanation for their actions. I would strongly advise against shopping at this establishment.

Purchased some groceries, utilized the restroom facilities, and then departed. A typical shopping excursion.
Ruth King (21/06/2025, 14:28):
It's an Asda, decent at certain things but lacking in others. The staff appears to be scarce and the checkout lanes are often understaffed. Some of us still prefer interacting with a human cashier rather than opting for a self-service machine. It's disappointing to see Asda (and other supermarkets) prioritizing cost savings over employment opportunities. It's not just about maximizing profits!
Matthew Bennett (20/06/2025, 00:02):
Considering the size of the supermarket, it's impressively well-stocked with a good variety of items.
Michael Gonzales (12/06/2025, 20:11):
I tend to do most of my grocery shopping at Asda. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and the prices are generally lower compared to other stores.

I just had a delightful experience at the cafe in Asda Portlethen. After a chilly bike ride on a dreary day, I was craving some hot coffee and food. Luckily, the cafe was conveniently located and I decided to give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the cafe and the friendly staff. I opted for a slice of pizza, which was a generous portion, and a large latte. The total cost was under £5, and the pizza was scrumptious. The combination of the delicious pizza and warm coffee was exactly what I needed to cozy up. It was my first time trying pizza from Asda cafe, and it was a refreshing change from the usual options like Dominos or Pizza Hut.
Heather Coleman (12/06/2025, 02:45):
This Asda is quite spacious and well-equipped. I particularly like that they have a Pharmacy inside the store, as well as a café and public restrooms. The store is all on one level which makes it easy to navigate.

One great feature is the attached petrol station with reasonable prices, although they only accept card payments. Additionally, they offer electric hook up points which is definitely a bonus for those in need.
Samuel Myers (10/06/2025, 11:08):
Lovely tidy store, prices are quite good too.
Matthew Edwards (07/06/2025, 18:58):
I popped into this place earlier today to get a trim, and figured while I was here, why not grab a coffee and some brekkie. As I strolled over to the counter, the chap there looked up, caught sight of me, and beamed a big smile, saying "Hello, how are you doing? I haven't seen you in a while. Having your usual today?" I was pleasantly surprised that he remembered my order, as I hadn't been by since before Christmas. It was such a lovely feeling to be welcomed like that, especially considering all the people he must see every day. Oh, and I almost forgot – the breakfast was absolutely scrumptious, and the café is always spotless. Thank you for making my day!
Melissa Miller (07/06/2025, 16:17):
Decent size, not massive. Bit too much noise from the music sometimes, and the staff can be hit or miss. I prefer using the self-checkout as some employees tend to rush through scanning items, like the time my wine got tossed around.
