Rowlands Pharmacy Culloden: A Comprehensive Overview

Rowlands Pharmacy in Culloden, Inverness, has garnered a mix of reviews highlighting both its service options and challenges. While the pharmacy provides essential health services to the community, many customers have expressed concerns about their experiences.

Service Options

Rowlands Pharmacy offers a variety of service options for customers. These include convenient in-store pick-up for prescriptions, allowing locals to collect their medications at their convenience. Additionally, the pharmacy supports NFC mobile payments and accepts both debit cards and credit cards, making transactions easier for many customers.

Accessibility Features

One notable aspect of Rowlands Pharmacy is its commitment to accessibility. The facility features a wheelchair-accessible entrance and a wheelchair-accessible car park, ensuring that all customers can access the services they need. However, feedback suggests that the customer experience could be improved further, especially in terms of staff interaction and service speed.

Customer Experience and Feedback

Several reviews indicate that the quality of service at Rowlands Pharmacy has declined over recent years. Customers have reported instances of being ignored by staff upon entering the store. One reviewer noted waiting for over 15 minutes without any acknowledgment, which has contributed to a sentiment that the pharmacy might not prioritize customer service as it once did. Moreover, issues with prescription orders have been frequently mentioned. Customers have shared frustrations about prescriptions not being ready, even after receiving notifications that they were complete. This inconsistency in service has led some patrons to seek alternatives, including changing pharmacies altogether.

Room for Improvement

To enhance the overall customer experience, there are several areas where improvement is necessary. Staff training on customer engagement would help ensure that every visitor feels acknowledged and valued. Additionally, enhancing the efficiency of prescription processing could reduce wait times significantly. Some customers have also suggested increasing the number of seating options within the store for those who may need assistance or have difficulty standing in long lines. Such changes would make the environment more welcoming and comfortable.

Conclusion

While Rowlands Pharmacy Culloden provides essential services and has friendly staff members, the feedback highlights a critical need for improvements in service efficiency and customer interaction. By addressing these issues, Rowlands can work towards restoring its reputation as a trusted healthcare provider in the community. For those seeking reliable pharmacy services, understanding these dynamics is key to ensuring a smoother experience in the future.

I'm afraid to say this pharmacy has really taken a turn for the worse. I'm not sure if it's a change in staff or management, but when you walk in, no one even acknowledges your presence. I waited in line for 15 minutes without a single staff member acknowledging anyone. They seem to actively avoid making eye contact. Two people actually left while I was waiting, including an elderly person struggling with two walking sticks. There are signs around the desk indicating zero tolerance, which makes me wonder if there have been incidents in the past.

A simple greeting like, "Hello, we're a bit busy right now but we'll be with you shortly," can make a big difference in easing the tension. It would also be helpful if they provided more seating for those waiting in other parts of the shop. On a positive note, there is a new, young girl who was very friendly when she served me.

I felt compelled to write this review because this isn't the first time I've experienced these issues.

I must say, this Pharmacy is simply top-notch. The staff and pharmacists have been incredibly helpful during the past 2-3 years that I've been visiting them. In fact, they've been more helpful than my doctors' office!

I must say, it's quite unfortunate to acknowledge this, but the quality of service at this establishment has noticeably declined in recent years. The personnel are undoubtedly charming, however, there always seems to be some sort of issue with orders, resulting in unnecessary delays. Gone are the days when one could simply swing by, swiftly collect their order without any fuss, or avoid having to return for the remainder and enduring a wait of 30 minutes or more. While it was once a commendable establishment, it appears that is no longer the case. Our relocation has truly highlighted the disparity in service standards.

The staff at this pharmacy was incredibly helpful and attentive.
