I recently went to Boots to exchange a faulty Braun shaver, only to be told no!! Following their advice, I called their customer service and was eventually told that the shaver should have been swapped over. The whole experience was quite disappointing and has definitely made me reconsider purchasing any future shavers from Boots.

I experienced quite a frustrating time at the beauty supply store. I arrived to pick up my order that I was informed was not available, even though my email clearly stated it was ready for collection. The staff member, a young lady, refused to double-check if it was indeed in stock, leading me to make an unnecessary trip back another day.

On a separate occasion, I visited the store for a prescription, and they adamantly insisted it was not on their premises. After returning to my doctor's office, I confirmed that the prescription had been scanned in. Returning to the store the next day, they still claimed it was not there until I stood my ground and demanded they search thoroughly. Lo and behold, they eventually found it buried in the processed pile. I went without my medication for two days due to this ordeal, including a weekend in between. Although they were apologetic, this occurrence was unacceptable. It makes me wonder how many others are turned away without crucial medications. Thankfully, my HRT is not of utmost urgency, but for others, this negligence could have catastrophic consequences.
