I went to the pharmacy to pick up my prescription and requested a seat while waiting, as I have a disability that prevents me from standing for long periods.
The staff were incredibly unhelpful and did not offer me a seat inside or provide any alternative solutions when I explained my situation. Instead of addressing my issue, they seemed standoffish.
I was told that due to COVID regulations, I couldn't wait inside and was advised to either stand outside or return later. I explained that this was not possible for me due to my disability.
The pharmacy did not have any seating available, not even a chair outside for individuals with accessibility needs. It was frustrating to have to explain this to healthcare professionals.
When I raised concerns about the lack of seating for disabled or elderly clients like myself and the inaccessibility of their premises, they simply stated that they would have to clean the seats too often. This showed a lack of concern for basic access needs.
Their response that I should contact my local councillor instead of addressing my concerns was dismissive and unprofessional. It is not acceptable to prioritize convenience over the well-being of disabled individuals.
I have spoken to my local councillor, Zen Ghani, about the ableism I experienced at the pharmacy. He has assured me that he will address this issue during the next council meeting and write a letter to the pharmacy.
In the future, I hope the pharmacy will properly train their staff to treat disabled individuals with respect and care. Providing seating for those with accessibility needs should be a basic right, especially in a healthcare setting. Prioritizing convenience over inclusivity is not acceptable.

I wish I could give them negative stars as they truly deserve it. The service was incredibly slow, especially over the phone. My prescription was forgotten in the system, and they made me wait inside while they decided who could go first. I waited for 20 minutes and I am absolutely appalled by this experience. I will not be returning there again. I would rather walk further for my medication than endure such lazy and disrespectful treatment.

The Pharmacy attendant is quite polite and helpful, however, the female supervisor, who I presume to be a pharmacist, is terribly rude, impolite, and devoid of any courtesy. She tends to raise her voice and comes across as overly aggressive, appearing rather frustrated with her role. It seems that she has little understanding of what customer service entails. I have requested my GP at Regency to refrain from sending my prescriptions to this particular pharmacy.
