With options for in-store shopping, the supermarket is designed to accommodate all customers, including those with mobility challenges.

Accessibility Features

The store prides itself on being wheelchair-accessible and provides essential amenities such as a wheelchair-accessible entrance and a wheelchair-accessible toilet. Parking is made easy with a dedicated wheelchair-accessible car park and a spacious free parking lot that offers 2 hours of free parking, although drivers should be cautious about time limits to avoid fines.

Payment Options

When it comes to making purchases, Tesco Extra embraces modern payment methods. Customers can use credit cards, debit cards, and NFC mobile payments for convenience. However, feedback suggests that the self-checkout scenarios might require more attention from staff to ensure a smooth experience.

Service Options and Amenities

While many patrons enjoy the variety of offerings available, customer service has received mixed reviews. Some have reported long waits at the self-service checkouts due to staff distractions, while others highlight friendly employees who are willing to assist when needed. The store provides an array of on-site services, including a café, a pharmacy, and even areas for recycling.

Food Selection and Quality

The food section features great produce alongside a diverse selection of items. While many customers find the quality satisfactory, concerns have been raised about the freshness of certain items. Shoppers appreciate the availability of organic options and promotional meal deals that offer great value.

Community and Inclusivity

One noteworthy aspect of this Tesco location is its commitment to creating a welcoming environment. The store has been recognized as a transgender safe space and is LGBTQ+ friendly. This inclusivity fosters a sense of community among shoppers, enhancing the overall shopping experience.

To summarize, Tesco Extra in Perth boasts several highlights, including:

I 'ave always 'ad a jolly good time shoppin' at this Tesco, but lately I've been optin' for doin' me shoppin' online using click & collect. The van drivers 'ave been right proper helpful and friendly, but I've taken to reviewin' the time slot I choose, as the 12-2pm slot always seems right busy, with folks sittin' in their motors on the road, queuing up to get into the click and collect parkin' bay at the back of the car park. This week, I opted for the 10-12 slot and I was the only motor there, which was absolutely grand!

This supermarket is top-notch, well-managed, and fully stocked. A great place to shop for all your needs!
Ann Richardson (26/07/2025, 08:15):
The staff at this supermarket are so friendly and approachable! It really makes the shopping experience much more enjoyable.
Terry Clark (23/07/2025, 06:51):
The size and location of this place are top-notch, mate! Just perfect for a good ol' supermarket, if you ask me. Cheers!
Keith Turner (23/07/2025, 05:39):
Fantastic spot for picking up groceries. The Clubcard points are a real bonus and the shelves are consistently well-stocked.
Michael Ford (17/07/2025, 15:11):
I must say, my Tesco encounter was the absolute pits. Security measures were about as useful as a chocolate teapot, and the security guards seemed to be perpetually down in the dumps.
Julie Sanders (16/07/2025, 16:57):
Brilliant store, innit! They've got loo facilities and even sell petrol. Massive selection of goods to choose from, proper spoilt for choice.
Terry Coleman (14/07/2025, 07:58):
Plenty of options, reasonably priced, the staff is friendly and helpful. The lights are always on as well!
Ethan Miller (14/07/2025, 05:25):
The petrol station and parking are the only redeeming qualities worth mentioning, everything else is just dreadful.
Mary Cook (13/07/2025, 17:23):
The staff at this supermarket are just lovely! They are so helpful and knowledgeable, always willing to go the extra mile for me. I am absolutely delighted with the service I receive here.
Joe Edwards (13/07/2025, 10:42):
At 7:30pm on the 13th of November 2022, the chap manning the register at the petrol station had absolutely no manners. "Forty pounds," he demanded abruptly, snatching the money from my hand without a please or thank you. This isn't the first instance I've encountered impolite or aggressive staff at this establishment. I shall endeavor to steer clear of this place in the future.
Allison Gonzalez (12/07/2025, 20:17):
Nobody seems to be of much help. Their online store is a nightmare to navigate. The people are rude, and so are the drivers. It looks like they could use some customer service training!👎🏼😡...
Matthew Coleman (12/07/2025, 16:31):
The customer service is absolutely dreadful. The employees here in Perth are truly the worst I've encountered.
Kevin Edwards (12/07/2025, 01:47):
I popped by the petrol station this morning around 10 a.m. The automatic stop on the diesel pump at pump 8 wasn't working properly, and I ended up with a ruined pair of boots and trousers. When I brought this issue to the garage attendant's attention, I was met with a casual shrug as if to say "not my problem." Not a single apology or even a simple thank you for informing them... Absolutely dreadful!!
Grace Garcia (11/07/2025, 09:22):
There's a rather large Tesco store situated just opposite B&Q in Perth. Parking is abundant, which is always a plus. What's particularly intriguing is that they have an on-site kitchen where they test out new products that aren't on the market yet. You might even be approached to participate in taste tests - quite a unique experience!
Barbara Hamilton (11/07/2025, 00:25):
If you're delivering to the stores' back entrance, be ready to wait for what seems like an eternity. I was standing there ringing the bell and calling for a good 20 minutes, and I'm still waiting!
Alan Kelly (09/07/2025, 17:11):
I must say, I didn't find what I was looking for during my visit to the store and ended up purchasing very few items. Therefore, I don't think I'll make the effort to shop there again.
Jesse Long (09/07/2025, 01:30):
I absolutely adore the food offerings at Tesco. The staff members are incredibly friendly and always ready to assist.
Andrew Watson (07/07/2025, 21:14):
I simply must express my gratitude to Ashleigh, who staffs the checkout at your Perth store on Crieff Road. As my husband and I were packing our groceries, our inquisitive 3-year-old daughter wandered over to Ashleigh's side of the checkout for a little look around. Ashleigh kindly offered her the chance to assist, and of course, Hannah eagerly accepted. With a radiant smile, Hannah helped scan the remainder of our items and took her responsibilities very seriously. Ashleigh is truly an asset to your Crieff Road store, and she truly made my little girl's day ☺️❤️ Thank you xx
Amelia Harris (06/07/2025, 19:50):
The cleanliness in the cafe was abysmal, mate. The cutlery was absolutely reeking, we had to ask for it to be washed. The coffee was absolutely freezing. And don't get me started on the staff - no hair nets or hats in the kitchen! Someone needs to have a word about this because it's not up to scratch compared to other Tesco stores.
