My dear wife and I are planning a visit to Grangemouth soon, and after perusing the reviews of the Asda stores in the area, we have decided to explore alternative shopping options. It would be quite distressing to encounter such rude and indolent staff who handle your food with such disregard by slamming it onto the table in the café. One must prioritize both quality service and dining etiquette, don't you agree?
Riley Evans (23/07/2025, 23:21):
I simply can't fathom the prerequisites for self-service checkout attendants! A sour disposition and a countenance that curdles milk? Absolutely dreadful! It's an utter nuisance having to handle a full trolley of groceries oneself, all the while enduring the unhelpful behavior of those clueless attendants at the self-checkout. Bring back proper staff, I say! This experience has reminded me why I've chosen to steer clear of Asda in recent times.
Louis Cox (22/07/2025, 10:17):
I'm on a tight budget, so I always look for the best deals. Supermarket is the place to go for affordable prices on everything I need.
Jordan Thomas (22/07/2025, 08:49):
I must say, the layout is top-notch and the self-service checkouts are a breeze to use. They're usually managed quite well too. However, there's often a shortage of baskets at the entrance, which forces you to trek around the store to find one that's just been used. Not the best anti-COVID measure, if you ask me.

In this neck of the woods, many folks kick off work at 6 am, yet they flat out refuse to sell cigarettes before that hour. Quite the inconvenience, I must say. When the cigarettes kiosk is bustling during the day, you're better off getting served when there's only one staff member on duty. The moment more than one person is around, they tend to get caught up in a chat with each other or with the security bloke instead of tending to paying customers. Overall, it's a decent shop, but this particular department could use a rethinking, if you catch my drift.
Logan Patterson (20/07/2025, 06:18):
Louise at the supermarket printed a birthday cake I designed and it turned out fantastic. She was so lovely and helped guide me to the self-service checkouts to scan my items. It was a big help, especially with my 2-year-old causing chaos. Thanks a lot, Louise!
Danielle Turner (18/07/2025, 06:45):
What an absolute disgrace! I've been down three times between 9am and 10am as I was told this slot is reserved for OAPs and disabled individuals, but there's a queue of people of every age. When I asked the person at the door, he just shrugged his shoulders. What are you supposed to do, Asda? You are a disgrace.
Amelia Henderson (17/07/2025, 04:27):
I often enjoy shopping at the Asda Grangemouth store, but my recent experiences have left me feeling rather frustrated. The self-checkout staff, particularly a team member named Carroll, could benefit from some serious customer service training.

Whenever an item needs authorisation, Carroll has a tendency to sneak up behind customers without saying a word. Instead of politely asking "May I be of assistance?" or "Allow me to authorise this for you," she bluntly and almost condescendingly demands, "Can I get it?" It's unsettling and frankly, quite impolite.

Moreover, I observed Carroll dealing with an elderly lady who mistakenly took her cart to the wrong checkout. Rather than calmly explaining the situation and assisting the customer in understanding her error, Carroll rudely pointed and instructed the lady to move her cart to the correct area. Some patience and guidance could have made a significant difference in this scenario.

I do not wish to come across as overly critical, but I hope that those in charge take note of this feedback. Carroll's bossy demeanor towards paying customers is unacceptable and requires correction. Respect and courtesy should be standard, not the exception.

It would be helpful to have more staff available at the fish counter. Additionally, it seems that they no longer offer filleting services for whole salmon purchases. I also recommend double-checking your receipt, as the prices listed on the shelves do not always match up with what is charged at the till. It's a bit disappointing to see these inconsistencies at the store.
Judith Simmons (16/07/2025, 18:36):
Decent tidy store, although it's a bit chilly for my liking! The selection of products is quite good and the prices are reasonable. Excellent parking facilities that won't cost you a penny! By the way, in the town of GRANGEMOUTH, all parking is free of charge throughout the town.
Michael Hamilton (14/07/2025, 20:12):
I just wanted to give a shoutout to Ann at the store today. She was really lovely and super helpful during my visit. She definitely went the extra mile in assisting me.

I must say, Asda Grangemouth has some top-notch COVID safety measures in place. The high perspex screens at the self-checkouts and other counters are a great idea. Plus, they have plenty of hand sanitizer and antibacterial products placed around the store. It's important for us as customers to do our part in maintaining physical distance to help prevent the spread of the virus.

Big kudos to Ann and the team at Asda Grangemouth!
Henry Reed (13/07/2025, 23:34):
I recently visited the store for the first time to use the cafe, and it will definitely be my last. The blonde girl serving around 2:15 had a dreadful attitude. She practically threw my meal on the table, muttered something about bringing back the bread, and then slammed my plate with the bread on it. I am currently sitting here feeling uneasy while attempting to enjoy what was supposed to be a delightful lunch with my spouse. It is evident that her customer service skills are severely lacking, and I would recommend some much-needed training for her.
Janice Bennett (13/07/2025, 12:20):
I absolutely recommend the hot pizza - it was a total no-brainer to pay a little extra for it to be piping hot.
Terry Collins (12/07/2025, 20:16):
The staff is always helpful when needed. The pricing policy is convenient. The parking area is good.
Riley Flores (12/07/2025, 14:05):
I recently purchased some trousers from the Supermarket, and I had to buy two different sizes because there were no changing rooms in both Grangemouth and Falkirk. Now I have to go back to return the wrong size and wait for a refund. This experience was not ideal, as the lack of changing rooms made it difficult to find the right fit. Additionally, the customer service was not great. I am now considering shopping online instead, as I'm not sure what the difference would be.
Andrew Ortiz (12/07/2025, 04:36):
This store is a fantastic place to do your shopping. The staff is so friendly and always willing to help out. I hope they continue with their great service.
Christian Flores (10/07/2025, 22:43):
Your average supermarket, right, but with 24-hour opening, you'd think all the sections would be up and running, except for the alcohol because of those Scottish licensing laws (fair enough). However, the kiosk should also be open around the clock. One night it's open, then the next it's shut by 10 pm. Can someone please clarify this?
Jack Gutierrez (10/07/2025, 07:34):
The staff here are so friendly and the shopping offers such great value. I always have a pleasant experience whenever I visit this supermarket.
Ronald Jordan (08/07/2025, 11:48):
Top-notch customer service, always on time and extremely polite. I highly recommend this store as they have done a fantastic job, even during a pandemic. The team still went above and beyond to assist us. Cheers to you hardworking folks, thank you!
Ryan Gonzales (07/07/2025, 18:01):
I simply cannot comprehend why they continue to form partnerships with Just Eat. On two separate occasions, I have been forced to request a refund due to an apparent case of theft by the delivery driver. It is imperative that customers thoroughly inspect their items prior to allowing a Just Eat driver to depart. Furthermore, the store completely absolved themselves of any responsibility in the matter.
Brandon Patterson (03/07/2025, 07:11):
This store is supposed to be open 24 hours, but it's a shame they closed the cigarette counter. It's quite absurd, isn't it? If they keep shutting down sections whenever they feel like it, then they can't really call themselves a 24-hour store, can they?
