Had an absolutely fantastic experience at this beauty supply store! I had a rash on my leg that was troubling me, and when I asked for assistance, I was promptly taken to a private consultation room in the pharmacy section (at no cost). The staff recommended a cream that has been incredibly effective in treating my rash. I would give this place 6 stars if I could - the staff is friendly and helpful, the store is clean and well-maintained, and it offers a wide range of products. This is truly one of the best beauty supply stores I have ever visited!

The pharmacy in this boots is absolutely splendid. There's always staff available to provide assistance and guidance. I've never encountered any problems getting my prescriptions as they always have ample stock, unlike some other locations.

This mega store is massive and impeccably organized, offering an extensive selection of creams for body care, foot care, lip care, hand care, facial care, mouth care, and hair care. They also carry a wide range of deodorants such as Nivea, Spice, men's, Dove, and many others. The display of perfumes from various brands is impressive, including Viktor and Rolf, Gucci, Victoria's Secret, Jimmy Choo, Ralph Lauren, and many more. I highly recommend this mega store for all your beauty and personal care needs, including medications.

Boots is a top-notch company, I must say. The staff are super friendly and really know their stuff. They've got a massive selection of products and services to choose from. Plus, their loyalty points system is absolutely brilliant - I'm always stocking up on points for Christmas. One thing to bear in mind, though, is to watch out for their prices. I once noticed that it was actually more cost-effective to grab two 500ml bottles of mouthwash than splurge on a single 1-liter bottle of the exact same brand. Just a little tip for you there!

I must say, my visit to this beauty supply store was absolutely delightful! The establishment was spotless and impeccably arranged, providing a truly inviting atmosphere. Though, I do confess, the prices were a tad bit on the higher side. Still, with the top-notch quality and extensive selection they provide, every penny is well-spent.

I pop into this place once a month to get my BMI and weight checked for just £1. It's always bustling, but the staff do a great job of following social distancing rules. Everyone is so friendly here. The pharmacy is on the first floor and you'll find all your usual cosmetics on the ground floor.

The service from the audiologist at this place was absolutely top-notch. The examination was incredibly thorough and explained in a clear manner. There was no pressure to buy anything at all. From the very first interaction, the level of service and advice was exceptional. I was feeling very stressed and desperate, but they quickly put me at ease and reassured me. The advice provided was completely impartial. I can't speak highly enough of the audiologist service. They surpassed all expectations and truly went the extra mile. I would give them 7 stars if I could.

I visited the store for an eye check-up, and I must say, it was just what I was looking for. The optician and Eilidh, the optical consultant, were absolutely fantastic. I splurged on a pair of pricey glasses, but it was totally worth it. They didn't push me to buy anything I wasn't interested in. Overall, a great experience with lovely ladies. I'd definitely return.

LOST OUR FILM

We took our film in for development on August 11, 2021, and were told it would be ready in 14 days (even though the website stated 9 days). After the 14 days passed, we checked in to find out that it wasn't at the store, but were asked to come back later. We returned the following week, but still no sign of our film. We were assured they would call us when it arrived, but weeks went by without any updates.

As more time passed, exceeding a month since we dropped off our film, we became increasingly frustrated with the lack of information and delays. It was then revealed that there had been an error in processing our order, which had contributed to the hold-up. Despite promises to investigate and keep us informed, we continued to face uncertainty about the status of our pictures.

We persistently followed up and sought clarity on the situation, only to be met with evasive responses blaming head office for the mishap. Avoid this place for film development if you value receiving your pictures promptly!

Fantastic range of essential products. Located on Princes Street, so it's always bustling with customers throughout the day. However, the upper level tends to be more peaceful. The gift selection upstairs is also quite lovely.

Had a little snag with my refund that didn't go through correctly, sorted it out online and was instructed to go back to the store where the refund was processed. The manager didn't even greet me or explain the process/apologize, just mentioned that I should have received an e-gift card via email. I reiterated what Boots Customer Care had told me about returning to the store. Eventually, he processed it and handed me a physical Boots gift card while suggesting he could place an order for me in-store since this card supposedly only worked in-store, not online. However, I found that the gift card did work online, and I was able to get cash back for the order.

Once again, the service on the 1st floor near the Pharmacy was abysmal. There were 6 of us waiting for at least 10 minutes, with some eventually giving up and leaving. In stark contrast, the service on the ground floor next to the No 7 counter was swift and efficient. This marks the third occasion where I've encountered a lengthier-than-expected wait on the 1st floor.

I was compelled to utilize their self-service tills, and if one desires assistance from a manned till, they loudly call out to a colleague that "someone needs help," creating a sense of embarrassment in front of other customers. The lack of empathy shown by the staff was disappointing, and I do not intend to visit this store again.
