Exploring Dyce Shopping Centre: Accessibility and On-Site Services

Dyce Shopping Centre, located in Aberdeen, offers a blend of convenience and variety for shoppers. While it primarily features a large ASDA supermarket, there are several other shops and services that enhance the overall shopping experience.

Accessibility Features

One of the notable aspects of Dyce Shopping Centre is its wheelchair-accessible entrance and well-organized layout. The wheelchair-accessible car park ensures that individuals with mobility challenges can easily access the centre. Additionally, the shopping environment has been described as spacious, allowing for comfortable navigation throughout the aisles.

Service Options Available

The shopping centre hosts a variety of on-site services including Boots, Subway, a hairdresser, and even a dentist. This makes it not just a place for groceries but a one-stop-shop for various needs. However, some comments have pointed out that the experience may be impacted by the presence of school children during peak times, making certain areas crowded and less enjoyable.

Customer Feedback on Shopping Experience

Reviews reveal mixed experiences at Dyce Shopping Centre. Some visitors appreciate the helpful staff and the comprehensive range of goods available, especially at ASDA. However, there have been concerns regarding the stock levels, with reports of empty shelves and limited choices, particularly during busy shopping periods like Christmas. While assessing the state of the centre, some reviewers have noted that the ambiance could be improved, citing a dank and dark atmosphere that feels uninviting. Additionally, while many appreciate the cleanliness upon entry, there are mentions of poor toilet facilities that could use some attention.

Conclusion

In summary, Dyce Shopping Centre stands as a convenient local hub with significant accessibility features and service options. Although there are areas for improvement in terms of ambiance and stock availability, it remains a useful destination for daily shopping needs. Whether you're visiting for the petrol station, the on-site services, or simply to grab essentials at ASDA, Dyce Shopping Centre continues to serve its community.

Nicholas Murphy (06/09/2025, 19:38):
A decently sized shopping center with various smaller stores connected to it, including a hair salon.
Heather Roberts (05/09/2025, 05:03):
It features an Asda, boots, and entertainment store. The entire place is decent but could do with a bit of sprucing up, if you ask me.
Andrea Adams (03/09/2025, 20:25):
This shopping mall is rather lacking, with only an Asda store to offer. The cafe in there certainly leaves much to be desired.
Cheryl Taylor (02/09/2025, 09:13):
Typical fine selection of items at fantastic prices. Somewhat lacking in plant-based options, but seems to be improving. Best to steer clear of weekday lunch hours as you may encounter groups of schoolkids dominating the sandwich area and self-service checkouts.
Johnny Myers (02/09/2025, 01:51):
The staff was extremely friendly when I went to pick up the blue pallets. The forklift driver was quick and efficient, loading everything in no time. Thanks, mate! 👍👍
Charles Hamilton (31/08/2025, 20:39):
I had a bit of a run-in with some lads from the area who thought they could mess with me, but I showed them what's what with a bit of Scottish martial arts skills (take that, ya numpties). It went down outside the Asda in the car park – seems like that's their turf. They were on about me trespassing or something and demanded payment. Just a heads up for any other fellas out there, might be best to steer clear.
Helen Bennett (31/08/2025, 15:35):
This place was quite dreary, with a maze-like layout, subpar parking conditions, and a limited variety of stores. There seemed to be quite a few zombies roaming about. Asda was decent, but the rest was rather underwhelming.
Madison Johnson (31/08/2025, 06:05):
This shopping mall used to be a top spot for shopping, but it seems to have lost its charm. The selection isn't as diverse as it used to be, and there's an increasing presence of Asda stores.
Harper Mitchell (31/08/2025, 02:22):
I just stopped by for a quick bite to eat as I was in a rush. I was pleasantly surprised by how clean the mall was when I walked in. I enjoyed my sandwich and sitting down for a bit. The service was great, the girl who served me was very friendly. She even offered to make a custom sandwich for me when I couldn't find one without cheese, mayo, or egg - which I don't eat. I asked for a ham and tomato sandwich with no butter or anything else, and she happily obliged. While we were waiting to pay for our tea, the sandwich was already prepared and delicious. My only complaint would be that the mug of tea was huge, about the size of two regular mugs, and I didn't have enough time to finish it all - even though I was really enjoying it.
Margaret Hall (25/08/2025, 10:47):
I popped into Asda earlier but there are plenty of other shops and services around here as well. There's a Subway and a lovely restaurant too.
Arthur Allen (25/08/2025, 09:01):
Asda is a decent store with a wide variety of products. The additional stores are okay, but the coffee shop section is quite run-down and desperately requires a makeover. The employees who work there are fantastic, but I can't help but sympathize with them for having to work in such a dull and outdated environment.
Anna Reynolds (24/08/2025, 17:53):
Shelves devoid of variety, entire aisles dedicated to a single item to merely occupy space, uninterested staff members, gloomy and unwelcoming atmosphere, and barriers giving off the impression of a cattle market.
I must say, you missed the mark on everything.
Steven Kim (23/08/2025, 18:56):
Plenty of parking available, a wide range of products to choose from, and a variety of stores to explore.
Gerald Brown (23/08/2025, 16:11):
With a wee parade of shops at the entrance to the shopping mall, this is a fantastic spot for a bit of retail therapy!
Alan Harris (23/08/2025, 07:23):
Loads of things all in one place, absolutely adored the Costa mmmmmm.
Diane Brooks (22/08/2025, 07:11):
This shopping mall is an all-inclusive hub with top-notch staff and services in every department. #TopQuality
Roger Anderson (21/08/2025, 20:37):
Looking for the pet shop? Oh, dear, it's been gone for quite some time now. But hey, the supermarket here is quite lovely 🙂
Benjamin Hall (21/08/2025, 13:51):
It's like a British version of Walmart, but with inflated prices similar to those in the States. The store had a gloomy and unwelcoming atmosphere. The gas prices were reasonable, but the car vacuum area was a nightmare to navigate in and out of.
Christina Roberts (19/08/2025, 16:20):
I quite enjoy shopping at ASDA, although I must say their café leaves much to be desired. The food is not up to par, the utensils are filthy, and the tables could certainly use a good wipe-down more frequently. The service isn't anything to write home about either. It's a shame, as it detracts from an otherwise enjoyable shopping outing.
Lawrence Martin (17/08/2025, 05:17):
Well, let me tell you, it's like an Asda with a handful of tiny shops tacked onto the edge. Quite bummed that they're reverting to requiring a pound for the trolleys.
